We’ve used Travis and Alden Automotive numerous times over the last few years for repair work, service work, inspections, tire patches, new tires for trucks and trailers, etc etc. We continue to return and give our business to Alden Automotive as we’ve never been let down and always been treated fairly there.

After setting up our campsite at the local state park (Thursday) the check engine light came on. Friday, I went to Advance Auto, whose computer showed a problem with rich fuel. They recommended Alden Automotive, so I stopped there. Travis came out and checked out the truck. After test drive and computer check, said I needed O2 sensors and thermostat replaced. Said he could do the work on Monday, but being in town for a softball tournament, that wasn’t going to work for me. Travis said that if he could get the parts, he’d try to have it done By end of day Friday. I didn’t even get to him until after 12:30p! Travis and his team (Sandy and Jason) got the parts and he finished the work at 1am and I was able to get to the tournament at 8a!!! Amazing customer service for someone they had never met. Highly recommend and appreciate Travis and his team!!!!

Travis is awesome and truly cares and come through, I had quite a bit of work done on my jeep compass another shop took almost 3 weeks after being towed in had it brought over here and in 2 days all the work was done and he even helped me out because I work overnights highly recommend

Called on a Thursday for an oil change Friday. They took me in at 9 am! Friendly fast service!

Flashing check engine light came on two nights before we were leaving for vacation. Travis was able to get us in the next morning. Diagnosed the problem, got the part in and repaired the vehicle that day. Gave us some sound advice on maintaining the vehicle moving forward as well. We left on time for our trip and no issues since. He literally saved the day. Will definitely be back and highly recommend!

THE BEST… I recently had my entire engine rebuilt at Alden Automotive, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the service. After calling over 15 different shops and being turned down by all of them, I was starting to lose hope. Then I called Alden Automotive and spoke with Travis. Right from the first phone call, he was incredibly straightforward and professional. He laid out exactly what needed to be done, how they were going to do it, and gave me a clear timeline for when I could expect the job to be completed. Throughout the entire process, their communication was top-notch. Travis kept me informed every step of the way, and I could tell he and his team had extensive knowledge and experience with engine rebuilds. The planning and execution were flawless, and I felt confident my vehicle was in the best hands. I have changed my own brakes for years, and I wish I could upload a photo of what Alden automotive considered almost "metal on metal" 50% life left on the brake pads is not even close. I understand wanting to drum up business, but this is not the way to get a repeat customer. I must admit he did patch my tire nicely for $40.

Not a good place to go too overpriced and will ruin your car. Went there a few times because it was convient living in Alden got new rotors put in just to have to replace them 2 months later. Got an oil change and the guy who did it messed it up and didn’t know anything about oil changes ended up leaking oil just a Month later and had to get it re done they’re just there for your money not your best needs. Problems keep arising with my car since taking my car there. Mechanic didn’t follow regulation with the cars manual and had my tire pressure set to 50 on each tire. Highly recommend not taking your car there for your best interest. All they care about is your money. They will mess up your car just to get more money in their pockets. If you live in Alden go somewhere else

I will never recommend Alden Automotive again, if any thing just the opposite. Do NOT go there. I recommended them to my daughter for a NYS Inspection and wipers. She confirmed her appointment, they called her by name and said to drop off any time and use the key drop off box. She did, Friday morning before work. She never heard from then again, and was at work and admittedly forgot to check herself. When she arrived at 5:07PM, they were closed as expected. Her car had been moved, to the front of the building, her keys were in plain sight on the passenger seat, and NOT ONE BIT OF WORK WAS DONE!! Absolutely ridiculous! No communication, no work completed!! What a joke, needless to say, there will be no repeat business or recommendations. It's unfortunate we didn't read the other reviews and the one BBB review, could have saved us some time and total frustration! Save your time and stress, and go some place else!!

Go elsewhere for any automotive repairs! Messed up everything they took apart . Intake wasn't connected to the throttle body, over filled my coolant Reservoir to the top when it's only supposed to be in the middle so it ended up over pressurizing spraying everywhere ( not even something they should have messed with ) and have wire connectors freely hanging. Then just stupid things this my steering wheel cover was removed and thrown on the passanger floor (like why was is removed and why wasn't put back on?)the price for the job was insanely overpriced. When told about issues he basically didn't care and was an &($$%&$$ when questioned on cost not adding up to the job and parts. Gave one star because you can't give zero,

We’ve used Alden Automotive multiple times in the last few years. Multiple vehicle inspections, tire purchases, brake jobs and correcting a check engine light. Polite, prompt service. Always handled properly the first time.

Do Yourself a favor and look elsewhere if you have any kind of technical diagnostic work to be done ✔ they'll just just throw the overpriced parts cannon at it hoping it cures the problem. Or in my case charge you for a part only to find it runs the same way as you took it in ?. Probably ok for oil changes tires and overpriced brakes.but Nothing technical that they might diagnose.

