I took my car here to get the battery replaced after realizing AutoZone does a free install with purchase. Ruth was amazing. She helped suggest which battery to go with, and installed it herself. She was so kind and helpful. I will always get my battery replacements from here moving forward!!

I had a very unpleasant experience with one of your after-sales staff — a white man with a beard. He was extremely rude and unprofessional.
I asked him where I could find bicycle stickers. Instead of helping me, he pretended not to understand what I was saying and asked me to write it down. When I wrote it down, he gave me a dirty look. I find it very hard to believe that he could not understand the word “bicycle” unless I spelled it out.
After I spelled it, he threw the paper into the trash in front of me and aggressively said, “Aisle 15,” while staring at me in a hostile way.
His behavior felt disrespectful and discriminatory. I don’t understand why someone with this kind of attitude is working in customer service. Customers deserve basic respect, regardless of language or background.
Very disappointing experience.
The young men working at the Halfmoon autozone today deserve a 7 star today. They all helped my son and I out in a situation with my car in the freezing cold when they didn’t have to. Matt especially was so helpful he went way above and beyond with his advice and services!!! A big thanks to Matt and the Autozone team working on Super Bowl Sunday! I’ll be a repeat customer for sure now!!!!
Came in today to replace my battery. During the process I locked my keys in my car. Matt and the 3 other employees that were working came out and did everything they could think of to get my door open so I could get my keys. Amazing service. Thank you guys so much.
Cold morning woke up to a dead battery. Ruth the store manager first tested the battery before selling me a new one. Ruth installed the battery for me quickly and efficiently. Excellent service!
On Saturday 1/31/26 my mother-in-law's car wouldn't start. I went to the Advanced Auto Part in Clifton Park, asked for quotes for a new battery and asked about their policy to install the battery. They were nice enough but gave many store policy reasons as to why they wouldn't be able to install the battery even though they advertise that they will. We drove across the street to Auto Zone and Ruth Rivera greeted us as soon as we walked in. Ruth answered all of our questions, helping us make the best choice. When I asked Ruth about the battery installation policy, she was so nice and polite and said that she could definitely help. Mind you, this was literally the coldest day of the year, with wind chill it was below zero. Not only was she knowledgeable, she was so nice the entire time, talking with us about our kids and family. She installed the battery, right there with no issues in the freezing cold. She even installed a windshield wiper for us. I will tell everyone I know about Ruth. She was amazing. Thank you so much Ruth! The store is very clean and welcoming too.
My friends came from Boston they had issue with battery’s guys really help them to troubleshoot and scan the codes for free of cost. Recommend them and appreciate.
I went to Auto Zone to buy wipers 2 weeks ago. Ruth was extremely helpful and really knew her stuff. She even installed them for me. I went back today to buy a stainless steel license plate frame because my plate is getting destroyed at the car wash. Once again Ruth waited on me and helped me find one. They have quite the selection! She and Joe installed it for me. Both Ruth and Joe were so nice, helpful and knowledgeable, I will never go anywhere else from now on.
I was in desperate straits when my battery died in the recent cold spell. Ruth and her crew at the Clifton Park AutoZone got my new battery installed and took care of the disposal of the old one. They really went above and beyond and saved me from having to wait until Monday to get my car repaired! Thanks again my friends!
One of the worst locations where he has gone to buy very bad special customer service, three teenagers who work there are very rude to people I was looking for something some tools that were there I asked them for help, they refused to help me and they told me that they don't handle that kind of thing that I was going to look for the dealer when the three were standing there talking about each other, I don't know if it was racism or something Because the three of them started laughing the store is very good, I'm a customer, but thinking about it, I won't go to that location again avoid it if you can
These guys were amazing. Tested my battery and made sure I really need a battery not anything else. They didn’t try to oversell something I didn’t need. Bryan and Ruth were great
I had a great experience at this AutoZone Clifton Park location. Michael was very helpful and patiently installed the low beam headlights on my car. He made sure everything worked perfectly before I left. All the staff were friendly, welcoming, and happy to answer my questions. It’s nice to see such great customer service — I’ll definitely be coming back here for future needs!

