Such a sweet staff! So thankful to be able to bring my gently used clean items here and walk out with some cash! Thank you!

I have gone to this place a handful of times and every time it has been ridiculous process and rules that keep changing of how to bring in your items and what they are looking for. If you want the best money out of your items, go to a mom's group on Facebook or do marketplace. I would never recommend once upon a child to any of my friends.

Waste of time!! I think they want the clothes off your back. Rude workers making comments about the previous customer when she misunderstood a deal they were having. Worker said maybe she needs a hearing aid really unprofessional. Won’t be back!!

Convenient place to get to. Takes almost everything you drop off. Nice place and lots of variety of things in the store. Friendly staff.

This store use to be great I go to sell all of my child’s clothes and toys now they barley pay out stuff that should be paid more for they are giving you cents for but selling for a lot of money they are very picky now on what they take they gonna lose a lot of business if they keep going the way there going

They pick and choose when they want to buy clothes. If you try calling NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE so that is a waste of time and gas. Just go to wilmington store they are professional and do things right (Dover store is LAZY)

This place use to be great but now every time you go they have a different rule of size of container, no trash bags or some days just simple not accepting anything. It is very frustrating when you live an hour away. This has been my 3rd and last attempt. They send out texts for a bunch of other things. Why not send a text to let people know about the changes for containers or when not accepting things.

After taking 16 items I was offered $13 thats not even a dollar an item. Almost all of my clothes had tags on them and were in season as well as name brand. I took over 50 items in and this was the result. Will not be doing business here again and will not be shopping here anymore since you can't buy my items that have brand new tags but can sell items with dirt on them or worn like the shoe section. ETA: posted this on their Facebook and they erased it. How unprofessional.

Coming here is such a huge waste of time, unless you love spending money and getting next to nothing for what you sell. I always call before I bring anything in to make sure it is a size they are accepting and I still leave with a bin just as full as when I came despite having name brands, and clean clothes with no stains. They will tell you everything you bring in is stained. I could buy something off their rack, turn around and sell it right back to them and they wouldn't take it. Will not be returning!

Insane prices they are selling things for 20 dollars less than retail price. Why are you buying used items then selling it for almost the same price if you would buy it from a store for example they are selling a stroller for 125 dollars I checked online and the company is selling it for 140.at that point you’re better off buying a product brand new

Staff is nasty. People take yours clothes to a church, social Service building ,give to friend or family member. The store is clean and neat though.

This store is dirty and unorganized and the staff are very rude and dismissive. They open at 10am and had me and another family sitting outside the door until 10:19am just looking at us. They give vibes off Like they dont want u there and dont want to touch or look at ur stuff. I brought in brand new books, toys, clothes, and shoes like dated 2025 brand new and they offered me 7 dollars. I have been here before and already knew I wasn't gonna get anything because the vibes were off and the one mixed girl with black hair didnt catch name was rude!!! She said my stuff was old and had stains and none of it was if I could insert pic i would. Just DONT WASTE UR TIME HERE. and when I get her name im gonna make a complaint.

I don't understand why they never want any of your name brand items that are in great shape ( brought in just boy clothes like they listed on FB page; were freshly laundered and laid flat in a box )but all the clothes and shoes on the rack are very worn. Makes no sense.

I have shopped at this store for years and I’ve never seen it look so unorganized and dirty. Everything looks like it’s just shoved anywhere. It’s starting to remind me of goodwill but with target prices. The last few times I’ve been into this location there has been newer and fewer staff. I’ve come in before with 1 person working and a line of 7 people. Lately they only have 1-2 people working who don’t even acknowledge when you walk in or when you are standing in front of the register ready to check out. As I was visiting the store this afternoon the staff was eating their lunch behind the counter while the woman who was ringing me up was literally chewing her food while she was talking to me. So unprofessional & disrespectful.

I went there today to donate my baby clothes and I am very disappointed because they wasted my time, I drove an hour away to donate clothes and shoes to them. I been donating my daughter clothes for two years now , and when I donate my baby clothes I go through them to check and see if it’s worth donating or not, knowing the type of person I am I take care of my child’s clothes and I would never donate clothes that looks a mess to a child sorry that’s just not me, but the whole bag of clothes and shoes were stained, so they say, some of the clothes my baby wore one time looked new like this place is unprofessional, I walked around the store and I go to the shoe section and it dirt inside the sandals, sneakers bent up and it very much hurt my feelings because I know I take damn good care of my child’s clothing. Like everything in the store was wore down or had stains on it , like I would never come back here again. And not to mention I donated to under shirts that wore still in the pack like so they were stained too? They really had some nerve!!!!

