Made an appointment but when i came there , the person said no one was available to work on my car . “Its the nature of business” is what the guy at the counter said . I Wouldn’t come here again

I had a 130 appointment for replacement of front shocks on my 2013 Chevy Silverado 2500 heavy duty. my vehicle was brought in and put up on the lift at 1:30. It stayed there until approximately 10 after three.Repairs were completed at approximately 430 . Mechanics on duty had absolutely no sense of urgency or concern for the customer waiting.

Excellent service! Very knowledgeable staff. I had my oil changed and new tires put on. They checked my vehicle to make sure everything else was good to go. Definitely will return for future repairs.

I had to have my oil changed. The new manager Mike Wells was awesome. He took very good care of my car I came in looking for the old manager and Mike explained to me that he was no longer there. So Mike took care of what needed to be done. I am very happy with the service on my last visit. Thank you.

Made an appointment for a Friday afternoon close to closing time to fix a leak in my tire. Came in just shy of my appointment time. Was greeted and they began the work immediately. *Welp* there was no leak, my tires just needed air. “I’m Just a girl☺️”. Thanks Joe! I appreciate it!

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE PROFESSIONALS COURTEOUS INFORMATIVE STAFF AND MANAGER WHEN I PURCHASED 4 NEW TIRES (AT THE MONRO MUFFLER LOCATED ON ROUTE 9 IN CLIFTON PARK NY) MY SERVICE WAS DONE WITHIN A TIMELY MANER AND THE PRICE WAS REASONABLE

I called and made an appointment two days prior for the date of December 9th at 5:30 my breaks are making noise on the backside (passenger). When I went there they said we can’t help you today and I get it sometimes they are busy. I asked them can you guys check and make sure it’s okay to drive they can’t even accommodate that it seems.

Overall fantastic experience — the guys in the shop swapped my tires out with exceptional customer service and overall smoothness

I had four tires installed and Brandon Blanchard from the 1550 Central Ave Colonie store was filling in. Great customer service and a great price! I would definitely use Monroe again.

I had my check engine light come on and start flashing. My vehicle was driving weird, I panicked and brought my vehicle to Monro since they were open and my normal auto body shop was not. After their diagnostic I was called to be informed I needed multiple different parts replaced in my engine compartment that was causing the engine light to come on. The quoted me $1250 to replace everything. I originally agreed until they kept pushing back when my vehicle would be done, told me that day then called again pushing it back. I went picked my vehicle up and brought it to my auto shop since they were now open. My mechanic did a diagnostic stating only one thing needed to be replaced. Total repairs would be $550. Monro tried scamming me telling me all these things needed to be replaced that didn’t. That should be illegal. I can’t even imagine how many people they have scammed by lying replacing parts that do not even need to be replaced. Would not recommend going to Monro especially the one in Clifton park

My appointment was for 1pm. My vehicle was not ready for pickup until 6:15pm. I was not impressed. Also, scheduled services were not completed. I was scheduled for snow tires mounted and an alignment. They only got to snow tires. No alignment was performed due to the time constraints.

Knowledgeable staff, very friendly, kept me informed. Tyler and Mike are so patient. Thank you Firestone, I won't go anywhere else!!!

Do not go to this place. The new management gave me an outrageous estimate with a majority of the “needed” repairs not needing repairs at all. Complete scam artists. They will just make things up that say need repair when anyone with experience knows all too well it wasn’t needed.

I am a young woman who relies on shops like Monro Muffler in Clifton Park to perform accurate diagnostics. I went here on July 30th with concerns about my car having trouble starting. I expected a proper diagnostic to confirm the issue before any work was done. Shortly thereafter, The mechanic confirmed that it was the starter, but it would cost nearly $900. That is half a months salary for a young person like me, but I felt I had little choice. After the repair, the same problems starting my car persisted. When I returned, the mechanic checked my car again and admitted that the real problem was actually a corroded battery, and acknowledged that the original diagnostic was not done properly. I asked for a refund since they had misdiagnosed the issue and charged me for a repair that didn’t address the actual problem. At first, the mechanic who made the error was willing to take responsibility and refund me, but later the shop backtracked and offered a free battery instead, which nowhere near offset the cost of the starter. Monro’s side of the story started out apologetic and offering to work with me (everyone makes mistakes and those that own up should be given a second chance was my thinking). However, with each altering version of Monro’s side, it sounded more more defensive and “it is your fault”, adding salt to the wound. They even tried to place the blame on me for “suggesting” that it could be the starter—despite it being their responsibility as professionals to diagnose the problem properly. This experience was incredibly frustrating. I paid nearly $900 for a repair I didn’t need and was left with the original issue unresolved. At the end of the day, it is a mechanic’s job to diagnose the problem, not the customer’s. I can’t recommend this shop and would strongly suggest an alternative shop particularly if you not knowledgeable in automotives and rely on the accurate diagnostics / professionals service of the mechanics.

