I had soot level high and some DEF problems on my freightliner. I meet a very professional team on the shop who took care of the defects and all the wau communication has been very good!

I've been working with the service department for 5years now. From PM services and tire rotations, to honest conversations around recommendations, to full engine rebuilds, they've done it all for me. The entire team, starting with the Denny at the helm, is top notch. From initial drop off, to communication through out the visit, to the final touches after completion, Transteck - Hagerstown is the entire package!

The service department was great to work with and kept me updated on the repair process and took care of sending everything to the warranty department. This was really my first time having to deal with Freightliner repairing my bus, having someone (females) who actually listened to my concerns and issues and not assume what's going on and then in-turn explained things was wonderful, thanks Elizabeth and Keirston.

Great place with great people. They really know how to take care of a truck. They explained everything I asked about and were very friendly. The two young ladies at the front desk were especially helpful. I would definitely recommend this shop to others.

Tranteck Frieghtliner- Is great to work with! I always feel welcomed and heard when I bring my or My companies equipment in for service. I have been bringing my equipment in to the for almost quite a few years while I was OTR. And now that I am the safety and compliance manager for Panhandle Dumpsters I bring out residential and rolloff trucks to them. From the ladies up front to the managers and the techs in the back every experience has been great. Even the tuff ones, but they try to go out of their way to be fair. 10 out of 10 would recommend!! Well what I gotta say about them is not even about their service as it would cost almost 1k to replace the windshield pump, the pump itself costs 45 dollars, but they were to charge labour (wich is ok) and the diagnose, actually they even put on the "estimate" this diagnosed issues they supposedly find on the truck, I'm not even kidding, pump costs 45$ their service was 450$ and the diagnose was 300 n a few dollars, funny part is that they act like that is normal pricing, well make a better research there are plenty of other companies out there and at the same area, they would charge you a reasonable price for the service and wouldn't hide their diagnose price if it was reasonable for a normal citizen, don't let them rob you.

This place is an absolute joke!!! My truck broke down, got towed to their shop. They said the truck would be diagnosed and fixed the next day. Took them all day to diagnose the problem and couldn't even call to give any updates. Customer service is poor and clearly their workers wanna get paid without doing any real work. They wanted 15k to replace the whole air dryer system but they didnt touch anything. Had to get it towed the following day back home to have my mechanic fix it. DO NOT bring your truck to them. My mechanic diagnosed the problem in 10 minutes and spent 4 hours fixing the problem himself. You're wasting your time going to this place. Not to mention, They lost my truck keys the morning I was getting my truck towed out. Took them an hour to find them.if you can't be honest with your customers and you wanna rip them off and not communicate with them, you should not be in business!! DO BETTER!!!!!!!

My Cascadia derated to 55 mph. I drove it here because it was sorta close to home. I left the truck. A few days later they called to say the truck was ready, and that all the work was done under warranty. I got the truck and headed out on the road. A few days later, on New Year’s Eve, just outside of Emporia, Kansas, the truck derated to 5 mph. I had to get towed down to Wichita. I had to stay in a hotel for several days. Turns out the DEF pump had to be replaced and other issues resolved in the emissions systems. All Transteck did was replace a soot sensor which cleared the initial derate. But they failed to actually troubleshoot the problem and simply did the easiest thing, which wasn’t the problem, but the symptom. It’s laziness that exists in many “repair shops” in the trucking industry. Since it was warranty work, they did the least possible, and left me stranded in Kansas.

The absolute worst communication!!! The worst! We had to call them to get updates on our truck repairs- the last update we got was at 2pm that said they were going to do the regen at 4 and it should be ready at 5:30. So we continue to wait (in the lobby of the hotel we checked out of at 11am because we were told the truck would be done today). At 5:45 we called them again; cuz they don’t communicate- only to get the “we’re closed” recording! CLOSED! They didn’t call and say it’s ready, it’s not ready, nothing! So here we sit- now needing to get a room again…… THE WORST COMMUNICATION EVER!!

Had my Freightliner M2 in for repairs at Freightliner of Hagerstown. I want to say that Kyrsten went above and beyond for me. Kyrsten keep me informed every step of the way from parts being ordered to parts have arrived and we are still on track to get your truck done by promised time. I was a service manager for 20 years before starting my own business. I want to say that Kyrsten is by far the best Advisor I have ever had to deal with. So when you need great service give Freightliner a call. Thank you again to Denny for letting me drop my truck off and for Kyrsten for going above and beyond handling my truck and for getting it delivered back to save me a trip. Great job you are appreciated.

