All the photos and things we heard about it seemed great…until you try calling and no one ever answers the phone or sends us an email back. We even drove down but couldn’t even get in the gate or someone to answer. We have called multiple times, left voicemails and emails, but still nothing. If you’re looking to get married here…I’d avoid it.

"Best experience! The staff was flawless and the grounds and views were impeccable. One of the best parts of our stay was the farm-to-table experience, not to mention the horseback riding, bike riding, amazing gym, and unbelievable cook. Also, the “little comforts” that made each guest feel special, from the chocolate covered strawberries upon arrival to the turndown service with boxed chocolates and slippers at night, every possible detail was expertly thought out and executed with exquisite taste.”
Spectacular location, nestled in the rolling hills of the Virginia countryside. Luxurious accommodations coupled with outstanding service and wonderful food. In addition to the peaceful surroundings, there are a host of different amenities to satisfy all tastes. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit.
We brought our board for a retreat and it could not have gone better! We had a wonderful time on the grounds and the food and service were outstanding! Highly recommend!
A group of us recently spent a long weekend at the Lodge and it’s difficult to put into words how incredible the property, staff, and accommodations really are. The level of service was exceptional over the course of the entire weekend, and the chef and his team consistently prepared meals that exceeded our expectations. The property itself is located on 1,200 acres of pristine countryside with plenty of room for a variety of outdoor activities that the entire family can enjoy. To anyone looking for a private, luxurious venue for their next big event, I would highly recommend booking a stay at The Lodge at Moss Neck for a truly unparalleled experience.
My stay at the Lodge at Moss Neck was an incredible, unique experience. I experienced luxury and pampering of a 5 star resort - with the genuineness and fun of a farm! The lodge itself is absolutely gorgeous and includes a movie room, sports bar, basketball court and work out gym plus more! The rooms are classy, and the staff….well, I can’t say enough about the staff and their service. They are truly so personable, professional and first class all the way. The food is divine and beautifully presented at each meal. And the activities are seemingly endless between spending time with adorable animals and the gorgeous clydesdales, skeet shooting, egg picking, hitting golf range balls, bocci ball, massages and more. We did different activities each day! Everything was to perfection! This was one of the most enjoyable experiences I have ever had!
What I loved most is the down time and activities offered at the lodge. Activities include off road driving with the Gators, visiting all the animal, enjoying horseback riding and skeet & target shooting. The food was fabulous too and there was a variety of dishes offered. They even make their own honey. For anyone who loves tea, you will really enjoy this. Worth traveling to.
Spent a long weekend at Moss Neck just unwinding and enjoying nature. The 1200 acre resort is sooo beautiful. We spent all day off roading, skeet shooting, visiting the horses and animals. Food was absolutely 5 star as was the accommodations. The staff could not have done enough for us. Just an amazing time.
Our group had a phenomenal stay at Moss Neck in September! Although we viewed pictures on the website before arriving, we were truly “blown away” by the Lodge facility, the incredible food and 5 star service! The pictures on the website cannot fully convey the experience of actually being there. Everyone in our group definitely want to return for a longer stay.
From the time we were greeted at the entrance, until we departed several days later, relaxation was paramount with so many things to do in such a comfortable setting. To name a few, the skeet shooting/rifle range was a lot of fun, the incredible sports bar and room were great to watch football and play pool, but a highlight for me included the incredible horse stable and wagon ride with the Clydesdales! I must also comment on the amazing food we had. The surf and turf night with the huge lobster tail and steak was one of my favorites, although every meal and hors d’oeuvres tray stood out as highly exceptional.
Bottom line: Moss Neck is a fabulous place for any business event, or just to get away with a group of friends or have a celebration. I highly recommend Moss Neck and look forward to my next visit. Truly a 5+ star setting with 5+ star dining and service!!
We were in Fredericksburg a few weeks back and had the opportunity to stay at the Lodge at Moss Neck. What a stay it was! The Lodge itself is a beautiful structure sitting on a small hiss overlooking 1200 acres of beautiful Virginia countryside. Inside, the guestrooms are beautifully apportioned and the amenities were flawless. There is also a generous sitting area with a full bar, massive fireplace and ample seating for your group. Continue searching, and you will come across a generous media/game room with multiple TV's, another full bar, a fitness center, full court basketball court and business center. Truly a special place!
But what truly made the experience as special as it was was the service. I have been blessed in my life to have done a fair amount of travel and I have stayed at some pretty amazing places that are known for the service they deliver, but I have NEVER had an experience to top our stay at the Lodge at Moss Neck. Robert Rajeczky and his staff were out of this world! It truly felt like if you thought of something in your mind, Robert and his group made it happen. The food was 5 star, the cocktails generously poured and the staff from top to bottom made us all feel like we are at home. In all my travels, I have never seen anyone who understands hospitality and how to deliver a first class customer experience like Robert.
I could go on and on, but if your back in that part of the world looking for an intimate, amazing experience with a smaller group of people, I suggest taking a look at The Lodge at Moss Neck.
