Had a great experience with Christine and Andrew this afternoon; needed a rear wiper blade for my car and couldn't find it- Christine was very kind and helpful. She remembered they got a shipment in today and took time to check to see if there were wiper blades in the shipment and had Andrew bring one out and replaced it in a flash! Andrew wasnt even bothered by my german shepherd who barked at him from the back seat as he installed it for me! Super kind, fast and knowledgeable staff here, highly recommend!

Our car wouldn't start today, heard clicking, but nothing else, battery relatively new, one year old, but have not started the garage car for about 10 days. Spoke to Christine at advanced auto parts and she was extremely helpful. I had intended on buying a battery charger, but she explained it could be other things as well and suggested I borrow a power pack from her and see if the car would start soI did. After I attached it to the battery following the procedures which were relatively simple, the car still wouldn't turn over. I returned the power pack to Christine and she said it could also be an alternator, starter or just a plain dead battery. I'll have AAA check it out during the week and then if necessary have l it to my regular service center. Christine saved me the cost of a new battery charger and was extremely helpful in identifying potential issues. She's the best. I would go no other place for auto supply parts than advanced auto parts. Also, about a year ago I needed new wipers for my SUV. I went to advance auto parts. They checked out the right wipers based on my vehicle specs and installed them for me. They've been working great ever since.

I wanted to thank Christine and Will for their great customer service at Advanced Auto in Clifton Park. We went to their store just before it was closing and they graciously helped us out buying and replacing a battery in our car. We were so glad they were still open. They are both very knowledgeable employees. Thank you again Christine and Will for your help.

Called, verified they did 12v battery replacements on my make and model and told them the time I could be there for install. Purchased online, arrived and asked if they could install it as they said they could. The gentleman working said they don't replace 12v batteries in EVs (Keep in mind, this is a 12v battery, NOT the EV battery, no different than any car's 12v) and stated they "aren't insured for that". Went home, did it myself. Don't tell customers something just to get them in the door then about face. Unprofessional and absolutely false, there is no difference in the battery. First and last purchase at this location.

Christine was great and funny and very knowledgeable. She helped me understood which battery was better for my car and why I should go with the Platinum instead of the economy battery. She also insisted installing the battery and making sure I was okay until I left. Better than the auto zone across the street.

Today was a day I couldn’t believe. I walk into this building today and everything was down the computer the heating system and this young lady christine she handle it very well. She help me as much as she could on her phone , went out and tested my battery all while multi-tasking and trying to figure out what was going on. I have to say I am impressed she installed my battery in 6 degree weather and not once did she complained. And most importantly her customer service was top notch. Shout to christine: I’m definitely bring my entire family to shop here from now on and I’m definitely gonna ask for christine. Thank you young lady for today. I hope you see this!

desperately needed a new battery during this crazy snowstorm on 1/26. the guy who helped me (the only other employee besides the manager in the store today) installed the battery while it was actively snowing outside. he was SO nice and had me all set within 20 minutes from transaction to install. made my day!

I went in today to have two of my RV batteries tested. Jeff (employee) was extremely helpful bringing in my two heavy batteries out of my car on a cart. He then tested them and it showed that they were dead on the meter. Unfortunately they did not sell that specific battery at their store but their customer service was top notch and I will be back for future auto needs.

The representative at the counter knew exactly what I needed for my vehicle and helped me to choose the best option and the installer was top notch and took great care of my vehicle and cleaned up all packaging and cleared the area. Great experience at a well run store with exemplary employees.

Always have a good experience at this Advanced Auto Parts. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I’ve been coming to Advance auto parts for years and every time I’ve come the customer service has always been terrible but today a young lady christine was so kind to me. I was stuck in the parking lot I need a battery to be put in and in the past employees would tell me they couldn’t but this young lady came out in 25 degree weather and change my battery and said to me after she was done I love what I do so I don’t care about the cold and I just hope you get home safe! This customer experience today was a 10 out of 10! Thank you christine!

If you’re looking for great customer service, ask for Christine at Advance Auto Parts. She is very knowledgeable about oil changes, parts, and vehicle needs in general. She takes the time to explain things and always makes sure everything is correct before I leave. I highly recommend her.

I went to buy bulbs for my car. I needed help. Christine was great. She went through all the different bulbs and what they do and discussed which bulbs might be best for me based on what i needed and I picked out the best bulb for my purposes. She was was so helpful to this 78 year old man. Thank you Christine!