First of all this Autozone deserves a 5 star … I go there a lot … I went this morning… there is a Guy at the counter … seems as if someone force him to work….like he don’t want to be there….
I gave him my information what I am looking for ..2015 Toyota Prius bulb ….tells me a number to go and look…I asked him to help me because I don’t have my reading glasses… he went with his sour face and attitude….pointing to bulb numbers …. And went back …I picked the bulb ..and I went back to him … telling him the bus doesn’t look right …. He went on the computer …punch it in … turn the screen to me and telling me those build are not replaceable….I told him I replaced the other side already…. This guy continues to tell me it’s not replaceable….well at that point I said ok ….thinking….i might have to junk this car because of a headlight….. i left and went to Schenectady Auto zone …. And it’s there …
This Guy need some fresh training…. First on the list is proper customer service ….

Had an issue with my windshield wipers I bought at another location. She definitely realized that they were the wrong size and replaced without even looking me up in the system. It was such a relief to have her help me.
Needed someone to assist in replacing tail light bulb, one that I had replaced here a month ago on the opposite side. Walked in to the store and was greeted. Let them know I needed someone for about 10 minutes to help me with a tail light bulb. I was immediately told that’s not something the “usually do” and that they were too short staffed today because of the FLU going around. As there were 5 associates behind the counter not seeming to be doing anything. I was told that answering the phones was more important than helping me out.
I cannot say enough great things about Ruth, the manager at the AutoZone I go to! She is an absolute gem and truly went above and beyond to help me. I recently had work done on my Jeep at a dealership, only to run into the same issue less than a month later. Ruth took the time to help me figure out the problem and even guided me through the process of filing a complaint against the dealership.
Not only did she provide top-tier customer service, but she also gave me a discount on my purchase, allowing me to get everything I needed while saving money. Her kindness, knowledge, and dedication to helping customers are unmatched. If every business had a Ruth, the world would be a much better place! I visited AutoZone in Clifton Park during a busy period and was incredibly impressed by the excellent service. Joe went above and beyond to help me replace my battery quickly and efficiently. This not only saved me time and money but also made the entire experience stress-free. Despite the store being busy, the team managed everything smoothly. Staff were amazing at supporting me in shopping for a new battery. They didn't try to upsell me at all and the manager there was by far the best manager at any store I've encountered in a very long time. I will definitely come here for all of my car needs.
Ordered something online because honestly I wouldn't know what I was looking at if I came in (plus my joints hurt to where walking around is tough).... But they promptly fulfilled the order and I'd say that it's worth paying more than Amazon because this worked well for my car when I installed it. (And I say this not because they're expensive but because Amazon has cheaply made and cheaply priced stuff that's inferior).
Online ordering is good for the rare times I need a car part. :)
On an early Sunday morning in Clifton Park we were in need of a car battery. Having done business with Advanced Auto, we went there only to be told they had the battery, then didn't have the battery and the only one available cost $50.00 more. We said given that it's not what we want, possibly give us a slight price reduction? No way. So we said time to go across the street to AutoZone. Best thing that ever could have happened. They had a comparable battery, at an even better price. But even more importantly was the OUTSTANDING customer service that was provided at the Halfmoon AutoZone. Store Manager Ruth R. greeted us and promptly had answers. She managed to take our initial impression of excellent customer service and increase it to outstanding. She immediately left an impression that her guidance was well informed and that she was personally concerned about a positive outcome. She was willing to go out of her way to help as much as possible. Her sincerity, understanding and kindness are very much appreciated in an increasingly impersonal world. As we changed the battery in the parking lot, she checked on us three times to offer guidance and in the end even ran a test to ensure that the battery problem wasn't complicated by alternator issues, etc. We are now AutoZone customers 100% thanks to Ruth R.; she is the definition of outstanding customer service!
I needed 2 new lower control arms due to worn out ball joints on my Chevy Malibu, so I went to autozone. I was helped by who Ruth who went above and beyond to make sure that I had the right parts for my vehicle and who also did a special order because she was out of stock in the store. The part was shipped to her store in only a couple of days which was amazing. I was also able to get a loaner pickle fork which made the job a breeze. Ruth also treated my two sons extremely well when we went to pick up the part from the store. She gave them each a toy, and they are still playing with them today. I appreciate autozone for their knowledge, expertise, and excellent customer service.
