I am extremely disappointed with this waste management company. Our community, located on the outskirts of Hutto and Georgetown, has effectively been abandoned. There has been no trash pickup for nearly three weeks, yet residents are still being charged for a service that is clearly not being provided. Trash bins are overflowing, calls go unanswered, and there has been no communication or accountability from the company. This level of neglect is unacceptable, unprofessional, and disrespectful to paying customers. Our neighborhood has been completely overlooked, and it is wrong. I sincerely hope there are consequences for this failure, because residents deserve reliable service and basic respect.

ACDI has completely ignored the Florence area, Stillman Valley and Artisans Way specifically. This isn't just a storm thing. That has long past and their history was already not to show up on their assigned day. But, you can drive all the roads in the area and tell we have been abandoned and their response to my cancellation confirms they are NOT interested in our business. It was a quick "ok, we will pick up your cans and refund". How many days till they just say we cannot support the area and give notice of cancellation? Our cans are overflowing. Bags are getting blown and run over, animals are getting into them. ACDI should be responsible for sending out people to pick up ALL of our ditches. So the answer is, call RCI Rose, get your pink can and lets stop paying someone who just cant handle their end of a service contract. Similar pricing for Rose (hope you noticed the recent ACDI increase), who already proved they show up if you have been watching them in the neighborhood. I went online late one night and literally in just a couple of days we have new cans and will be picked up next week. ACDI, clean up your mess. Start acting like a responsible company and send the the business (and money) to the business that WANTS it. ACDI should be ashamed. If they charge any of you for extra bags/cans, dispute it! I am waiting to see how generous they are with their refund on my recent quarterly statement. If they don't do the right thing and credit most of January as well, our credit card company will gladly do the right thing and take that money back.

They sure want payment but has not picked trash up all around shady loop in weeks !!!!!! Trash is overflowing and stinks. Thank god there are other trash service will be switching my moms service soon

This company has been the worst! They had always been good about picking up on the scheduled day. I dont know what's going on but we have been without trash pick up for almost 3 weeks! I have called and called and keep getting conflicting stories as to why we still cant get serviced. This is ridiculous and unprofessional. I have left the manager 4 voicemail with no return call.

They changed our pick up day without telling anyone and by "our" I mean the entire subdivision. No email no letter. I know this from people who were able to get a hold of them, because everytime I call, the phone rings once, then says that person is unavailable. Ive tried every option on their automated system and get the same result. Even after being made aware of their lack of communication, they STILL havent sent anything out. Not the first issue we've had with them, aside from rude employees, this is the last straw. Our trash has been sitting out for 5 days because I dont know when they will get around to providing the service Im paying for.

The absolute worst service for trash pick up, trash cans thrown everywhere in the road every week, skipped an entire week because of weather, changed the website messaging after hours so we couldn't call and complain. Low quality service for a price we are all forced into.

Waste Management is no easy business, but Al Clawson does it right. As a business owner who works will all waste managment providers in Central Texas, I promise that they are on top of their routes better than anybody. Their customer service is always friendly and reliable. We appreciate their team and their consistent pickup!

Let me be very clear: the level of disrespect I experienced from Al Clawson Disposal today is beyond unacceptable. I was calling on behalf of the American Legion in Hutto who just moved into a new facility—yes, the veterans who served this country—regarding their trash not being picked up for the second week in a row. Last week, the issue was handled promptly. This week? A complete disaster. I was connected with Amber, whose attitude alone is enough to make any customer rethink doing business here. From the moment she answered, she was combative, dismissive, and downright rude. I couldn’t get through a single sentence without being interrupted. Every attempt to give context was met with attitude and defensiveness. When I accidentally said, “so when y’all called yesterday,” she snapped back with, “we didn’t call anybody, ma’am,” dripping with hostility, as if she was itching for a fight instead of doing her job. Meanwhile, the American Legion tells me they’ve received no returned calls, no returned emails, no communication at all. And your representative has the audacity to speak to people like this? Is this truly the person you trust as the face of your company? Someone who thinks customer service means cutting people off, escalating tensions, and talking down to callers who are simply trying to resolve an issue? If this is your standard, it explains a lot. Trash may not be getting picked up, but clearly your customer service standards have hit rock bottom. I’ll be filing a formal complaint with the BBB next. This treatment toward veterans—and anyone, for that matter—is disgusting, unprofessional, and absolutely shameful.