I checked in Friday afternoon was told I had to wait to Sunday morning by the girl who gave me service order # on my truck as I had to wait for the warranty people to go over our Def pump issues so on Sunday morning I walked in talked to a guy he told me there was already 6 trucks infront of me I said ok so at 11 am I called he said there was now 4 trucks infront of me so at 115 pm I called and the new guy who answered told me no there is 7 trucks now infront of me. So how can this be possible?? They play games with times I believe or they take care of there locals here b4 any warranty issues!! Then he told me that some 1 put on our service work order it will be now Monday. No 1 told me monday!!! This type of disrespect and lies will most likely make me make a decision never to buy a freightliner again!! This is wrong!

Had a great time at the shop. Took an extra day because they had a bracket break and they had to overnight it. Went in for the one box. Called Sunday to seee how backed up they were and was told probably Monday afternoon but it was first come first serve. Fine that is standard for all shops. Knew I wasn’t going to make the Sunday before close so I showed up at open on Monday. They were still filling out paperwork as the tech took it back.. took several hours to come up with a diagnosis and solution and make sure they could get the parts. Was told that all parts would be in 3-5 days but one bracket was on back order and may hold the instill until Monday. Fine we had a plan parts were on order was given an early cross your finger timeline and a realistic time line. Everything was going great a planned Wednesday finish by close and the trucking gods decided to break a bracket. The immediately called me they had found one and could get it next day. Still finished Thursday night and was back on the road Friday. Every question I had they answered about the bill everything was explained until I understood it. Don’t like breaking down but if I’m in the area I will happily do business with them again. I felt like did everything they could within their powers to get me back on the road. In 24 years I have learned even the best mechanics can have a 5 minute job turn in to a nightmare but it’s how the deal that makes a difference.

Was traveling home from vacation in DC when our 36 ft Diesel pusher broke down. Coach Net had the RV towed to transteck Inc because they were a certified freightliner repair shop and Coach net advised that they would be able to check it out the same day. We arrived at there shop around 1:00. And was advised that if they could free someone up they would look at it. At 8:00 pm after waiting all day a service tech finally came and looked at the RV. After 30 mins looking for the plug for his computer and me telling him there was none he looked at the engine and determined that the serpentine belt and water pump needed replaced. He advised that they did not have the water pump and it would have to be ordered. That was day one. Day two. Even though someone had already looked at the RV, they sent a technician out to diagnose. And again the technician said that the water pump needed replaced, and that appeared that there was no other damage to the motor . He advised that they would order the water pump and it would be the next day before it would arrive. Me and my wife was sitting in the RV in the back of the lot this entire time . I decided to find a rental car for her to dive on home. This took all day and 5 Uber driver to finally find a vehicle Since no one wanted to rent a one-way rental. Day three 8:30 am The mechanic finally came out to the RV and installed the driveshaft and Took the RV inside stating that the water pump parts would be there at 10 o’clock and if all went well, we would be out of there by noon. 12:30 pm I walked down to the bay and noticed the mechanic was still working on the RV . He advised that he had broken the bolt, trying to get the water pump off and was unable to get the stud out. 4:00 pm I walked down and talked to the mechanic which advised he had gotten the stud out after welding a nut on the stud. He was cleaning up and putting his tools away . I asked what was going on. He advised that he was leaving and a 2nd shift mechanic would finish the job. 6:30 pm The mechanic advised that they had purchased the wrong belt. 9:30pm The service tech advised that he had not given up looking and had one more place to check. 10:00pm Service tech advised that he was not going to be able to get a belt until the next day. So I was forced to go get a hotel room. Day four 8:30 am I walk back at the dealership and noticed the mechanic underneath the RV. mechanic still working on RV along with other trucks. The RV was pulled out of the bays and begin running it around and around the dealership to see if it was going to overheat. Approximately 10:30 I was given my bill an explanation of services. . It stated the RV was not getting hot , still smoking from the tailpipe, but no leaks 3,315.75 $2587.50 labor $302.44 parts Rest miscellaneous . Service tech advised that he thought that an injector was going bad. So I declined any other services and left. I started my journey home, but only made it approximately 30 miles when the RV began and the temperature gauge went to the red. Overheating again. Hi, then called another heavy wrecker and decided to haul it back to Ohio costing another $3000.00 This dealership had no communication whatsoever. The service manager at the front desk was very unfriendly And never knew what was going on at any point . The only way I found out anything was walking down and talking to the mechanic. They ordered the wrong parts. They broke bolts and still charged labor to repair there screw up. Never been treated this way And would not recommend anyone To have any service done at trans Tech Inc.

