Let me start with the word RUDE! When you run a business it is important to provide great customer service and be respectful to all people. I understand you are running a business and your company has a job to do, but you can do it with kindness. My car was towed by Dominion, I was visiting my Grandmother whose health is failing, I parked my car in the visitor parking space and turned on the Pango app to pay for my parking.I”ve visited this apartment complex and have always paid with the app. What I did not realize is I had driven my other car, so my license plate on the parked car in the space was my other car, however I was paying for the space on the app. I was not trying to violate any parking rules, and I had no problem paying which I did. I told them towing my car was ridiculous. I showed them my app displayed me paying. I was charged $210 for towing . I’ve been blessed to be able to pay it, so it was not about the $210. It is about companies that run businesses without caring, just looking to make a $. Hopefully at some point the business will realize kindness goes a long way. It was an honest mistake on my part. I had parked the wrong car in the space but was paying on the app with the correct zone number. I’ll be bringing this to the apartment complex’s attention.
Please do noto hire this company. They towed cars in my subdivision that were legal. Although it was reported to several management employees, this company contiuned to tow cars illegally. In fact, this company towed cars and returned the cars to the exact same parking spot.
They break bumpers, and when you get in front of them, they run you over. They ran me over and went to hide at Walmart on Route 1 Richmond Hwy.

Wish I could give zero stars! This business is the very definition of unscrupulous. Towed my car even though there were signs that said parking was allowed for residents and visitors. Their reasoning a recent email/letter deactivated those spots which supersedes those signs. How are you supposed to park anyway for 15 -20 minutes with clearly visible signs when emails are floating around!
There is no humanity in this people. Hope they will get treated the same way in their life. You can’t make this up we have a dashcam footage that the towing car was waiting (stalking) 50 yards away till we leave the car. In 4 minutes he managed to drive off with my car right next to driveway. Car was unattended for 5 min. Dominion Towing not about parking enforcement as they pretending to be, they just take advantage of the system. My damage was 210$ pretty much predatory why not 2000$ Dominion Towing ?
Towed my hybrid car incorrectly, damaged my vehicle- possibly transmission/ drive train / break issues ! Filed police report on the lot ! I’ll definitely file a claim against this business if this can’t be resolved
Had furniture delivered to house in which they requested we move the car from the driveway momentarily while they bring everything in. Parked in community space for less 40 minutes with plenty of open lots left before car was towed- most likely called in by local Karen. Costs $200 by this predatory service. Would feel deeply ashamed to work for this unethical predatory company but they dont care. Employees couldnt care less about your situation and have zero discretion or reasoning. Shame on anyone who works here. Cant think of a more useless, shameful business.
Customer service was clear and concise, if you need to ring them to ask about your car. The location might be hard to get to, but otherwise stellar service.
If i could give 0 stars i would. Towed car from in front of my driveway that had a visible contractor permit and claimed contractor permit was under the seat and not visible when it was hung on the rearview mirror. Absolutely ridiculous and illegal business practices from this company. Will be reporting to BBB
After comparing towing companies in the area, I noticed that most have ratings of 4 or 5 stars, while Dominion Towing sits much lower. At first, I thought this was simply because people are often upset when their cars are towed. But after experiencing this company for myself and reading through the consistent reviews, I now see that there may be truth behind the accusations of predatory practices.
It feels as though people are not seen as people, but rather as dollar signs to keep the lights on and the doors open. There is a respectable way to run a towing company, but unfortunately, I believe Dominion Towing is missing that mark. I pray for a change — whether it’s in leadership, heart, or in the way the company operates so that Dominion can truly thrive in years to come, not just financially but with integrity and respect for the community it serves.
During my interaction, some employees were rude, though I will acknowledge that a couple of them showed kindness.

