This is a fair priced dump they have multiple areas to get rid of construction debris, trash, and concrete. The bad part about this dump from my experience is catching flat tires and they do not accept landscape debris. Price is $46 ton now just recently changed 2025

No charge to drop off e-waste. Easy to access and no problems dropping off waste. Just follow the signs and directions from the workers on site.

They have changed the layout of how to get in and where things are. People were friendly and very helpful!!!

Bad customer service!!!!! I’ve reached out to ask for pricing. 1st I got hung up on then I called back immediately got a answer and then got passed off to another person with an attitude then sent to a voice mailbox that is full. So I didn’t not get any information and couldn’t leave mine to get a call back.

I was told if I had more than what could fit into the blue bin, I could place the rest neatly near the blue bin. I did that and watched the recycle truck pick up the bin with the arm and didn't even bother getting out to put the cardboard boxes, that were broken down and placed in larger boxes, into the back of the truck.

This dump SUCKSSSS!!! They put there hours online and when we got there at 11:30 they clpsed the gate on us and wouldn’t let us in to dump our trash. No one came out and spoke to us. Just closed the gate. We couldn’t turn around with our trailer because their road is narrow. So they left us stuck in the road backing up all the way down the road because they wouldn’t open the gate to even let us turn around. I wouldn’t recommend going here, they clearly just wanna avoid doing any work.

Staff was so rude from a previous visit i video this time I went it's like every employee is in charge every employee givedyou mixed directions the guy on the dozer block me in and called the cops on me because I interrupted him I felt threatened and intimidated and still have the trash on my trailer they trespassed me from the property. I recorded all their actions. What a waste of resources also this unhinged guy didn't let me pass to get out parked his big 20 ton dozer in front of me

It's not a bad place to use, assuming you don't have to deal with the older lady near the containers. She is just such an absolutely horrid person. Everytime I go I just pray I don't have to deal with her. I don't know what she even does there as a position because all she's ever doing is walking around the container area waving her hands around and cursing at customers, employees, the sky, whatever has her set off at that moment. Like please, just get rid of her already and save everyone from dealing with her another moment. Obviously she isn't happy there either, so do everyone the favor.

I used this facility back in January 2024 and just getting around to submitting a review. The scaling process was not properly setup for a first time users to understand which lane to use prior to reaching the scales itself and I ended up stuck in the wrong lane. The scaler lacked interpersonal skill and I was directed to go all the way back to the end of the line. However, once I got passed the inbound scaling process, the staff working the designated collection area were a lot more customer friendly, professional and helpful. Great facility, but the scaler needs training on how to interact with customers.

Today was the first time that I’ve ever been to this dump. There were no signs. I drive up and the woman is extremely rude to me. Acting like I should know which lane I should be in when there are no signs. I told her I’d never been there before. She is a horrible communicator. So I get into the correct lane. She continues to have a horrible attitude toward me. She takes my money and then acts like I’m supposed to know where I’m supposed to go. I told her I’ve never been here before I don’t know what I’m doing. She turns back to the computer and I start to get into my car because it’s freaking hot and she’s left me standing there already for at least three minutes while she does other things before she takes my money so I’m getting back into the car to the air conditioner and she’s like excuse me, ma’am I have to tell you something and I said “keep talking. I’ve got the window down. I’m trying to get into the air conditioner.” I decided to grab the phone number to place a complaint about her and in the process of doing that she gets back on her and wants to know why I’m still sitting there. It hadn’t even been 30 seconds. Super rude. And she had the fruit of the spirit on her T-shirt. Good grief.

The 2 guys in the front weigh-in/payment area were nice and helpful. Upon dumping trash the very dark skinned driving heavy machinery guy pushing the trash was very rude. Not sure what his ordeal was but he needs to go elsewhere with his attitude towards people trying to get in to dump trash as it was not an easy area to get to and from especially your first time there.

Staff is rude. Makes trying to recycle not even worth it. And I have to drive across town. Fayetteville taxes are too high for this not to be included in trash pickup and heaven forbid we want to compost.

For a dump they do a good job. It’s organized and clean other than the land fill but that’s to be expected. Only issue we have is how expensive it is.

I would like to take the time to thank ALL the staff at the landfill!! The ones behind the glass at the weight station and driving equipment. Staff is always very helpful and kind job will done!
Sep 05, 2023 -
I come here everyday, and sometimes I get to the landfill at 3:40pm, and by then there's always this dude making guard so no one goes in because they want to close by 4pm, knowingly that I dump my trash pretty quick because I have dump trailers he still won't let me go in before they close. Good landfill just lazy people that don't want to work 10 extra minutes

I was able to recycle 4 mattresses, two kitchen tables and a living room couch here amongst a few other items for a small fee. The process was rather easy and the people who worked there were very helpful.