First, it was a delight talking to Wendy. So helpful and on time with a replacement issue of damaged cans. Also, I gotta say that the fellas doing the work on the street are amazing. Hard working and very respectful of property. Appreciate the great service!

Going to 5 star for great customer service and immediate actions taken. I called with a problem and Missy B. helped process my incident report and was very helpful and honest about the process. The next day my issue was being corrected and Vincent called me directly to report they were cleaning up the issue not only for my house but he was going to check entire neighborhood. Then the following day Vincent called again to let me know he was out in the neighborhood again double checking that their remedy was working. Very impressed with both of them. Thank you ACDI!!

Giving 3 stars for experiences with customer service so far. Will adjust if I have better experiences. The actual service is reliable, I actually like that they pick up at the same early time then I can put my cans away before I go to work. The issue I had was in actually trying to setup service, which was taking over service for someone else. I requested contact and provided the necessary info three times and it was never changed and never responded to. When I called to follow up the representative was a little abrasive or otherwise curt. She setup service with my name, address, and debit card but was annoyed with my basic question regarding the schedule and how service worked. They didn't thank me for business or offer any info on the service

Although all the recycling trash was in the can, they spilled it over on the road and did not bother to pick up.. I cleaned up and put it back to the trash can, but they did not bother to stop the truck and pick up again..

Called cust service over a partially picked up recycle pick up. Woman ran through possible scenarios but none applied. Only solution presented with an attitude was "oh well we'll get it in 2 weeks" Doesn't surprise me seeing all these negative reviews.

They never pick up recycling, you call and they say they'll send a truck but still never do. They've missed 2 recycling cycles so far... If you plan on recycling, don't plan on it with Al Clawson. *Edit 9/11/25* I've added a star to my review for them finally picking up on the 3rd cycle. Guess third time's the charm, reason only one star and not more is their receptionists who answer the phones come off extremely rude off the bat. I get y'all may get angry customers frequently but y'all's perception and negative reviews won't change till y'all's customer service improves.

The star rating should have a minus sign in front of it for todays experience. I live in a rural part of Salado, approximately 3 miles outside of the village. We are limited to choosing 1 of 2 trash collection services, we chose Al Clawson, big mistake. Since using this trash collection service, we have seen our level of service decline. We have had to clean up trash left in the road, and along our right of way in front of the house on more than one occasion because the guys working the back of the trash truck were to lazy to pick up what they spilled onto the roadway. Several months ago they even broke the lid off of the trash container by slamming it back and forth on the automated dumping device on the back of the trash truck. Granted this type of work is not for everyone, but if you choose to do the job, then do it right. It's what you're paid to do!! Todays experience with Al Clawson picking up our trash, ended with my trash container being thrown down in the ditch along my neighbors fence. Again, this is not the first time I've had to retrieve my trash can as it laid in the ditch after it was emptied. I've witnessed the trash guys literally shove the cans to the side of the road to wherever they end up standing or laying. On one occasion I had to pull my trash can out of the traveled portion of the roadway so a passing car/truck would not collide with it. After retrieving my trash can from the ditch today, I couldn't help but notice all of my neighbors AL Clawson labeled trash cans were standing upright at the end of their driveways. My driveway has a paved, nearly twenty foot wide entryway, (see photo) why couldn't my trashcan be placed somewhere within that area instead being shoved into a ditch to the side of my property??? I have really tried to be patient in hopes of a better experience with Al Clawson's trash service, but it just doesn't seem to be getting any better.

Haven’t had much of an issue before the last month or so. The last two weeks they missed our recycling. When emailed the next time we got a blunt response the next day “just put it out today.” No explanation, no apology. Now they have completely forgotten our trash. And conveniently, their office closes at 4:30 so by the time you get home and see trash is still there, they are already closed. It’s not just my house. They are missing entire streets in our neighborhood. And they are the only option for disposal services. This is ridiculous.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Recently moved to Hutto and set up utilizes June 27th which was when trash bins were ordered. It is now July 28th and we still have not gotten them. I’ve called multiple times and emailed and no answer. Last week I was told they placed a rush order and they would be delivered between 2-3 business days. I’m extremely frustrated as we’ve had no way to dispose of trash for the last 30 days!

Trash bins are left way away from the curb, tops are left open ! Trash is picked up early which is great, but recycle is picked up very late afternoon. As of now 4:15 pm still not picked up ? Way to much of a difference in time frame. Last week after 5pm l brought my bin back. I worked on a trash crew and we followed one another. This allows the customer to grab both bins in the same time. So as not chasing after them 8 hours apart.

