I’ve been going to Mullens Garage since I moved here in 1997! They have always taken such great care of me, my vehicles and my family. They are honest, fair, decent and professional! They have a lot of experience which gives me confidence when they’re tackling wonky things. Wes and Ian are good men!

Ian and the staff at Mullens garage are top notch. They are very knowledgeable, professional and won’t try taking advantage of you!

I brought my Mazda here after another mechanic quoted me for 1100 dollars for break pads and a rotor. Mullen’s did it for me at a SIGNIFICANTLY more fair price, and did it in half the time. They also were kind enough to quote me on tires at different places since i was looking to replace them soon. If you’re looking for an honest, upfront, and fair mechanic, these guys are the best!!

I believe I wrote a review before but these guys deserve 5 stars for every visit. They will restore your faith in humanity as a whole not only in mechanics. Yes, there is still honest and trust worthy mechanics. Once you go to Mullen's garage you'll never switch and will bring everyone you know.

Fair prices. Reliable service. My neighborhood alternative to the dealership. Have known them through two generations 20+ years.

They inspected my car and were very efficient and the price was wonderful, only downside is that they didn't call when it was done even though I had an appointment so I had to call them, they could have just been short staffed but keep that in mind. Otherwise they were kind to me, kind to my car and more than reasonably priced.

We've been using Mullen's Garage since 2005. Mullens has been around for a long time, and they are, BY FAR, the BEST GARAGE AROUND! Ian, Chris, et. al, are increadibly knowledgeable and only replace things that are actually broken or need to be replaced. They don't hike up their sales by replacing unneeded parts or doing unneeded repairs. We absolutely love and TRUST Mulles Garage!! We take ALL OF OUR VEHICLES HERE!!!

Possibly the most honest place you can go for car repair. They just don't have time to break your car, just to have you show up a week later to fix something else. They are just too busy doing repair work on your vehicle. Every time I go there I'm amazed at the level of professionalism. I have actually gone there and said there's something wrong with the brakes. I got a phone call later in the day letting me know it's time to pick up the vehicle. How much is it going to cost? There's nothing wrong with your brakes, we just dusted them off. That was what was causing the noise. That's the type of shop this is. I remember when I first started going there, I had a brand new Subaru. It needed some repair, as it was just outside of warranty. They were honest enough to say that they were not particularly familiar with that particular car, and I would have a better deal taking it to the dealership to have them do the repair work. That blew me away! I did not find this establishment at random. Having just moved to Virginia Circa 1992, I asked my brother who was a mechanic by trade how do I find a good repair shop. My brother was living in Colorado and I wasn't sure where to go. He said, look for a garage that has lots of cars out front, two or three hoods open, and an office in disrepair. I know they don't want you to know this, but back when they were a single Bay facility that's exactly what I experienced. What you see before you right now is the expansion of Mullins garage. This was during the early 2000s. The transmission shop off to the right was where the original shop was. They just needed more room because they were just getting more business everyday.

Love this place. We take all our cars there. I made an appointment for the VA inspection and was in and out in 20 minutes, even with a license plate light replacement. On bigger repairs like my water pump, I felt the pricing was very fair. My husband had a good feeling about their honesty on what needed to be repaired. That is very important.

Great place great owner. Always gives us the best price. Buick dealership wanted 500 to fix our buick. Mullins charged us a 150 and we got wait for it. Instead a loaner or rental like buick wanted to do

Very positive experience. Good work at fair prices. Finished work when I was told it would be finished. I'm not in the habit of writing reviews or making recommendations, but I'm comfortable doing so for this business. In order to get 5 stars they would pretty much need to do it for free.

Have used Mullen's a few times since moving to Spotsylvania and they've been great. Prices are reasonable, staff is friendly and the turnaround is pretty fast. Highly recommend

No permanent fixes. Went to get engine check and temperature. All he did was swap the engine coil that was misfiring from #3 to #4 and check the radiator fluid. It ran fine for a day. Total cost: $139.⁰⁰ Then, two days later, the same issue occurred while driving. I ended up changing all 4 engine coils and all 4 spark plugs (badly burnt and gapped). Even though he claimed the spark plugs were good. Cons: No calls for updates. No military discount. Kept car for a whole week. Made a "repair" when all I wanted was a diagnosis. Caution: If you have Dashcams they will be unplugged.

