Predatory is an understatement. It is a 14 min drive from the impound lot to where I was parked. My car was impounded exactly 14 mins after I parked. The owner is stalking a camera and pouncing on anyone he can get and holds their car hostage until they pay a ridiculous fee. I parked in a vacant lot due to my foot being broken and needed to be close to my vehicle. I was gone for 15 mins and it cost me $500.
The owner was very rude and hostile, he hung up on me before telling me where my car was. When I called him back he asked me if I had "called my Dad" and said "Your car is mine until Monday"I had to get police involved to get the location of my car.
The owner reluctantly met me at the impound lot after hanging up on me several times, only coming because I had important medication in my car. Despite reviews online of him letting people go with their car on a Saturday, he did not do that with me. I explained to him how I live two hours away and have no way to get home or go to work without my car, he smirked. He refused to give me my car on Saturday and charged me $75 on both Sunday and Monday for keeping my car.
I had to take a day off of work and get back to Allentown. The owner continued to be rude to me. He only accepted cash and would not release my car until I signed a release saying I would not sue him. I felt trapped and signed the release under distress. After paying him in cash and signing the release, he then gave me a joke of a receipt that was riddled with typos and random fees. The cost was $500 even. He refused to give any explanation on pricing.
I have never felt more violated and prayed on. I cannot understate how hostile the owner was. Taking my car from a vacant lot as fast as he could, refusing to give it back on Sat but charging me Sun and Mon, price gouging, holding my car hostage until I signed a release. How is Allentown allowing this predator to operate? Reader, please share your story. No human should be treated like this.
Literal Scammers. Parked at Wendy’s, got food and when I came back my car was gone. Charged me $500 just to get it back then when I was leaving the guy said “I want to buy you lunch” because I was being respectful. Absolute joke of a company and a literal scam. Got the cops involved, and he dapped up the guy working there like they were homies then the cop said “yea they do this all the time.” Pretty pathetic they’re allowed to stay open
E&N towing offers great services. It is a family owned business and I would recommend it to anyone in need of those services. Calls are always answered. Customer service is bilingual which is a PLUS! The owner is very understanding and straightforward. You can schedule an appointment which makes things easier for both the company and clients. Give them a try you won’t regret it!
My daughter’s car was towed. I called and was told $425 to pick it up. When asked for an itemized bill prior to paying, I was told they don’t do it that way. If they cannot be upfront about pricing prior to paying you know it is a scam. Normal tow costs are around $80-$225 in the area.
Update.. Went to pick up my daughter’s car. The place looks like a junkyard. We were waiting 15 minutes ringing the bell (it does not work). We had to call. Danny was absolutely rude, again we asked for an itemized bill. He refused. We reluctantly paid him (he only accepts cash). He then produces a receipt that looks like it came off of a Google template. It was not itemized at all. We are making formal complaints just for the price gouging and the horrible customer service. Not to mention the shady way they procure these cars for profit. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. 0/10 recommend.
I would give 0 stars if I could, they sit a block away idling with their parking lights on just waiting for you to park where you shouldn’t, they towed my truck in less than 5 minutes of me parking at the Wendy’s at 306 Broadway so BEWARE! Bethlehem doesn’t care about tourism, they only care about impounding your vehicle, I was there with my family for dinner because my son was in the ICU at St Luke’s, they didn’t care, E&N manager pretended to do me a favor by allowing me “the favor” of getting my vehicle back on Saturday night instead of making me wait until Monday morning, but still charged me $450 cash, I’m sure a cut of this went to local police and/or Wendy’s store manager, it’s a coordinated effort, DO NOT go to downtown Bethlehem, consider yourselves warned, it’s not worth it!!!
Rude, hostile, and intimidating. Damage to cars evident, dirty storage conditions, improperly placed signs at lots they manage, and in general just a poorly run business. If you must interact with them, document everything, record videos of their behavior, and appeal every tow.
The worse tow in the city of Allentown Pennsylvania, they take you car away witout any legal matter to operate in my he city, and they charge you $475 by day, the city of Allentown newd to inspect this company as soon as possible to see any illegal matter they operate.
Abusive and dishonest people
They are completely abusive. They work together with Hyman Properties and tow residents’ cars without any valid reason. Then, to get your car back, they demand $250 in cash, so you have no way to dispute or prove the payment. On top of that, they are extremely rude and treat people with zero respect. The way they operate is truly shameful.