Will never go there again. I had never been before, a friend recommended. I brought a bunch of clothes my son out grew or didn’t like. At least 10 pair of BRAND NEW Children’s place jeans he had never worn bc he didn’t like that they were “skinny jeans”. I walked around and looked at things while the woman sorted through the bags I brought in, THE WHOLE TIME she’s making nasty comments like I’m not RIGHT THERE! (If you don’t like your job get a new one!) when they called me back they only wanted to take 1 pair of jeans and 1 set of FADED Christmas pajamas?’ and offered me 6 dollars. She said “most of the things have hair on them”. Hair… like no one had a dog? Literally half those clothes were brand new with tags lol this place and its employees is a joke. Specifically the larger brunette white woman. Unfortunately I didn’t get her name.

Im so tired of purchasing things here, and when we got to take it back, it's in the same condition we bought it from, and they will not take it back. Plus, the things you sell there are reasonably priced, but your buyback costs are ridiculously discounted where it's not worth selling back anyway. Will not be shopping here anymore due to this!

will not be returning to this location, brought in a whole basket of newborn- 6 month clothing. all either new, or worn once or twice. washed and folded all of it prior to it being taken in. was told just about all of the belongings could not be excepted due to “staining”. highly disappointed in the lack of reasoning and customer service

Once Upon a Child is an incredible place! The last one I visited had 2 extremely helpful women working who helped me immensely & they found exactly what I needed. The variety of things for sale for babies & young childrenis almost unbelievable. It is not unusual to find brand new clothes with tags still on. Also gently used clothing that I have no hesitation to buy. Toys & useful/necessary items galore. It is worth the ride if one is not near.

I’ve been to several once upon a child’s in several states and this one has been my least favorite. I’ll start off by saying they have a good selection of items, so many toys, clothes etc. I’ve been offered fair prices for the items I sell, no complaint there. However the customer service is below average, the workers don’t look enthusiastic, when they ring you up they are not warm or welcoming, a lot of them seem to have attitudes or lack of enthusiasm to work. There seems to be little care about the work they do. My other problem is the items, a lot of them are way over priced for being used. When you look at the shoes there are so many that they are selling that are old and dirty and should not have been bought from customers in the first place. Some of the clothes are over priced as well. While I was in there today I overheard several people complain about the prices as well. Over all, it’s an okay shop.

I absolutely love this place. You can take your gently used or new merchandise there and knees and you can get cash or a check if it’s over $75 and you can use it like to shop there if you want or just leave so you don’t even have to shop there if you don’t want. But they have super super super good deals like really really really good prices on all the stuff. And you can sell your strollers pack and plays toys anything not just clothes like I originally thought but they’ll buy anything and they sell everything baby or kid related. If you have never been here before you have to check this place out especially if your mom.

Very rarely do I leave reviews but I’m honestly disappointed. I brought in a fisher price musical lion walker and a bag of clothes yesterday. When I came in to pick it up first they couldn’t find my pickup. They tried to give me someone else’s named Melissa but I continued to state my name and show my ID. Once it was found I was told they could only accept the walker they felt the clothes were to dated. I said okay that was perfect collected my fifteen dollars and left. This morning I went through my bag to see what I was giving to goodwill and about half of my daughters clothes were missing? Things with tags, some t shirts and a pair of pants. So I’m confused on where the clothes are??? I hope this was an honest mistake. I think they were going through multiple bins and possibly my daughters things were mixed in? If that’s the case there definitely needs to be better organization when going through peoples items and possibly more training. We’re not strapped for cash it’s always nice to make a few dollars back on baby items but imagine if a mom was? I recommend checking your bags before you leave and possibly taking pictures of the things you bring in to keep track

I'm actually surprised at some of the bad reviews Once Upon a Child has recieved here. Personally I've never had a bad experience. The customer service is good, the location is clean, and the options are amazing. You can find just about anything here. Clothing, activity gyms, strollers, bouncers you name it. Usually something new every week or so. I really think it makes sense to buy items that your child will out grow in a month or 2 from here at their very reasonable prices. Like in the picture I added here you can see the quality of products that they retain and again... you cant beat their prices on the usually expensive baby activity accesories and equipment.
