I had a scheduled towing pickup at 12pm. After waiting for more than hour, I gave them a call and they said 35 minutes later. I waited another hour only to be told 40 minutes later. 3 hours later they never showed up. Do not let yourself be tricked into working with them. Horrible customer service, horrible towing, horrible company. I would give them 0 stats if I could. Avoid like the plague.
United Towing is truly the most compassionate towing company out there! Located in Norfolk, VA, they exemplify kindness in every action. When my car lost power, I found myself in quite a predicament. I had AAA, but I was only covered for the first 5 miles, which left me feeling worried about the unexpected costs. I had just upgraded my plan to 100 miles, but I wasn’t informed that it would take a week for the upgrade to take effect.
The situation was quite stressful, and I was facing a $42 fee to get my SUV to the repair shop. However, my tow truck driver went above and beyond. He not only offered to give me a discount because I was stranded in the cold, but he and his boss also generously offered to split the cost of the tow! I was overwhelmed with gratitude and couldn’t help but tear up at their kindness. They are truly angels in the towing industry—so understanding and respectful. I can’t thank them enough! 🙏🏽 😌
Richard was a total professional. We had a complicated tow with the car stuck in park, parking brake set, all wheel drive, in the garage with limited working space. It was so complicated that the first company AAA sent was unwilling to even attempt it. Richard had the car hooked up and on the way to the dealer safely, efficiently and effectively. Hope to never need their services again, but United Towing sent a pro.
Horrible towing, dishonest and rude employees not to mention too old to be trying to tow someone vehicle. The old man couldn’t even catch his breath then walked off cursing and swearing. This elderly man does NOT need to be working for this company !. Norfolk Virginia location.
I purchased a battery thur these people and have a 3 year warranty . So now that my battery has gone bad I called triple A and they sent out United towing about my battery. Same company I purchased this battery from . And he stated that my battery was shot and he needed to replace it under my warranty but didn’t have the battery on his truck nor the shop and stated it would be ordered . And that I needed to call back and keep checking to see when the battery arrives . So I called Tuesday and Wednesday the battery was not in . When I called today the battery was in but they stated I would have to pay for the battery. So another United towing guy came out and and was completely nasty about me not having my receipt from 2020 . But I had triple A verify that i purchased this battery. So once they verify that . That guy says this is not our battery. And it clearly says interstate battery on the battery. Like the run around just for me to get my battery replaced in warranty something I paided for is crazy to me . DONT EVER CHOOSE THIS COMPANY
I work for PK Auto Sales, an independent dealership, and needed assistance with obtaining a vehicle for repossession. I called on a Friday 3/17/23 and had the vehicle back by Monday...TODAY 3/20/23!!! Very pleasant experience, loved the prompt response when communicating, and it was not expensive at all. Like I said to the gentleman on the phone (I am terrible with names) I am thoroughly impressed!!! I will be using them in the future for ANY tow needs and I recommend you do too. He even had the vehicle left at location within walking distance of my dealership versus taking it back down to Massaponax, exit 126, off of 95 which is about 17 miles away from me! So, again if you need a tow or if you are a dealership and need help with a repo, PLEASE give them your business, because they are worth it plus more!!!

My car broke down on my way home and I called this company which took less than 15 minutes to send a towing truck to pick my car. They also took the vehicle to a mechanic and everything, not just that but the price was extremely good. I recommend this company 100%
I was at the Gym and my keys locked inside my vehicle. I called this guys and responded in minutes, i do not know if it was coincidence or what.. but took them 8 minutes to get there and an extra 3 minutes to unlock the vehicle. very professional.
Took days to schedule a tow and were terrible at commutation. First they told me they didn’t have the car, then checked again and said they did. Instead of taking it to the car lot requested, they took it to their own. Asked for an explanation and they told me to contact my insurance. DO NOT USE if you can help it, super dishonest
I needed my car towed to a local dealership. They broke down only six weeks after I bought it. It was smooth sailing from the website to the phone call to them arriving. No complaints solid people my book