They exceeded my expectations in all ways. Fair price, vehicle completed as promised, and outstanding communication. This was my first time at Mullens Garage, but not my last.

We have had nothing but great experiences with Mullens. They are thorough and fair, so I know I can trust them. I've even sought advice from them about a used car before purchasing it.

They are not the cheapest place in town. They tend to be at average or slightly above. You get what you pay for. At least here. Every job has been done at the quote price and on time. And I have yet to have to bring the car back for an issue not fixed. I always ask a lot of questions. Not only are they welcoming of them, they seem to really enjoy the discussion.

They’re getting busy but easy to set up an appointment. Super super honest! Had an issue where I needed to bring the car back in a second day, and they made sure compensation was fair. Was about $35 where most places would charge $500. Definitely deserving of all the business they’re getting and then some!

These guys are great, I've had them work on my vehicles a few times now and they are always professional, they always check with me before doing any work, and they never try to up-charge me in any way. I highly recommend Mullen's Garage, top notch all the way.

Great folks to work with. So pleasant on the phone and in person. I went in with a tire that wasn't holding air. They had it plugged and had me back on the road in 15 minutes. Reasonably priced services as well. Thanks Mullen's Garage!

I don't typically write reviews pro/con for anything or place, but I'll make an exception. On the occasion that I take my car to the garage, I always take it to Mullen's. They are honest, hardworking guys. They're not going to be anything but straightforward. If you want service different than that, I'd recommend taking your vehicle to the dealership for a healthy shakedown from your favorite service tech. I had an ABS module go out in my vehicle. I grabbed the part from the junkyard and replaced it myself, but it needed flashed because it is VIN specific. The guys weren't sure it would work and were honest about that fact, which I respect. After further consultation with my boss (AKA wife), I decided to try the flash. Roughly an hour or so later, I got a call from them that it was good to go. Saved me a ton of money. They could have told me to pound sand and sold me a new one, or told me the flash didn't work (and I wouldn't have been the wiser), but they didn't. Class acts.

Mullen's is exactly what you want when looking for vehicle repairs... Friendly, trustworthy, and professional. Add to that fair pricing and you have your auto mechanic for life. You don't need to go anywhere else.

Expert, professional services rendered in a family friendly operation. They are honest and forthright which we think makes them unusual in this day and age. My wife likes them because they take the time to explain what is needed in non- technical language. We take both of our cars there and will for the foreseeable future. Great place.

Great customer service at the type of place where normally you expect the worst news about your car’s condition and repair costs. Mullins has my trust that they are not out to massacre my finances. I highly recommend them.

Great local car repair. I've been taking all my cars to them for years after a friend of mine highly recommended them. I really appreciate that they only fix the things you ask for, charge a fair price, and don't tell you a bunch of things are wrong with your vehicle (that aren't) so they can charge you extra. Be aware though, they aren't open on the weekends so you'll need to plan accordingly.

My family has been going to Mullen's for all our car needs longer than I've been alive (>20 years). Their prices are good and their people are trustworthy. I am continuing the tradition.

This place is AMAZING! I went to "Affordable" on Mine Road and I was told that a whole bunch of stuff needed to be repaired to "pass inspection" at the end of this very same month. I asked random strangers at a WAWA to recommend an HONEST mechanic and the name Mullens came up. I went there today to get the car "inspected" and the mechanic fixed the wiper blades and replaced the bulbs in less than 30 minutes for a total bill of only $62 including the inspection! I'm so grateful to have found an HONEST shop, and I will forever recommend this place. Come to find out the other stuff that "Affordable Auto Repair" suggested is not even required for inspections! Thank You Mullens!

Wes and his employees are honest and trustworthy no matter what the issue with your vehicle! My family has been going to Mullen's garage for years and every time, we are treated to friendly, affordable, and top quality service. I wouldn't trust my car to anyone else!