My wife recently brought in her Kia Rio here and asked them to give us a quote on the brakes and then do an inspection and oil change. They quoted us $1100 for a break job, oil change, and inspection. They said it was so high due to shipping the parts. I bought the brakes myself for $350. When I went to pick up the car to take it elsewhere for service they charged me $21 for the inspection when we asked them to give us a quote before doing anything. On top of that it took them over a half an hour just to cash me out and get me my keys. Can’t really speak on the quality of their work but this wasn’t a great experience.

I have never had a worse experience with any business. They’re mismanaged and completely unprofessional. I would highly recommend taking your lawn mower and/or vehicles elsewhere. After a list of issues, in the end I was overcharged and requested to speak with the owner to provide an opportunity to make things right. Instead the mechanic, Travis, who claimed to be the owner, was outrageously rude and hung up on me. Everything about this business is wrong.

My name is Sarah my google account would not let me leave a review so I am leaving one off my boyfriends! I ran into some very serious car trouble this past weekend too terrified to even keep driving it but I made it to Alden Automotive where Travis very graciously greeted me and reassured me they will take care of everything! I was supposed to be seen Wednesday but he checked my car out first thing Monday morning and gave me an extremely fair estimate for a full break job front and back & an oil change. I was so thrilled with the prompt manner and fair price! They even had my car ready by the end of the day Monday! I will be referring everyone I know to Alden Automotive as they went above and beyond to help me in a very stressful time. Thank you!

Highly recommend. I drive over an hour to have these guys do my work. Raised my Jeep and lowered my Stang. Wheels and tires on two Jeeps, my Mustang, and my 535i. Super charger on the Stang. Thanks Jeremy and Brian!

I'm sure he is okay at oil changes* Be weary of anything else. My dad warned me. He said he had them check his car before a long trip, and his breaks went out during. I just needed a simple switch, it was close. I figure he couldn't mess that up; nope. I was very wrong. Not only was there an "issue with the number" (I admit the first time I gave him the wrong number). The second time however, was just odd. He also claimed the part wasnt on time. It would be there Thursday or Friday. It was Monday at noon. Still no phone call. I called to confront, and he told me to take it up with Mazda. Thats almost verbatim. The worst part was the deductible. Either as a 23 y/o I understand deductible legality better than him or he was being sneaky. Either way, not good. Mine is $100. He tried charging me $124. Said it was tax... Tax is 8.75%. That would be 108.75 not $124. I have all this recorded and am taking it to the BBB. That's a scam. If you're a shop owner and you dont know that. You shouldnt be working on cars. I can understand EVERYTHING else. I cannot understand that. Not acceptable, nor good business. In all, the whole experience was awful. It is close and convenient. After this experience; I wouldn't trust him personally. * Google just sent me a message and I saw your responce... Just wanted to update you that I took it to mazda. There was nothing wrong with my switch, it was a wire. I also called my insurance company. They explained how a deductible works; I've attached a photo to show you in case

I am a very pleased customer! I typically take my car to the Chevrolet dealership, although my dad recommended I take it to a nearby automative shop since he feels their prices are more reasonable and the people are more trustworthy. Well, this place definitely exceeded my hopes and expectations. They did a thorough assessment of my car and kept me apprised throughout the repair process, tackling the minor issues before the (potentially) more serious issues in order to identify the problem and make it as cost-effective as possible - as opposed to raising unnecessary concern for issues that the dealership can exaggerate. Moreover, Alden Automative worked swiftly to finish the repairs on my car and saved me ~ $600 for fixing the same problem that the dealership estimated for a much higher price. I will definitely be returning whenever I have any car problems again. Highly recommend these people to anybody!

Jeremy has been our mechanic since we moved to Alden a couple years ago. Prices are very reasonable, he won't rip you off like a lot of other mechanics seem to do. Service is awesome. We are always in and out of the shop in no time.

Originally found the shop on Tire Rack as a Top rated shop. I had 4 tires mounted and balanced, 2 separate visits. Jeremy, the owner, seems like a laid back guy. He has the Hunter machine that did not damage my Alloy rims, which was the main reason I went to him

They got my oil change done quickly even without me having an appointment (also very polite about me stopping in without an appointment.) After calling around they were the cheapest in the area. Great experience; will come again.

Jeremy has always been very honest with me. I have been coming here for approximately 15 years and have been very pleased with his work, prices and most of all his honesty! I would not go to any other place to service my Vehicle!

Great service! I needed and out of town repair and was staying at Darien Lake. I did a review search and found the great reviews and an owner that seemed to care! I even dropped in short notice and they still found some time the same day to help me out. Wi-Fi available and great selection of K-cups coffee. They even gave me a lift back to the park so I didn't miss out on an afternoon of rides! Jeremy and the gang are top notch!

I got a flat and I needed my tire repaired quickly and so they made room in their schedule to help me out. Location is close to home and very convenient. I would highly recommend Alden Automotive.
