These guys are life savers Lost the main air line on my truck parked me on the side of the road out in the middle of nowhere called at least 15 different places to get some help no luck. Then someone gave me A-1’s number and they came right away to the rescue got me up and rolling and didn’t kill me with the bill. Very much appreciate these guys.

The owner was so nice when I called. The previous mechanic I called ghosted me for 24 hours in 97 degree heat after promising he would come back in the morning. Jake showed up within one hour and fixed my issue quickly and got me back on the road. Jake was so kind and talked with me about my travels while repairing my issue. The boss of the company made sure I was taken care of swiftly after the other company I had called dropped the ball. Thanks so much! I made it back home to Chicago safely last night thanks to the repairs.

Yes, maybe I wasn’t perfect in this situation. But are all the people leaving similar complaints wrong too? Are we all making it up? The truth is, this business seems to see out-of-town drivers as easy targets. Throughout my ordeal, I witnessed dismissive behavior, racial remarks about my driver’s English, and refusal to accept normal forms of payment—just to keep my truck hostage for days. I won’t stay silent. I’ll speak up—for myself, and for everyone else who’s been mistreated. And yes, I’m pursuing this matter through legal channels. ⭐ 1 Star “Deceptive, disrespectful, and abusive. Read this before you trust them with your truck.” I am the owner of the truck . On May 19, 2024, my truck broke down and I contacted A1 Enterprises of WNY in Alden, NY. They promised roadside help and said the truck would be fixed within 1–2 hours if towed to their shop. That was a complete lie. For several days, no one touched the truck. They stopped answering my calls. I requested an invoice at 9 AM, received it at 3:30 PM, and was charged $4,300 for repairs that were never performed. I paid only because they held my truck hostage, and I was desperate. Still, they did not release the truck. After a second payment ($2,515), they kept delaying. They were closed for the weekend, then remained closed on a holiday. My truck was not released until June 8, and they charged me a total of $8,042.16 for minimal work. I also had to pay for flights, hotel stays, and lost income. The owner was aggressive, rude, and made inappropriate comments about my driver not speaking English. This had nothing to do with the repairs — it was disrespectful and unprofessional. ? This business is abusive, dishonest, and dangerous. They take advantage of out-of-town truckers, overcharge for fake repairs, and stall for days while refusing to communicate. They flood Google with replies to make themselves look professional, but the real story is in the pattern of complaints from people like me. I wish I had read the reviews before trusting them. ❗ If you are a trucker, do yourself a favor: Stay far away from A1 Enterprises. They cost me thousands and weeks of stress. To keep the truck in their shop they refused to accept EFS, Comcheck, Zelle, Debit Card and Credit Card. They did not even allow driver to make payment. They told me to come and pay with cash, I was very far away to do that and that was a friday. They usually 24 hours or open to late hours but that day he told me they closed at 4pm and come back Monday, and then told me don't come Monday because its memorial day. They kept my truck for 5 days which I asked to release Friday 11AM, he told me he is putting truck together until 3:30pm and then gave me hard time with payment and closed the shop for 5 days.

I was referred to Bill, owner of A1 Enterprises of WNY about a DEF system issue. I called and was told by Bill to come on over and they’d take a look at it. When I arrived, I explained to one of the mechanics that I was there to speak with Bill. The mechanic advised he (Bill) was currently under the dump truck out in the lot but would be with me asap. I knew at that point what type of outfit this was. Long story short, Bill spent a good portion of the next four days thurs thru Sunday meticulously searching for the issue, ultimately solving it, discovering and resolving an issue created by the initial issue and clearing up a cruise control issue in the process. The level of knowledge, attention to detail, interpersonal skills, frankness and honesty is unparalleled in my ten years of time on the road. Needless to say, I’ll be utilizing A1 Enterprises of WNY for ALL of my trucking needs. From PM’s to emergencies Bill will be the first person I call on. And oh yeah, he did all of this between multiple road calls and the entire weekend. I also believe I heard him arranging lodging for a stranded driver! If you’re looking for knowledge, effort, honesty and NO b.s. call A1 Enterprises of WNY and ask for Bill!

Bill did a fantastic job with my truck. I started with the company I work for back in January. The truck has had issues that I kept asking about from the start. Finally it got to the point that it had to be fixed. Bill, did an outstanding job finding all of the issues with the truck. He also did a great job fixing the major problem with the truck. I have to say it runs better now than it has since I started driving it. I would recommend Bill and his team for all of your needs with commercial trucks. Simply put they are the best.

5 stars. Bill drove all the way to the PA line to get me back to Buffalo. I was going to take my truck to the FL dealer but decided to go to A1. He explained everything that he did and let me know before he did. Very knowledgeable and friendly service. Kept me updated daily on what my truck needed and even found me a way home multiple times to avoid uber fees. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back for the next problem we have!!!

