Today I delivered a load of metal. Most of it contained chain link fences, so they didn't accept my load. Very disappointed because they're supposed to be a recycling company.
Came here to be loaded. Was an absolute nightmare. No communication whatsoever, nothing marked, had to guess where to go. The guy who loaded me dropped the plate so I assumed he was done since all he was doing was walking around, get to the scale and evidently he wasn't. Place is a joke and I will refuse the next load
I had an old grill, lamp pool and a few small pieces of metal. The guys were very helpful in directing me where to go, explaining what I should do. The process was smooth and did not take long. I was excited to be able to recycle those pieces as opposed to putting them in the trash. I would come here again and recommend others. Got a small check for my metal!
This place is awesome! The most amazing customer service no matter which employee you speak with, better prices than anyone else! Absolutely love this place!
👏👏👏👏👏 ENCORE FOR ENCORE I’ve been using this facility since 2017. I made a BIG mistake of going to another recycling center from word of mouth and will never do it again. Encore workers remember your face and name and what you bring in. They are a family and they make you feel like you are family too.
Better than their competition. Very clean operation easy access to the metal scrap area. Aluminum is not as well organized. Their rate are very competitive. Costumer service is good most times. Professional and courteous.
Last couple days I been coming here and the whole staff from the back to the offices are just amazing! Everyone is helpful

We had a wonderful experience on a beautiful day. Encore recycling was really clean and well organized. We were impressed by the fast and friendly way of how our time was handled. Best prices for copper, aluminum, coils, motors and (#1 & #2) wire in Atlanta. Have to go all the way to Conley for better battery pricing.

I have nothing but good things to say about encore recycling and it's knowledgeable staff. They tried to treat everyone with respect and professionalism that they deserve. I will not choose another recycling plant simply because they know how to treat people and to put a smile on your face when things might not be going so good. Encore Recycling ♻️ is hands ✋ down the best anywhere around. Their customer service is impeccable, and they treat their customers like they should be treated. The ladies in the front office are very nice and friendly. The guys at the scale ⚖ house 🏠 are very knowledgeable and safety minded about their job and they make sure that you get every dollar 💵 you deserve !! Unlike some of the other scrap yards around that will try to cheat you!!! This place without a doubt will give you the most money for your metals and they treat you like you're supposed to be treated 💯 !! I highly recommend Encore Recycling!!

I had two cars and called by phone and asked how much they will pay per car. I told them that they were both sedans and were about 3,000 pounds each. The guy I spoke to over the phone said they will pay 575 per car. So I had a tow truck bring the two cars over and I brought some other items that I had around the house that were scrap metal. Once I went to go check out, they gave me a check for $383. I explained that the gentleman told me that he would give 575 per car and that the check was incorrect. The cashier said that is 575 per car. She said the 575 is 5.75 cents per pound. There is a big difference between 575 per car and 5.75 cents per pound. That made me very upset because that was completely misleading. It basically cost me about the same amount to tow the cars up there as I'm getting back. If I knew it was only 5.75 five cents per pound, I would not have brought the cars up there. I will never do business with them again because not only were they most likely intentionally misleading and but also the amount of money that they pay is just not worth my time. Worst company ever! And I would not trust the good reviews. They have a sign in the office that asks for good reviews to be made while at the window and if you show the five star review to the cashier, she will enter that person into a raffle for a $100 cash prize for that good review. A lot of the good reviews are probably just made to how to win the $100 and are not legit. One of reviews call on the reviewer the November winner of the raffle. I regret taking any of my stuff to then and would take it all back if I could!
Encore is and very Safe and Friendly environment.
I recommend you go to the one in Lithonia, they run very efficiently. The front desk, although it's only one person in there, she is quick with her hands and politely break everything down for me. The guys are amazing super cool, never had a spec of bad energy. They make recycling easy and comforting.

Very good experience. The guy that waited on us was very friendly and nice and the customer service lady in the trailer was very nice if you want to sale cans or any other alumi. This is the place to go.😊
Worst recycling center ever, stole 1k lbs from me; their excuse is that I had several appliances that had plastic and without telling me they deducted 1k lbs. when I confronted them they were rude and when I told them I would write a review the clerk told me to “do whatever you want” worst customer service experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you wanted to have your money stolen. I will also report them to the BBB, businesses like these should not be allowed to run.
It is always an awesome experience here. I bring my daughter’s cans so she can make her coins. They are always pleasant and timely. Thanks for all you do.
This is a great yard! They help you with figuring out what's the best price for what you bring. They're knowledgeable and Ms.Charlotte is the best as well as the rest of the office staff! Good vibes and good place to scrap

I go to encore about every other day each week they knowledgeable helpful and honest Ms Charlotte is lovely as well as the other staff of ladies the Guys at the weight station are cool always telling me what to look out for as far as scraps and material also I run into other people there just good environment even though it’s a yard but overall always a good time when I come check or no check
Service was good... But i had same exact items I took to progressive in norcross.. I received $22 from encore, and $69 from progressive... so they short you on your money... I wanted to get my items back but couldn't... I chose not to go to progressive because it was 45 mins away... but drive would've been worth it...