We had a delivery to our home, and while the driver was helping us bring items into our condo, Dominion Towing towed his company van in just 35–40 minutes. When we went to pick up the van, the lady working there was extremely rude. Instead of trying to understand the situation, she sat far away from the window and yelled at us in a very unprofessional way. This company is nothing but a money trap that preys on people unfairly.
I'm postpartum and really struggling and my friend was towed from my condo while visiting with me and helping care for my baby. As if this wasn't bad enough, when we went to pick up her vehicle, she was intimidated by the driver for inquiring whether the correct towing method was utilized for the make and model of her vehicle. After she was insulted by the driver, we requested to file a complaint with the manager. "Josh" the manager then proceeded to not only insult her, but also insult me while I stood there with my baby as I tried to pay for my friend's towing fee. When we requested the information of his supervisor, he denied us.
After we paid to get my friend's vehicle back, Josh decided to walk out of the office in what can only be described as an attempt at intimidating is a we left the premises. As my friend drove away with her vehicle, he yelled something at her which I saw because I was driving behind her.
Not only is this uncredited company completely unprofessional, but they also practice intimidation against those who call them out.
I hope and pray that they're shut down soon. No one should have to go through this.
This company towed my car from private property and would not provide me with the location. The secretary who answered the phone didn’t seem to know how to identify the car and bizarrely said he was trying not to laugh when I informed him that there was critical medication in the car. He then said it was probably not there anymore. He then disconnected the call, later lying and claiming I hung up, despite the call being recorded. I had to call police emergency services to finally get the address. I will follow up with a police report if the medication is indeed missing as the receptionist claimed it would be.
I am a social worker and was visiting a client. I have been parking in the same unmarked lot within the apartment complex since October 2024 and have never had an issue. My car was towed last week, as I was unaware that visitors were required to have a parking permit. My client was also unaware of this. I called Dominion Towing to see how to get my vehicle back, and the person that answered the phone was extremely rude and unprofessional. I asked where to go to pick up my vehicle, and they only provided the city, no address. I explained that I had no one to assist me and that they had my purse, so I had no way to pay for anything. The staff person said, "guess you'll have to figure that out." I was just trying to do my job. When I called, I was polite, and I was immediately spoken to with an aggressive tone of voice. I was respectful, it was apparently too much to ask to be treated with respect.
As many others have pointed out, this company engages in predatory towing practices. Their close relationship with the president of the Mount Vee Manor HOA has resulted in a contract that clearly benefits the towing company at the expense of homeowners. This arrangement conveniently allows them to tow vehicles under dubious pretenses, often for minor or unclear violations. It's a pattern of behavior that reflects poorly on both the company and the HOA - unfortunately, nothing new.
The most useless company in my area. He just towed the resident's car without any checking the dashboard sticker. They are always towed after a phone call or listen to others. I parked my car at my residence, and they towed my car and said they have nothing to do such stupid, I mean your card has been towed from your own home. Actually, they should be competitors company otherwise they will make a syndrome or nepotism.
A vehicle in a visitor's parking spot which displayed the correct "visitors" pass was wrongfully towed. We will be reimbursed for towing fees due to the company simply lying and practicing negligence.
Horrible place. I do not recommend anyone to become their client. You will be left without a car and personal belongings that are inside the salon. You will not receive a single certificate about the sale of your car without paying a lot of money.

Got towed outside my home for expire tags. No biggie, I thought, I have temp tags just, waiting on the real tags to arrive by mail. I show up to the tow yard and explain this to the clerk at the window. She tells me doesn't matter because it wasn't displaced on the dash. No where on the temp tags from the DMV does it say that. After some back and forth I realize that I have to get to work and I'm just wasting time arguing. Pay the $200 to get my car back.

I live in Vindsor park, the towing company of Vindsor park abuse too much. My Two cars towed from visitor park per car $230. I asked them to give me proof of the three nights stay at visitor park, but they didn't even give me proof. Sory to say This is a abuse. Rafi Ahmed
This company towed my vehicle from a handicap parking space even though my handicap placard was visible, then the company argues with me about it being a reserved handicap spot when the signage was bent up and if you are not looking, you would not know it’s a reserved spot, no other handicap spots (they were all taken) are reserved. I was charged $200.
