The old guy at the counter is not capable of finding the correct parts the first time. I've been patient with the guy but he can't do his job correctly. Maybe it's time to retire old school .
I tried to warranty out a starter that was purchased two years ago and it is defective and the lady over the phone did not even attempt to try and help me, she just did whatever she could to get me off the phone so she didn’t have to deal with me anymore. Will never purchase anything from the enfield location again. I will happily take my business across the street to Advance Auto Parts.
I've been to better NAPA stores. The workers can come off as arrogant/condescending. They have what you need but I don't think it would kill them to at least pretend like they care.
This is pretty much my go to place when I need a car part and don't know the part outright. The price is decent, and it's workers are pretty straightforward with you. Why 3 stars? Because they are decent all around, they are not bad but at the same time they are not at the top top of the line. At the same time though I would definitely recommend them over and over again.
Always a good experience. There are a few experienced people and newer people. A good mix of both and the newer people seem willing to ask the older people for help when needed. That's important. Definitely recommend.
On 6-20-2022 my friend went to this Napa because her battery light was on. I know Napa training says to look over the car while your under the hood to see if there are worn parts. They did a battery test and said it was a bad battery. They then sold her a $189 battery to which she brought to me to install.
It was a matter of seconds under the hood when I noticed that her serpentine belt had snapped because it was old and dry-rotted.
So I drove her back to get the serpentine belt and informed them that the belt was the issue, not the battery. To which they responded with attitude, defending the fact that the battery was no good. No acknowledgement of them overlooking the serpentine belt being detached.
So, we get the belt and it turns out that it was the wrong belt. On the receipt was the correct part number but the part itself, was a different part number. One that was too short. So 3 trips, an hour and a half of my time, all of five minutes to install the new belt and it is fixed. This deserves a 1 star.
Went there looking for a bolt. Got the typical autozone questions. Year make model engine size. Typed in the computer. We don't have it. Went to Napa in windsor locks. He checked the thread and length and LOOKED FOR IT. They gave me the bolt that worked. Enfield has LAZY computer jockeys. Don't waste your tome there go straight to windsor locks.
Is this Napa is simply the worst I went there to return something the lady wouldn't do it It's because it was gonna make their store look bad she was super rude. I had to drive all the way to Bloomfield!! I'm so upset I might not ever use never again. When I spend mad money there. The lady told me her boss would be mad if I return something there from different store. Whoever the boss is from this location I suggest you start treating customers better
Sue was freaking awesome!!! She recommended a great place to go and get my car checked out because my car is having a lot of issues. Even though they didn’t have what I was looking for, I will definitely be returning for all my needs and questions! Best customer service out of any auto parts store I went too. Thank you Sue!
Helpful counterperson. Looking for touch-up auto paint by Duplex. Could not find a match. She referred me to their paint center on Spring Rd. In Windsor.
Didn't have the item I was looking for, but an employee came out to look at my car to see if there was something else that could be used. He gave me some suggestions. He also told me he could order the item, but it would be very expensive and he didn't suggest going that route.
What can you say about NAPA. Been in business forever. Have what you need or can order it for a reasonable price. Quality parts are a little more expensive, but, you buy it once. Or you can go to some other place, pay pennies, and get parts you will most likely need to replace again and again. Your choice, but I like to do it once and done, NAPA delivers that. Rather than over and over.
Awesome place full of great prices and knowledgeable staff. Don in particular is a great person to work with, and always sets the bar as to how an employee should be.
Ordered online and was greeted with great service at the door. My product was available quickly and was waiting for me at the counter. The CSR that I dealt with was helpful and even offered up some advise and suggestions for other product.
The staff here is top notch. They've got just about anything I need to keep my vehicles running, the prices are great, and the crew behind the counter know what they're doing. My favorite auto parts store.
Very helpful staff! I was looking for a few body connectors and they open packages to help me find just the right size. Anything they didn't have they were able to get by the next day.
Can't say I was impressed by this visit - I stood in front of the items and no offer to help. When I asked about an item (saw it online) just said nope we don't have that. No offer to look it up or point that it is online.
I have received good help in the past and even with a warranty items with great results, must not have been his day to help.
When I walked into the store I got hit with an icicle in the head. When I told the woman at the counter she didn’t seem to care and when I suggested that they knock them off she said and I quote “That’s the landlord problem”. I wasn’t suggesting that they get out there and do the whole thing just the door area because yes someone will get hurt and whether they go after NAPA or the landlord why not avoid it if possible. They could have used the long pole that was being used inside to reach up high. I most likely will not be going back there I will drive farther away if need be.
Napa usually carries everything I need for my Audi at a fair price. They have the coolant I need that Advance and AutoZone doesn't carry. Parts are way better quality than their competitors.