Where do I begin with this place, nobody answers the phone ever, try calling the 800# nobody answers that number if they do they hang up on you. These people will give you the run around tell you what you want to hear to get your money, very unprofessional, lie about prices and charge you more, the techs don’t know what they are doing, I don’t recommend using monro whatsoever, even if they give that low price at first, it will turn into double that price and your car still won’t be fixed. All these comments people left were not lying they are scam artists here. If you see monro building just keep driving dealing with them is just not worth the stress and loss of money

This place is an absolute joke I cannot stress this message enough do not take your vehicle here , they have had my car for a week promised me this and that my car hasn’t moved an inch in a week, they used every excuse in the book we have no techs working today can’t get the part tell me one price and it cost another, my tech doesn’t know how to do the work. Wish I knew all that before I was told to bring my car there they will take care of it right away and after I spent $200 on a tow there , now I have to spend another $275 to have it towed somewhere else I’m out $475 because of these jokers. DONT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU !!

Needed 4 new tires mounted and balanced. Appointment went perfect. Staff was very friendly, honest and helpful. Will absolutely be back for other services. Thank you!

John was amazing I had an emergency, I needed my tire done before 10:00 it was flat with the rim coming out. He got me in at 9:00 and out by 9:25 and was able to take my daughter to the 2nd day of her 1st job. This meant so much to me! Mind u there was another suv their having all four tires done that weren’t on when I got their. He did us both and got us both our cars same time. Thanks John!!

I had my tire replaced with Chuck a few weeks ago. I was a little nervous because I had never been here before and I needed my tire replaced in a timely manner. He was so helpful and efficient! He definitely turned a stressful situation into a good customer experience. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone in need of repair!

I went there because my Cadillac started acting up. Chuck took my vehicle in right away, and it was diagnosed quickly. He explained what was going on and what needed to be done, every step of the way. He was super patient with me, kind, and extremely pleasant to work with. He was very nice and kept a smile the entire time. You have a wonderful employee at this location. What excellent service!

I arrived to this establishment on a Friday at 7:15 with an emergency. Pulled in and was immediately met at my door by a very friendly manager, Charles, who indicated that his technicians/mechanics were not there yet but said he would take a look at it. He took it for a test drive and then spent 20 minutes on the lift and said it was safe to drive but to please stop back after work, 5pm, and he would have the mechanic look more extensively. After that 2nd inspection, it was determined I should bring it back in the morning and they would work on it. Still not decisive on the diagnosis, had Bob look it over in the morning. He spent 1 hour, test driving, up on the lift (almost like a car whisperer) and finally determined the problem and had it fixed lickety split. It was so refreshing and a pleasure dealing with such an honest garage and such pleasant personnel (especially Charles). I was put at ease from the moment I pulled in until I last drove away. I also had the experience of his and his staff's dealings with other customers and I could tell they felt the same way. Thank you so very much. I will not hesitate to come back again.

Bob and Laurie are amazing!!!! Such sweethearts! I was a few hours from home and my brake line decided to fail. I was so scared. It was on a Sunday too. Luckily, I came across your shop. Bob and Laurie stayed until 6 ( a hour after close) to make sure I could get back home! 😭😭😭🥹❤️❤️ They are heroes! I truly appreciate them! I totally recommend this shop!

I went in for a tire replacement, after hitting a pot hole. They were able replace my tire in an efficient manner, even though it was at the end of their work day. I commute for work and with the bubble on my front tire, I could have possibly get into to an accident. When it comes to auto service, I would highly recommend this store. Having reliable tires and a reliable vehicle, can save your life and others. Great customer service!

Dropped my car off Saturday afternoon for an oil change and inspection. Was told they probably wouldn't be able to get to it that day. I said I was fine getting it the next day. I didn't hear from them all day Sunday. Tried calling probably 20 times and it just rang and rang. Finally just drove down there where I was told they hadn't gotten to it yet but they would "bring it in right now." I said no thanks, took my keys, and left. Awful communication, awful service, never again will I go there.

I'm here right now no one here Saturday at 10:45. Cars in the lot, garage bays full. Had my car for 3 days going on 4 now and no one ever calls or updates. Told me yesterday on Friday it would be complete, no call no update. Now they apparently make their own hours and don't say anything on the website or Google. I'll be contacting BBB and also Monro corporate. This place has no business being open.
