Quick service. Was there for about an hour because there was someone ahead of me but actual inspection was quick. People were friendly to me on the phone and in person. Keep in mind this is a cash only place and you need your documents printed out ahead of time or theres a fee. Also keep in mind you pay even if you fail
Super pricey; an inspection is $100 cash. No credit cards or checks accepted. They charge $5 to print out your registration and $5 for insurance card if you don’t have a physical one. Other places I visited in the vicinity (7)charged $70, and they will print out your info and make you a copy free.
Went there for an inspection. They got me in and out without hesitation. Kind and fast service! I’ll definitely be going back for all my inspections from now on. Look for the dog working out on the treadmill!!

Great place. Been here for inspection twice and they’re very straight to the point. This year I came back after inspection with new brake pads and they replaced them for $60. They also replaced my oil and filter (purchased and brought myself) upon my request that same time as the brake pads. All of those repairs took less than 30 minutes total

Been going here since I was 16 year old, but not anymore, went on October 31 for inspection and failed for "being to low" So I raised my car up. November 7 went back to get inspection and immediately failed for car being to loud without checking my car. Walked up and Owner was like ur failed leave with a rude attitude but yet they passed my car for 2 years straight without an problem. But Yet Everyone in Allentown Got loud and lower cars.
Very trustworthy and work quick. I came in with a hole in my car and they told me to come back after its fixed, didn't even charge me for it. Would come here again. $60 payment for inspection, cash only.
First off walking onto the property and meeting the owner was outstanding and remind you of old school service respect and out of this world.
Took my car to go get inspected told me what it needs and he took care of it right away I was there for a little bit but it was well worth it seeing all the customers coming in he's saying hi and I guess he also had some working with him great family business that this gentleman is running keep up the good work.

Very great experience for car inspection. I called and they said first come first served. The gentlemen there explained everything and got me in and out as quickly as possible.

Very knowledgeable fair price doesn't overcharge upfront in regards to the price the problems how to handle it also any suggestions and for any reason they're not capable of fixing it are handling the problem he will refer you to someone just as good that he believes in their work I like it kind of family oriented family-run been in business for years I've been dealing with them since a teenager and they've never changed always kept it legit upfront honest amazing service he could trust the mechanics that are hired there
This place has always been very dependable and quick. No appointment required. I started taking my cars here for my Inspection/Emmisaions about 4 years ago and never went elsewhere again. I recommend everyone I know to take their vehicles here as well. They are very fair and to the point they don't mess with you as far as trying to get you on anything they can think of, or Make up, or make happen to your car. They are always nice, fast, and trustworthy. I will continue bringing my vehicles here where I can trust they are not out to make more money on me when nothing is actually wrong with my vehicle.
The Owner said the car I got was good to go no issues what so ever.. but since I got this car from them it gave me problems from day 1. I said to the owner I cant afford to spend the last money I have on a car that is going to break down on me as i have a family of 6 to support.. I trusted his word and believed the other reviews.. if I could give 0 stars I would and he said if anything come up they would take care of it but then tried to charge me... due yourself a favor please find elsewhere to purchase your car... I was disappointed and now left without a car and no money to fix or get a new one...
Everyone in my family and I have been coming here for years and I would never even consider going anywhere else. I highly recommend Four J's to anyone looking for a down-to-earth, personable, honest, upstanding, respectful and skilled garage. I've never heard a single negative remark about work ethic, quality or even the pace they work at, absolutely nothing. They deserve way more than 5 stars and I promise you will never find a shop as well rounded as J and his crew. These guys are so awesome my truck failed inspection and I still left laughing with a smile on my face. If this sounds too good to be true just walk in and prove yourself wrong.