Avoid this shop at all cost. We contacted A-1 Enterprise for road service to replace a leaking brake chamber. While they did fix the problem, we were shocked to receive a bill for $994 just for replacing one brake chamber. Our truck was parked at C&S Groceries, 5873 Genesee St, Lancaster, NY 14086, and their shop is only a 9-minute drive away. If you choose to have your truck serviced by them, make sure to confirm the full price upfront to avoid an unpleasant surprise. I’ve included our receipt below so you can avoid getting ripped off like we did. I wouldn’t want any hardworking truck drivers to face the same fate, especially with how tough the freight market is right now.

I had some aftertreatment issues on a wintery Saturday afternoon ( 03/ 22/ 25), in Erie ,PA, and after waiting 4 hours for a different company to show up and fix my problem, the just told me that won't show up... After a few phones calls, with other" local " companies, nobody would even try to help me ,being under a load. The only one who said that will try to help me, even if he told me that might not work ,was mister Bill, willing to drive to my location, almost 2 hours away ! Very knowledgeable, polite and also educative for anyone who has the " ears" to listen and learn new and useful advice. Bill fixed my problems, even if it was already night and had other people waiting for help. On top of this ,he did not charge me for an extra hour needed to be 100% sure that I'm good to go!! Thank you again sir, hard to find people who care ,have the knowledge and take pride in what they do! Good luck in everything you do sir!

Hi this is Justin we had our Air Tank bust a weld and A1 took great care of us . They took us in last minute and even drove me to my hotel room 20 mins away . Bill the owner as well as his workers treated me me how all customers should be treated . Would recommend anybody to this family ran shop . Thank you Bill. This is a superior company with quality workers that do amazing and beyond work. Bill the owner is a one of a kind gentleman that cares about his customers. He stands on his word and he is very knowledgeable regarding getting the problem diagnosed and solved. I came to the shop with a bad brake job due to negligence from the previous owner but Bill came through and diagnosed the issue and had his mechanics fix my issues without a problem. If you need quality mechanics with quality service this is the place to go.

When I called that my truck would not start. Truck started and I called them back that my truck started but I still want them come out and see why it refused to start in the first place. the mechanic came out and said he hooked up his computer and cleared code and charged $994. I paid without any issue. In the morning the truck would not start, so the original issue was not fixed, I called their shop, the owner, was not apologetic and was not concerned that we were stranded and that the issue was also not fixed. He kept arguing that they did what they had to do. Anyways, they are not trustworthy and are only looking out for the money. Not at any time did he say, look you paid all that money and your truck still is not fixed, we got you. I will not recommed this place. The basically stole $994 from me.

I'm Mike and don't know where all these bad reviews come from. I got a serious def issue with my truck and I couldn't drive over 5mph. I read all these bad reviews and was afraid to go there, but haven't choice, it was the closest. Soon as I got there, they spent entire days (9am to 8pm) on my truck bcz it was serious. I thought they will kill me with the $$$ as bad reviews attest. The owner and Chris mechanic guy were very respectful to me explaining to me every step and asking me the decision. Myseft and the other driver that was there for his truck too were surprised at the end they charged me only very very few hours and even discount. I checked online the duration of fixing my truck issue, it was a little over than what they charged me for. Very honest people, friendly. Just go there and be nice, they know their job. Before me a box truck guy told me the same, very honest people and never overcharging you.

Definitely giving this place the highest review possible! The owner Bill and mechanic Jacob took excellent care of us. We were 3600 miles into a road trip when we broke down. We reached out to A-1 Enterprises on a holiday weekend. They got us towed to their shop and analyzed the issue quickly. Unfortunately, it being a holiday weekend, part was not available until Tuesday. So, Bill offered us to stay in our camper and even provided the electricity hook ups . Took him up on that and also turned our lemons into lemonade as we rode bikes to nearby attractions that Bill and Jacob recommended.

Bill and his team are awesome! My mom has had 2 emergency repairs on her car over last year and they were quick to get her in and thorough. I just had my own car in and they were just as great! They do a fantastic job explaining and making sure you understand the pricing and repairs that are being made/needed. As a woman (who is admittedly clueless about cars) I especially appreciate that. Bill is a good man. I had my truck broken down with an oversize load in Buffalo, called Bill , he showed up and started the truck. Very decent and honest man. He's business owner, fixes all big trucks

I had a bad experience with this shop they are interested in getting money from you with poor service they charged me $6200for changing turbo that didn’t need changing drove 30 miles I had the same problem they couldn’t figure out what was the problem with my truck. I paid $6200 while my truck only had air filter problem, I can’t recommend this place even to my worst enemy. They did my oil change and never put enough oil in my truck I had to top it up the worst ever experience this is highway robbery

The guys at A1 Enterprises were first rate. My truck went in with electrical issues, and they went right to work. Bill and George were top-notch. They had all the right equipment and the shop was very clean and organized. They poured over just about every possible cause and explained everything in a clear and concise manner and in the end, I was given a well detailed invoice. A bit on the pricey side but their workmanship and customer service reflects the bill.

Do not recommend. Did camshaft work on one of our trucks. Leaking from every spot they touched. Broke condenser. From the looks they lost half the bolts to put it back together after weeks of having the truck. Overcharged on everything. My nephew could have done better. Stop using a damn impact on everything also.
