There's a feeling I get going back home, back to my hometown. "A familial sight, that country smell and rural sounds; delight abounds, friends retell age-old stories by fireside and cabin light." Such is a piece of mind whenever I step into an antique shop, and this one in particular stokes embers of memories hid, but not lost.

Stopped in R&R antiques during a recent afternoon hanging out in G’Town… lots of junk (literally) outside the store does a bit of a disservice to the inventory inside. While there is a lot of junk inside too, there are a few quality pieces that are legitimately “antiques” … the quality stuff is way over-priced IMHO. More of a garage sale than a legit antique store. Staff was friendly!

Some of the BEST finds and the staff is always so sweet and welcoming! Great conversation and great prices too! I also drive over an hour every time and it’s always worth it.

Always a treat to browse & bring back a flood of memories. I have found many items there that have fit my needs. Friendly atmosphere and questions answered immediately. Enjoy!

The moment you walk in, it feels as if you have been catapulted into the early 1900s. Very interesting items placed in such a manner as if you are walking into a house from the pre war era. Would definitely recommend a visit if you’re ever in Georgetown or if you are an avid antique item collector or admirer. The lady at the counter was an absolute sweetheart and answered all of my questions without any hesitation even though she was very busy with work.

I love, love antique shops and Rough and Ready Antiques was an awesome place. The lady that worked at Rough and Ready was so friendly and a wonderful person. God bless her. I usually have a rule where I buy at least two items when I visit an antique store. At Rough and Ready I bought more than two items. Great prices, lots of old-school items, definitely worth a visit.

Georgetown's premier antique store! Awesome and constantly changing stock, they treat folks like family and tolerate us photographers with such patience. I buy tons of chairs and frames here and they are always the best quality!

This antique store is well organized. It has a broad variety of both antiques and collectibles. Though it looks smaller on the outside, it fills a large corner shop filled with goodies in multiple books and crannies. Stop in! Maybe that special treasure is just hiding there waiting for you to discover it!

Nice store, good atmosphere and some cool things. Vendor stalls so there is a wide variety of items. I bought a watercolor and a pencil sketch, both fairly priced. Can’t wait to go back again soon. Easy parking close by!

This is a great antique shop! A wide variety of items and a lot to look at. The only downside is that things were priced fairly high. Definitely higher than I would find for the same item at other shops. But pass at your own risk of not finding the item again. They really had some great pieces.

Cute place! She has a huge selection of stuff! I could get lost in here just looking at the fun finds. There was even a really old allspice can with spice still in it!! ?

Your hours say till 5, seven days a week. Bummer that you start turning off the lights on your customers at 4:25 pm. You were the one shop we chose to patronize after the home tour and we were excited to have one hour to shop. I won’t be back.

Plenty of things to look at and it's easy to lose track of time even though it's not a really big place. We have been there 4 times and have found some really nice things. Definitely worth poking around in to see what you might find.

I frequent this Georgetown,Texas antique store often. Multiple dealers and really interesting finds here. My latest purchase was a World War One, Engineer Compass. All sorts of cool stuff here. Dolls, toys, antique furniture and also sidewalk items like concrete squirrels, bunny, birdbaths, old buckets,,washtubs,etc. Nice place to slow browse.

Very nice stop in historic downtown to browse and treasure hunt. Owners are very friendly and nice! Got me a nice pair of clip on jeweled earrings for $28!! I think quiet a cute place to visit if you are in town!

An enchanting walk through the pages of time. Come, smell the decades while gazing upon their souvenirs. Be transported to simpler times when things made sense, and quality mattered. Seven stars ? ? ? ? ? ? ?, my personal highest rating. In a spending frenzy (4 bags, 2 trips to the car,) I forgot pics ?.

My favorite antique shop in Georgetown. I was visiting the area and wondering the square. The couple at the counter were friendly and very helpful. Just a gold mine!

I love this place and return often. It's fairly large inside, so it takes a while to get through, but not so large that you feel you had to leave before you saw most everything. They have some lovely jewelry in the case up front. One of the best antique stores on the square in Georgetown - the others are overpriced or have underwhelming vendors.

It's the only antique store in Georgetown that actually has lots of antiques to look at. Some things are pricey and some under priced which is good. Most of the stores in the Georgetown Square area are shabby Chic overpriced or dull contemporary
