Only two machines and one is always broken and the other constantly stopping and getting jammed. There’s always a line out the door with some individuals bringing upwards of 50 bags of cans. With only a single machine working half the time, this place isn’t worth the hassle anymore.

Brought in 256 bottles (hand counted, as I was supposed to bring them to another facility that is temporarily closed). Got paid for 241. Did they fall off the belt?

This location seems understaffed. They had a great younger man and woman working here for quite a while who were always very nice b it I haven’t seen them in a month or so. Today I went in at 5:15 and the man there was very very agitated. He was closing early and was very upset and said he had been working for 10 hours with no break and had had no lunch. I think they must be understaffed. This man seemed very frantic and was getting upset with people who were showing up even tho they’re usually open until 6 so there was no way for them to know that he was closing early. I’m hoping they manage to become fully staffed as usually it’s fine.

It's a great service. Except when you post one time for a lunch break and then change it to a half hour later return time. Traveled twice.in one day from Latham for absolutely nothing. Worst business practice.

I showed up at 5:52 with 5 small bags of cans easily doable in the 8 minutes. The guy saw me and rushed to lock the door so I could not submit my cans. I work 8-5 as well as my wife and have tried multiple days to turn in the cans.

Filled up the back of my Silverado with 10-12 large bags of Returns I usually go to Glenville but it was closed When I return at Glenville I get on average 10.50$-11.50$per contractor bags full My Daughters bags 1/2 of them were the larger leaf bags full and a couple contractors and the rest large garbage bags Well over 100$ worth a received 51$ They are ripping people off I called my Sheriff friend He looked into it They happened to have no cameras Nothing he could do So my Grandsons bank account college fund got 51$ instead of 100 $ and Something 👎👎👎

This place sucks. Don’t waste your time. Nothing convenient about it. Only one machine has been operational my last few visits, so you wait in line forever.

Don't go to this place if you have a bunch of cans. I wouldn't complain over a couple bucks but almost $30 in cans just miraculously disappears. Then to be told "don't know what to tell you I've never seen the machine do this". If you have a small amount of cans I'm sure this makes sense but large amounts take your time and go somewhere else.

Did it for my first time yesterday. It's a LOT easier than going to Price Chopper. I'll be coming back everytime I have bottle returns.

I have loved going here since they changed everything over to automated counting. The employees are all very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

This place is very accurate. The last place I went to the guy hand counted them and he was very off. Here I got more money with less bottles

Very easy to use, extremely loud though! Can get ridiculously busy. Be prepared to stand in line for awhile on the weekends.

I had a great experience because of one employee Michelle. She was super helpful and kind and helped me carry in my bags because I had 11 of them. While I was there she was great with helping me and other customers get in and out quickly while helping me empty out all of my bags even though she was the only employee there. The stations to return bottles were also clean and counted the bottles quickly so it was a quick experience. One customer there even tried arguing with Michelle over 15 cents because the customer lost 3 of their bottles and thought she was getting ripped off and was very rude to Michelle. Michelle handled the situation very well and even gave her 20 cents out of her tip jar to make up for what was lost even though she didn’t have to do that and I think more places need great employees like Michelle!

Had 8 bags of bottles. Got in and out in 10 minutes. Can't beat it. Super friendly helpful service and couldnt be easier to do business here

Yup, during covid there were lines. Yes you had no wait if you so chose to. Now with the pandemic mostly gone, this place is fast. New counting machine zips you in and out in no time. Staff has always been great and helpful. I had one of the employees tell me about the reject door to check so I wasn't shorted..If you have a complaint about this place, you will have a complaint about every place you go. Just my opinion.

super easy to drop off recycling if you use the tomra app. my bags were processed day the next day. 12 cases of beer work also. just put sticker on top of box.

I went there for the first time in 07/2020 and won't go back again. I think they guess and don't count. You can't dispute the total because they empty the trash cans once they are full. I don't trust them so I'm not going back.