Had a really good conversation with Dan the shop manager. Very down to earth people. The service people are very knowledgeable and kind. Looking forward to do more work with Freightliner. One of the finest shops in the area.

One star is truly too much to give these horrible people. They have the absolute worse customer service. I left my truck on Saturday with a play on the steering wheel to fix this issue. So, they made a diagnostic and said that a play on the steering wheel cause of “steering drag link”. I have asked them couple time after replacing the drag link Will a play on a steering wheel disappear, they said YES. Then, they replaced the steering drag link but the problem wasn’t fixed and I payed for that, my drivers have made a small driving test (2-4 Miles) and they found that nothing has been fixed, there was a still a huge play, my drivers returned truck in 15 minutes after checking out from service. Because nothing was changed, I payed $1300 for their wrong diagnosis and wrong replaced part. In addition they are going to charge me for the another diagnostic that they made wrong for the first time. What if they make a wrong diagnosis and replace another part that will not fix my issue. Do i have to pay one more time for nothing they fixed. The truck isn’t drivable at all, it is very dangerous. They’re liar and they’re theives.

Shortly after leaving their shop,(the next day) both mirror covers came off within 30 min of each other. They didn't bother to remove grease and check part number of 5th wheel but instead tried to charge me over $1000 for new. See pic of part plate and paper with different make and part number for 5th wheel. Engine light still on. Went in for abs light.

⛔?Warning truckers: Long wait, wasting time and money ! THIS IS FROM MY OWN PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH THEM & I PROMISE GIVING YOU THE CORRECT AND ACCURATE INFORMATION YOU NEED. I'm gonna give them -5 stars if I could. They didn't even fixed my RECALL ISSUE! My truck engine light is still ON! I brought my truck in on Friday, for a RECALL service. The gentleman at service department told me we will get your truck in by tomorrow noon ( Saturday). So I decided to stay in my truck that cold night because my truck will get fixed by tomorrow. But on Saturday they said we r behind and will get your truck in on Sunday and you will be out Sunday afternoon. So I left to my home. But no wonder, when I called them on Sunday 0400 pm they said we're sorry we couldn't get your truck in today and we will definitely get yours on Monday morning. And on Monday morning I gave them a call by 0930 am, said: OK we are fixing the recall issue and by the way we sent you an email with an estimated fixing cost, take a look on that and let us no. And when I saw that estimated cost of fix trust me it blowed my mind. (($12375.00)) For ; 1. one headlight change 2. Advance Diag to find issue 3. DOT INSPECTION 4. Replacing air comp and dryer and hoses 5. Reseal leaking cam SHG 6. Alignment 7. Replace leaking oil sender By the way I refused their estimation and I called to their parts department and asked them how much is a head light assembly for a freightliner cascadia? They said it's $844.50. But on their service department that headlight assembly was $915 Look how much they get extra on the parts they get from their own store ?! Please DO NOT COME HERE. THIS IS RIPPING OFF! Call other dealers and ask them about the price of an ELD headlight of a freightliner cascadia and compare it. Go to a local mechanic as long as it's possible for you and do not go here.

The 3.1 rating is off, give them a chance. My 2012 Freightliner was repaired back in Aug. so the lateness for this review is somewhat intentional. Levi, Logan and Tony all had great attitudes and patient with me, Tony the night manager went overboard with great customer service seeing to it that all went well and getting me to the hotel. My truck had 9 codes, my ECM was fried and I could only go 5 mph; after 5 months no codes rides good. Awesome work (the shop was clean clean). If I had to complain about anything it would be how long it took but I rather it be done right and any time your dealing with a dealership it's going to be $$$ so really no complaints here. The facility was nice from the shop to the drivers lounge.