Wow!! Honestly I wish I was allowed to give 0 stars since that’s what this place deserves. The cashier who “helped” me whose name was Zack I did not get very pleasant energy from him. And after I purchased my windshield wipers he never even offered to help put them on. How rude. Zack you really should not be working in customer service since you really don’t seem to give a damn in helping out people

Just heard 700 Advance Auto Parts stores are closing unfortunately not this one. Hopefully next cut. I had gone there for 15 years or so. I used to own between 7 to 10 cars regularly as I enjoy repairing cars in my space time and in general just plain old love vehicles. That said, this place has gotten worse and worse to the point that they treat customers as if the customer is lucky to be there. Do yourself a big, big favor and head kiddy corner to the part store located there. 100% better.

I ordered a battery from Advance Auto Parts, but the wrong one was delivered. When I went to the store to address the issue, the staff immediately apologized and replaced it with the correct one on the spot. The customer service was excellent, and they handled the situation quickly and professionally. I really appreciate the hassle-free experience and will continue to shop here!

Went to buy a new car battery, employees behind the counter didn't seem to know what they were looking at when they were reading the computer so i left and went to the Autozone across the street and their employees knew what they were looking at and asked better questions.

First off I want to start with the commercial department manager add absolute zero personality. I’ve been in the auto business for 35 years spent much money with Advanced Auto More so in Latham, because it’s near my dealership I am tax exempt. I sent a customer in to get a battery under my account and paid for it over the phone because I promised it to them and they wanted to install it themselves. It was a $400 battery not discounted and I was charged tax so I went into the store showed them a copy of the receipt. She stated that my exemption is only good for a year. I said well at the Latham store I never have issues and at the store. I’ve never had an issue either, I said, do you have a form I can give you no mind you that I am spending $400 on a battery not a $10 item also I believe if you’re in the retail business you need to at least mail to people if you hate your job that much you should find another one why should I feel uncomfortable at a place and I’m spending money at well. She let me walk out the door. I will call corporate, but I will continue to do my business at AutoZone as well and Latham Candace discounts all my parts and beats everyone’s prices, but I like the spread the wealth to keep America going , but when someone lets me walk out of the door and didn’t discount the battery nor pay attention to the tax, this is ridiculous. I felt like I was being processed for a crime committed for god sake’s people like this should not be in retail go to AutoZone much better service , sorry I don’t leave bad reviews but your commercial manager she needs to be let go

Unlike the AutoZone across the street, this place actually stays open until the time they say. I was helped by an extremely friendly staff that helped me get a new battery 5 minutes before the doors closed. Christian came out into the parking lot after he got off of work and helped install my battery. He really didn't need to, just a good guy that didn't want to see me stranded. I'd recommend this store to anyone.

I needed a new battery for my VW Passat, and had already tried to get serviced at three previous parts stores. Although he was swamped with customers, Christian took the time to help me diagnose my issue, find the right battery for my vehicle, and get my new battery installed in a timely manner. He was professional and very helpful, making sure I knew about my new battery and about my VW. I truly appreciate his help and will be back any time I need parts or a new battery down the line!

I purchased a battery from here this week. $300.00 with free install. This caused my Bluetooth to become disabled. I didn't know how to enable it and called the store back for advice. This was my experience, first was told that it was easy fix, I just needed to sync my phone again. Having to explain, again, that the Bluetooth in my car was disabled, hence you can't sync anything until I can enable the Bluetooth. The manager, Rhonda continued to tell me that she has done hundreds of battery changes and never had this happen. Then continued to tell me about how she was on vacation all next week that I wouldn't be able to bring my car in and show her what I was talking about. She seemed so proud of herself and her vacation that my issues were made very obvious to me that she didn't care one bit. Meanwhile, I accidentally called another store, (who up to the point of realizing they weren't the ones who replaced my battery) were going out of there way to assist me in getting my Bluetooth operational again. These people just got my patronage and I will never be back at your store again.

Very pleased with the service today. Tried to get my battery replaced. Guy call Connor explained everything in detail patiently and ran battery tests twice for me. First time he used a sample battery and explain to me how it works then did the same test on my car. He cleaned up the connector carefully and patiently before the new battery was installed. I did not expect service like this that is free of charge! Very polite and professional. Def will go back!!

Great service! I called ahead to ask about a battery install. I was told the employee was alone in the store and couldn't do it immediately. I asked what time would be best and they said about an hour. I showed up an hour later and was on my way within 15 minutes with my new battery installed !

F150 (2003) Battery light is on, replaced both battery and alternator...mechanic says, it's the alternator...keep your receipts...I bought the life time warrenty...the battery light is still on...replacing the alternator twice in one day...mechanic says, it's not uncommon to replace Advanced Auto Parts alternator 2 to 4 times before getting a good one...I hope the 2nd alternator is good...cant they test them out the box...