They took my car which was between two cars and left the other cars and when I went to take my car I asked them why and they said I parked my car in the yellow line and I had previously taken many pictures and there was no yellow color and I told them that but they did not care about what I said and I told them why did not you take the other cars they were in the same place but they answered me we do not care about the other cars we found your car in the yellow line and I wondered if this yellow line which does not exist is only the length of my car. My experience with them is very very bad they only care about collecting money but I entrusted my matter to God and he will take my right
My loner car was towed last night because it didn't have a visible parking tag, even though it’s possible the pass simply fell off. They didn’t bother looking to see if it fell. After paying to get car out of towing … When I returned to the garage, I noticed other cars without parking permits were still there. It’s confusing why my car was singled out unless someone specifically instructed for it to be towed. It seems clear they were more focused on making money. This is a residential parking garage, and towing a car at the first sign of an issue is unreasonable. I could have just purchased a new car and didn’t have time to get a new pass yet, but the towing was handled far too quickly. I will be reporting this to the property manager, as this situation is completely unsatisfactory.
The worst place possible they continue to tow my hybrid vehicle incorrectly!!! They are so quick to tow your but could care less how!!! They damaged my car last night and never take any fault in process, massive hole is front entrance of yard. Every car that gets towed goes through this crater damaging suspension components and exterior body components!!!
I told a friend of mine to park in our visitor parking lot and I did not read the sign clearly about a visitor pass being needed to park there so there car was towed. I called as soon as I realized there car was towed and they were very helpful and friendly over the phone and in person when we went to retrieve the car from their lot. For dealing with a company in an industry that typically gets a bad reputation, my experience was great.
Doninon towing lorton manager Josh helped me 1/2 cost of Uber to the towing company to pick up my last year towed Honda car and asked me to change my review ( from 1 start to 3 star which I did in front of him) .
I came today to complain last weekend they towed my front wheel drive Toyota Corolla car from the back, they dragged my car from back for 4 to 5 feet (according to their camera as the manager had told me). After the incident, my car started to make strange noise after I drive it and then turn off the car / engine, the manager said it was the noise of my car’s fan, which was not true. It was a completely different noise as a fan running.
Can someone help me to tell what’s the problem of my car about the noise, my car never had such noise before (I can put the noise on YouTube or Facebook which allows video).
I was towed in front of my residents where I've been living for a year. My permit fell off because I have another permit for work. They said it was not displayed properly and cannot go inside the car to check. When I got my car, the car has definitely been driven by another person, my seat position was for a tall person, my packages in the back were crushed by the seat being pushed back and my E-Brake was all the way up. Telling me you don't go into people's cars is common sense, but actually doing it after the fact and taking my car for a joy ride is beyond comprehensible.
Mind you, my car was brand freaking new, and they was able to break the clips of the cover. It frustrates me because the resolution is not said over the kiosk/cashier. I am guilty of where i parked, it's just a matter of when will this be fixed!
They towed our car claiming that the permit was tampered . It was actually the office of our community who gave us that permit.Of course they said it’s not their fault and didn’t attempt to see if they made a mistake on their end . We tried explaining that it was the office who changed the permit but they refused to investigate and made us pay . That b with glasses was really trying to gaslight us.I don’t understand why they couldn’t swallow their pride and accept that we were right and they were wrongfully holding our car .The office had to call them and tell them the permit wasn’t tampered (as we had told them ). This was a great inconvenience that should’ve not happened if they had verified with the community first instead of catching an attitude. If we hadn’t said anything, they would’ve kept the money that they wrongfully charged us for in the first place . I bet you feel really stupid for arguing with us over our car that was legally parked , but yet again I don’t expect people like you to be very knowledgeable or have any manners .