It’s unfortunate that I’ve been here quite a few times and it is clear that they are skimming off the top . They shorted me between 6-7 dollars, you could tell the young lady sorting bottles Wasn’t even counting the bottles . It’s really sad that they are stealing from people, we are paying in the stores and then getting ripped off at the bottle redemption place. Manager / Owner really needs to look into this . If you are just going to reply ”sorry for your negative experience“, don’t even bother, this will be my last time going there. I’m sure when others realize they are being cheated, they will also find another place . It’s really a shame.

Imagine posting your hours online and on your front door and always being closed an hour or more before that time. Real annoying to haul a ton of cans here only for them to be closed an hour early every damn time.

They don’t count the large number of cans!! Was just shorted about 20$ worth. Had the back of the truck filled and got 44$ back. Count them yourself before coming her they will rip you off

Quick and clean, however they shorted us almost 200 bottles. We counted the bottles and sorted them (cans, bottles, glass) before we brought them in. We wrote the individual numbers on a notebook that I unfortunately left at home when we went, not thinking their numbers would be so different. When I got home I added up our numbers and it was 620 all together and they gave us credit for 428. I don’t know if there’s a charge for using them and that’s why the number was less. Not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things but my kids put in the work in order to earn money to save. It beats returning a huge number of bottles to the machines.

A place like this is far preferable to returning your redeemables to a store and feeding the machines, then having to take the slips to the checkout. Sometimes the place does get crowded. Usually the service is fairly fast and courteous, although as the other reviews indicate there are exceptions. Remember to pull the tabs of the cans to donate for Shriners Hospitals and Ronald McDonald House, you can leave them in the area just inside the front door.

I was kicked out of the store 15 minutes before closing and told that he couldn't finish my bottles because they closed at 5 PM I am not happy about this at all. Completely disrespectful and selfish of the worker. I would rate it a negative stars if the option was there.

4 stars, because I never had any problems besides what happened recently. I got there at 4:50, and checked to see if they were still open. The sign said til 5. I parked and went over to the door. Locked. I saw employees in there but I think they were ignoring the fact that I was out there. They then said to me that they were closed. I only had 1 bag of bottles. Extremely disappointed for them closing early when I didn’t have that many bottles. Otherwise, no problems!

Great Staff that really was really respectful. You could also load manually if you liked but I preferred to have the staff help me. The heavy machines really did help with loading the large bags worth of cans and bottles we had. The only drawback is hat they are not open for very long at all so you have to hurry to et there before they close.

Very unfortunate and poor experience at this location. My husband had returned bottles and cans this past Saturday. They are bottling machine was down so they had to complete the transaction manually by counting the bottles and cans he received two receipts and was only paid for the one. He did not realize until he was home that this had happened. I immediately called their number on the receipt and left a voicemail. I did not hear back all weekend, so I called again Monday. No answer. I went in to the facility Tuesday afternoon and explained that my calls were not returned and explained the situation. The manager was brought to the front and treated me as if I was trying to gyp them of a few dollars. He kept questioning me on how this could have happened and I kept explaining that my husband was there and I don't know all the details other than what I left in the voicemail. I was asked if I called the number on the receipt and I said yes to which their response was well that's our old number so there really was no way of you contacting us. That in itself is a warning sign to me of a poor company. After much hassle and stress the man told me he would pay me the few dollars this one time but would be looking at the video footage. He continued on by saying that the cash register that night had wrong in even so there's no way that this could have happened. A girl working there chimed in that he could have went through as a donation. Unbelievable unethical unprofessional and inexcusable. I will never return to the site again.

Went on a Monday at 3pm. Had so many cans I had to carry a few bags in with the full cart. Guy took the cart and bags off my hands almost immediately and in less than 10 minutes I had 23 dollars. Way better than supermarkets especially since Hannaford now has instituted a drop off program where you pay for proprietary bags....this redemption center has a machine that's super fast and even with other customers there's virtually no wait. Definitely going back.
