This is the best auto repair shop period. I've been to many and John's Autocare is superior. Took my car in for oil filer change rotate tires. Price is unbeatable compared to dealer and other shops. Most importantly I called few days before and asked if I can get the car by noon, because of my hectic work schedule. Was in and out in an hour. And got a detailed report sent via text after service showing the condition of the vehicle. (Photo attached) No other car repair shop has such a detailed report. I highly recommend you take your car there for service. You wont be disappointed. They service all vehicles.

I want to take a moment to share with you the best, kindest, most honest and upfront mechanic I've ever worked with: John Briones of John's Auto Care. Not only does he give community discounts (teachers, firefighters, EMTs, military, etc.), he's very communicative. You can text him at any time and he will respond. He sends photos of everything he finds so I can make informed decisions. But yesterday just went beyond exceeding expectations. When I returned his loaner car and picked up my own, he had put gas in my tank because I had been almost empty when I dropped it off. I insisted on paying him, but he refused. If you are looking for a mechanic who has integrity, is hard-working and thorough, communicative, fairly priced, and who really cares about you as a person in addition to your car, John is your man.

We had a screw in our tired. Called the shop and headed there right away. The tire was patched and we were out the door. Amazing service and timely. 100% recommend to everyone.

John is very knowledgeable about foreign cars and he is affordable as well. He quickly diagnosed and resolved my issues with my 2011 Lexus GX 460. I have been taking my SUV to him for years and he has kept it in great running condition. When I picked it up, it looked brand new and drove smoothly.

Another superb job by John and his team! John is great at treating your vehicle like it’s his own. He is good at communicating and keeping you updated on anything that needs your attention. I had new timing belt and water pump installed and came back later to get new brakes, discs, rotors and hoses. His prices are very reasonable. John uses original parts made for the vehicle and not cheap parts like rotors that start rusting before you drive your vehicle home. His workmanship is second to none. Had a nail in one of my tires so stopped in here to see if they could squeeze me in for a quick repair. Could not have been more friendly and accommodating. Tire was repaired within about 25 minutes. Great clean shop and waiting area, excellent customer service. Highly recommend. I'll be back for all of my regular maintenance work.

In-case people didn't know, John use to be a manager at a local shop until he opened his own this past year. As someone who use to my own car work with my father, until we sold our home and no longer had our own car port, John was the only person we could find around and trusted. For almost 5-6 years, he is the only person I will take my cars too. And when I originally needed help, he offered to fill up my girlfriends tires for free and our spare. I know that sounds silly as some places might due that, but many will charge you. To me that is as close as chick-fil-a top notch customer service. John truly offers fair, and reasonable prices and doesn't push for unnecessary work. He will let you know what you might want to do, but openly and freely let's you decide if you want to go somewhere or come back to him. Truly happy for his success and as long as I live in Northern VA, I will only take my cars to his shop.

My son’s car badly needs new brake pads. I’m looking online for a repair shop near me that can do the job efficiently. I found this newly opened shop, John’s Auto Repair. I brought the car in, the mechanic checked it, and did an estimate. We agreed on the price, and the mechanic started the work. I was able to get my car the same day. What a breeze! Excellent service. The mechanic informed me of any work that needs to be done before the problem worsens. I will come back next time I need car repairs and maintenance.

I was having issues with my car, and I’m tired of going to the dealer for repairs since their price are unfairly high for the quality of services. I found John’s Auto Care online and gave it a shot. This is a fantastic garage with a mechanic who cares about your car, not the money. From the moment I called this shop & talked to John (the owner) I was confident that they would be great! He was super helpful & friendly on the phone with me even though he couldn’t take me in for another week. I had my immediate issue fixed at another shop but brought my vehicle back to John’s auto care for a second opinion on an additional repair quote I received regarding my front suspension. John just charged me an inspection fee and fixed the problem that I was quoted thousands of dollars for at another shop. He told me all my vehicle needed was some bolts tightened (on the engine mounts, control arms etc) and that the rest was just regular wear and could last a few years longer before needing to be replaced. I appreciated his honesty and the professionalism he displayed. I’ve finally found a reliable shop!

The other shop I went to quoted me hundreds of dollars just to diagnose the problem, and even more to fix it; plus days to fix.
