My die hard gold battery went bad one year into the three year unlimited warranty. Steve, the manager refused to give me another battery. Been going to the store For over 30 years and I’m done. Crazy thing is, I talked to headquarters in Roanoke, Virginia, and they suggested to try to take the battery to a different location, so I went over to the Catskill advance and they warranted it. No questions asked. I believe Steve has some personal issues going on. Won’t be going back as long as he is there.
Went to the store today to drop off used oil from out generator we used at camp all summer. The gentleman working the front counter took two 5 quarts with the same oil in it but refuse to take the one small 1 quart that had the same of the rest in the oil in even after he smelt all 3 of them. So i took the one he refused to take and went right down the road to autozone and they smelt it and said it was fine and took it from me? Maybe this guy at advance smell was off ? Like come on wont be going back here again. Awful customer service.
Butch went above and beyond to help my family and i when were stranded at shoprite with a flat tire. Great employee that I will always be greatful for him kindness
Replaced an old battery and they gave me a "better one" that ended up being a different (and the wrong) type. Figured it out when I installed it and it didn't work right. They did not allow me to return it or get a refund because it had been installed. I'm not mad at the policy, just very frustrated with the individual that gave me the wrong battery.

I have been struggling with an issue with my car for almost a month now,going back and forth between 2 otherwise reputable auto care businesses. Alas all the running around still left me with unsolved auto problems,causing horrible ripple effects in the rest of my life.S free diagnostic with A.A.P and things are definitely looking up!
Someone here literally had me in the store for 45 min cause he returned my items instead of exchanging it had to wait till customer service fixed the problem
Used to be a good place to get what you need. Lately there seems to be less in store. Ordered parts for the next day and came to get them only to find parts weren't there when promised. My order was canceled and nobody took responsibility for it. Happened 3 times recently. Enough incompetence for me to continue doing business there.
I bought brakes and rotors for my 99 silverado they put the truck in computer wrong as a k 1500 gave me wrong rotors I live 45 min frm there now I have to go all way back there to exchange them. They did same thing when I bought rotors for rear they gave me drums rotors instead of disk like I asked for I told the employee multiple time the make and model of my truck and still got it wrong every time