This company has horrible service. They make you wait till the following week and just offer extra courtesy bags when they make it out again next Thursday. When they don't take your trash. No, how bout a courtesy pickup the following day. And don't get me started on the chick that answers the phones, she's dead weight. Hire people that actually care and not cut you off, because it's an inconvenience to their day. Way too many complaints, Do better!!!!

Came here for the first time to pay for the term payment and it went fairly smoothly and got it done within 5 mins! I wanted to know the certain instructions for trash between blue and green bins and they taught me kindly. Cool stuffs

My parents have had service with this company literally FORTY years. (My husband and I have also had service with them for many years at the same location.) They USED to be great (and answer the phone). We live halfway down the hill on FM 3405 and for FORTY YEARS they have come down our driveway where there is plenty of room to turn around to pick up trash for 3 homes. Now they are demanding that we take our cans to the top of the driveway which will certainly eventually cause an accident when they stop on a limited sight road. People generally FLY down this road and when an accident happens, I will say "I told you so".

Honestly we have had nothing but issues with Al Clawson. Last week they didn’t take our trash at all because they were too worried about keeping cool car signs our neighbor put out, so I called and spoke to the office manager who informed me that we would be allowed to put out 3 extra bags this week and noted our account so they would take them. So we did as she said , and lo and behold, they did NOT take them. ANY OF THEM. I called and spoke to the manager again to tell her and she said she’d try to get ahold of the control center. Along with that our trash day pick up is on Tuesdays and they never show up on Tuesday so it’s always Wednesday or Thursday. Save yourself the trouble and go with a different trash company if you can. We canceled our service today

They have skipped our trash two times this month and the trash is still on the curb as of right now!! The smell is awful!! it’s just ridiculous!!! Every body else trash is picked up. Just do your job you get paid for it. I can’t stand lazy people.

My complaint is not about when or how they pick up the trash. It is about what they do after they empty the trash can; they leave them on the road, creating a traffic hazard. I live on a heavily traveled county road and it makes it impossible for two cars to pass when the are meeting. One of the cars has to stop. I have had one individual drive up to my house to tell me that my trash cans are in the road. I have called Clawson’s several times; called just last week and was told that they will tell the driver. Well, that did a lot of good; in fact, it made things worse, the garbage cans were left further out in the road. I have told the person I talk with that I don’t care if they throw the garbage cans in the ditch, just get them off the road and stop creating traffic hazards.

Wow. I can’t believe that this company’s workers sheer laziness and garbage policies for a 3 inch lid rise. My garbage cans lid blew open from the wind and it was hanging down. There a was an EMPTY box in the bin which resulted in about 3 or 4 inches of added height. They refused to take my garbage since the box was sticking out. There was a foot inches of space from the trash to the rim. This is ridiculous. Now I am sitting on almost a full bin for another week paying this company for nothing. There have been several instances of this type of behavior and it’s uncalled for. Since this is the only company in my area I have no choice but to deal with them. I would of left them a LONG TIME ago wasting money. They pick and choose which bins to take based on their mood for the day. Now I will have overloaded trash from this week that will be sitting and not be able to fit in the bin which will result in the SAME ISSUE which will cause the feral cats to rip into the bags on the exterior of the bin. My neighbor is FAR worse and their trash is taken. Please lord, send another garbage company during this expansion of Georgetown. I am infuriated right now. If I could put ZERO stars I would. PS they offer no recompense or discount from their behavior on the matter and have no system to keep the sanitation workers liable.

Reliably unreliable for pickup. Trucks broken, other issues have pushed service without any notice, leaving trash on the street for an extra day at the risk of being fined by HOA for leaving cans out. Consistently leaves cans in the middle of my driveway, not sure why it's so hard to flip a can into a truck and leave it there. Maybe if they had enough workers and trucks they wouldn't have such inconsistent service and wouldn't be in such a rush that they drag cans 10' into the middle of the driveway while trying to dump them.

I paid for trash services to begin in November and I still have not received any trash services picked up at my home. I have called this scam company multiple times to report their failure to pickup my home trash. I was told they would be their and they failed to come to my home. This company is a scam so please beware. They have taken my money and have not performed any trash services to my home. I will be contacting Santa Rita Ranch HOA and my bank to let them know about this scam company immediately. I only gave 1 star because I had to in order to post the review.
