I will say that they are a little pricier than some of the other repair shops - BUT! I have found over and over that they are reliable, knowledgeable, and super speedy! I took my jeep to two other places nearer to me, and neither could diagnose my problem and got wrong things replaced, and then sent it back without the serious problem being fixed. Laurel Hill was able to correctly diagnose the problem over the phone and was able to fix it within hours, and my car drives perfectly. So I do want to recommend them highly, because they have time and time again fixed our car issues and have done so when other places have not.

I haven't used the shop for major repairs. But I did get the state inspection done here as well as a minor repair. State inspection went quick. I've also stopped by for some assistance when I couldn't get a light bulb released from the housing to change it out. They were kind enough to fit me in quickly and were cost appropriate. Appreciate your technicians!

As always, Laurel Hill Car Care is the best! I went in for my annual safety inspection and was done in under 30 minutes (including wait time). Staff is efficient, helpful and courteous. More importantly they take the time to explain what is going on with my car and work with me to find cost effective solutions. They'll have me for a customer as long as I live in or near the Lorton area.

A very busy location people are willing to line up with their cars here ask your questions directly you should get answers.

I get my inspection done here each year. They are fast efficient and convenient.

I’ve been going there for 10 years with my vehicles, my kids vehicles, and they have performed outstanding service year after year.

Any type of work they have done on my car, has always been excellent.

I came here for oil change all the time. They allow me to bring my own oil and filter. Takes about 20-30 mins I think it is fast. Menu pic attached

Because of Amtrak's incompetence and lack of communication, I was forced to have my passenger door mirror on my 2021 Tahoe removed so it would fit on the Auto Train. When I arrived from New Jersey at 1pm, Amtrak told me I had to get it removed before 2pm or I was out of luck. Thankfully I found Laurel Hill Car Care and they couldn't have been nicer or more professional. They did an incredible job on short notice and got me out of there in about 15 minutes. On my return trip, same exact experience. Great staff. Incredibly helpful and supportive. Highly recommended.

Went for an inspection. The whole experience was very positive. No wait time, expedited service and VERY friendly staff.

I pulled in and got a safety I section for my car. The staff was courteous and efficient, and I was in and out in less than 10 minutes.

Really great guys at this shop who go above and beyond to serve their customers. Long story short- the nearby Autotrain fried my car because they tried to jump it incorrectly. This was the closest garage to tow my car to and I couldn't have gotten luckier! I was basically stranded in Lorton as I live in NJ and was left without a working car. Laurel Hill Car Care worked tirelessly to find out exactly what was wrong with my car, fix what was fixable and one of the guys even drove all the way out to a Hyundai dealership to obtain a part for me- all so that I could be back on the road home on that same day. They really do care about you there and the bill was low given the amount of work and time that was put into fixing my car. Thank you guys!

John is on of the nicest mechanics I have ever dealt with. He explains what is wrong with your car and what needs to be done in a manner you understand. And he doesn't try to rip you off.Have been going there for 12 years

Great place to get your car inspected. Did not have to wait long at all.

Awful experience going to get a state inspection. At no point did they ask me any details about my car or myself. When the inspection was done, they said absolutely nothing to me and asked for my credit card. I had to ask them multiple questions before they finally told me my inspection was rejected because of a power steering issue that I didn’t have prior to coming to this shop. They gave no explanation and once I got my in my car, I noticed my steering is now messed up and makes an audible sound when turning that has never happened until after seeing these guys. I witnessed them go into great detail with other white customers and a genuineness friendly attitude that I did not receive the entire time i was there. I don’t normally leave bad reviews, but this place messed up my car and charged me for it. I spoke with dealer of my car and they informed me that the steering issue had to have occurred while they were doing my inspection. If you are black, I highly recommend going somewhere else, I feel like I was taken advantage of.

Effecient crew and eager to help. Good location off of 95 junction with Lorton Rd. If you are waiting, there is another gas station with a bigger shop on the same street and a shopping center that is walking distance.

Coming from out of state, these guys took great care of my car. I needed a vehicle inspection, and they got it done with 10 minutes. Then when I got my plates they put them on for me. Bob is very friendly, great customer service.

Have always received outstanding service at Laurel Hill Car Care. Bob is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful but most importantly, especially dealing with cars in Northern Virginia, honest. He won't overcharge you and he won't sell you things you don't need. He is fair and that is refreshing to find in NoVa!

I've been here on more than one occasion for service. Each time, I was on a very tight schedule and they were able to perform the required service quickly, efficiently and at a really reasonable cost. The service department is very professional. Highly recommend this place.

I like going here because I don't have to worry about being up sold. If I ask about NEEDED services I'm told what is needed no BS. I also like being I'm recognized when I come in for Service which isn't often mostly routine stuff. I trust them with my car and I highly recommend them for your car.

Best little repair shop in Fairfax County. They have repaired my cars for over 10 years. Always great service at a fair price. Never an up sell, only does what needs to be done to get you moving again. Has night drop off and after hours pick up at the colocated Shell station.

Just re-called them to know when to bring my car and an this guy with no sense of understanding whatsoever trying to make conclusion and at the end telling that they won't repair any car if customer brings the parts... i have an LS400 Lexus and parts are not easy to find and i can't wait another week for them to order the parts!

Can not speak more highly of this garage. They went above and beyond to help my daughter when she had car problems. It reinstated my faith in mankind dealing with Bob and his crew, they were kind, helpful, honest and did not charge for all the extra time and effort they put into the repair. If ever you run into problems I hope you are as fortunate as we were to find such wonderful people! A big heartfelt thank you to everyone.

I agree with Joejoe - I've been taking my cars to Laurel Hill Car Care and the staff there are very fast, efficient and honest. It is refreshing to deal with friendly, honest people in a neighborhood auto repair shop. I have had many safety inspections done by Laurel Hill Car Care (which provide repair shops with the mechanism to hold customers ransome for expensive repairs inorder to get the sticker), and they have never taken advantage of the the situation. I have highly recommend Laurel Hill Car Care to my neighbors and friends and continue to trust my car to their expert mechanics.

This is just about the only car repair place in Lorton and the shop seems to take full advantage of this. The other two ratings were probably done by their friends or relatives because my experience is somewhat different. Friendly? Yes. Fast? Maybe. Inexpensive? Hell NO. I should have learned my first lesson when a headlight bulb change was $35 during my annual State inspection, but I did it again this time because the car had to be towed in and this was the closest place I could come to. Ouch.... $89 per hour labor charge is not too bad when comparing with others, but 2-3 times more on no name brand parts? No thanks. Forget convenience... I will go out of my way to avoid a place like this.
