This place is a true gem! If you're looking for a great place to have an event, there are two residences for guests and a nice sized barn with space for tables, dancing and a band. We went for a meeting with a presentation for our organization and for fun, our group did a western theme. The acoustics made it easy to hear the presenters and the layout was conducive for seeing the screen. We enjoyed a catered dinner and had options for red and white wine by Kirkland which were really tasty! The owner gave us a tour of the residences. The larger spot was gorgeous and beautifully upgraded, ideal for a bride to be or speakers who need a place to stay before their presentation. The secondary residence was perfect for groomsmen or a sleepover style party!
The venue is lovely. We were there on hot/rainy evening, there is no A/C and it was very uncomfortable. We still had a great time but we were very glad to get outside after the show.
Evergreen was the perfect venue for our daughter’s wedding. Having the property from Thursday until Sunday was so convenient, we never felt pressured about time. The best part was Missy! She was onsite for the ceremony and reception, she was beyond amazing. She jumped in when she didn’t have to, she definitely went above and beyond. If you book Evergreen for your event, definitely ask to work with Missy!

We have enjoyed our beautiful trees from here every year. The staff is very helpful and the stock is always plentiful, it makes it very difficult to make a decision on which tree will be the one! Prices are super reasonable and a great value. Can't go wrong here!
I liked the spacious area but on the day we went it was raining so the loading area was very muddy. The parking area is a little walk to the venue doors so on the cold windy day we were there it felt like the longest walk. This was the reason for the 4 stars other than that I thought it was a very nice atmosphere and it looks good from the outside and inside. It's November so , The venue was cold when I first arrived but that changed as people started to fill the space. I do not know the cost of the venue.
This year's trees were underwhelming. Big 11footer was split right down the middle and held together by a zip tie. But still up to be sold. Come on now. Staff is nice though
Ever since I moved down state, our family tradition is to go to Evergreen Farms on Black Friday, and pick our 10ft+ Christmas tree. Every tree I’ve bought from Evergreen has been quality, and lasted through Christmas and in some cases beyond.
They’re friendly people, you always get a complimentary Christmas ornament and a free block of Haas Scrapple to boot. They also do Holiday craft fair events, on top of the work they do as a venue.
Nice little spot for gatherings or weddings. No ac, and only two single bathrooms. Rain was an issue as it was coming slightly inside the building making the floor wet. Overall good experience.
Place was really pretty, and I wish i saw more of it, but the person who was suppose to give us tour did not show up.
Update: venue director did call and text, explaining the situation and apologizing for the inconvenience. She offered amazing customer service, and was very polite over the phone.
As new residents in DE, we weren’t sure where to get a tree from this year for Christmas. We happened to stumble onto Evergreen Farms and I’m so glad we did! The employees were kind and made the whole thing a breeze. The options were endless and the trees were all beautiful. They even tied it to the roof for us! We will definitely return next year!
Amazing as it is every year!! Huge selection of trees, their amazing handmade wreaths, the yearly ornament and thanks to Haas for the scrapple too! I go back every year and I can't wait till they are sustainable again and we can go out and cut our own trees like before! Thank you for bringing life back to Evergreen!!
Unfortunately had to cancel 10months ahead of our date, and still couldn't recoup any of our deposit. Even after we had to change our original date due to "double booking error" on their part.
Best experience getting a tree ever. And they gave us a homemade door ornament/wreath, an ornament for the tree, some delicious scrapple from Hass butcher shop along with having the tree bags available. Thank you. We will be back next year for sure.
It was a really experience. The staff was helpful, the trees are very full and pretty . We lived our free scrapple and ornament. And I got an adult hot apple cider . Yum ! I definitely recommend!