They have a ridiculous amount of rules. It’s never the same when you come. Sometimes they’ll charge a $5 minimum to a debit card when it’s less than 5 without making you pay cash. The blond lady with a Karen cut is extremely rude every time we come. Needs an attitude adjustment. Not everyone who comes is automatically supposed to know everything
Apr 18, 2023 -
They have so many rules your just supposed to automatically know about. Certain color trash cans. Trash picked up once a week and now find out lid has to he closed within 6 to 8 inches to be picked up. Lots of other problem with them. Not long ago took some stuff to the place downtown only to have some guy flag us down at 1 pm saying they are closed with no explanation. Guess we will have to print out all the rules so we can learn all regulations. Just would be nice if this was communicated by them better.

Aside from the usual ‘everybody is nice’ reviews, how about changing/shift your hours for people who are gone at work M-F? This has to be the only dump barely open on Saturday…and Sunday? I go to church but many of us still work on a Sunday.

This place has changed a little since COVID. They are far more organized and far more clean for a trash place. They have more employees who have helped me with direction since they changed their layout. I'm happy they are open on the weekend again. It helps a lot. Big thanks to the lady that helped me understand how to separate my items properly. I have common sense, but when you have deck wood, wood from furniture, children's toy cars, plastic slides, metal with electric stuff inside of it, and just more random stuff, I was confused about where the right place for things to go was. Also glad to see the price hasn't changed even tho they upgraded 20$ for all POV.

Everybody's nice. This location accepts furniture, household junk and trash, wood and demolition debri, concrete and bricks, and more, and you can also bring electronics, appliances, metal, cardboard, etc for recycling. You can drop off your personal household trash and recyclables for free, however be aware that they charge for other stuff. Update: they have replaced the giant trash bins with compactors which not only slows stuff down but also gone are the days of going there to drop off my junk and looking in the dumpster and finding awesome stuff 😂-- over the years I have found money, antiques, boxes of PlayStation and Xbox games and ataris and old collectible vinyl records and boxes of baseball cards and comic books and everything else you can imagine--now it all gets crushed! That.Sucks! Otherwise, no problems. As mentioned above, all of the ladies and others at the weigh station are super nice 👍, great service.

Once you learn how the set up is, this place is pretty streamline. Prices are fair. I like the people there at the scale because they are helpful and friendly. Makes my job easier when I have to go.
Mar 24, 2021 -
Whoever i spoke with needs an attitude adjustment, and the pricing is ridiculous, $20 if in a truck, but by weight if on a trailer? There shouldnt be a difference. First time people shouldnt be charged. My opinion.

Hours posted on website and on signage are not accurate. Have driven to location 3 times to dump- closed on Saturday 4/18/20 but website said open, voice message for phone initially states open regular hours but then if you listen to entire message states closed on Saturday- a dump closed on a Saturday??? Today (4/20/20) dump randomly closed at 2:45 pm- although website posts hours of operation until 4:00 pm. Inconvenient and inconsistent hours equal frustration!

I have only been here once, but I have to say the people were so friendly and helpful. I was dropping off plastic and glass recycling and disposing of a microwave. They answered my questions and pointed me in the right direction each time. They even helped me lift that heavy microwave out of my car. Nice guys!

Overall this is a great dump. They just need to add to their website that they close at 3:45 and not 4:00 for people in their own vehicles downloading materials. Nothing is more frustrating than getting there before 4:00 and they don’t let you in. We have to work as well and cannot get off hours early. Thanks.

Went there and they can't keep the dump area free of debris , they don't set the dozer blades down and scrape a little earth when piling dumps this means you are driving over every nail and screw that had been dumped previously, I left there with two side wall punctures. On two different tires. That 80 dollar dump cost me 400 plus in new tires save yourself the trouble go somewhere else

In terms of the people doing the job. They deserve 5 stars. In terms of paying ever increasing taxes and being forced to pay to dump materials that we have paid taxes for? The city gets zero stars. A truck load is $20.00 on top of the taxes paid to city for same thing... Who ever believes that their party is for lower taxes or more benefits is smoking something.

It may seem weird to rate a "dump," but hey - a good experience is a good experience. After Hurricane Matthew ravaged many homes in the area, all those flooded household goods had to go somewhere. It was a sad situation, but as we stepped up to help local families through a tough period, the staff at Cumberland County Recycling made each trip easy and kept things organized.
