Beware of additional costs accrued due to weight limit. This is not explained on the Website or over the phone. There is no contract or paperwork signed with the customer agreeing to pay for additional debris weight. Additionally, the weight they had in the system for the dumpster/debris was inaccurate. They tried to charge me SIX times the allotted weight claiming I had 14,000 pounds in the smallest dumpster size. Unless I had four cars and three elephants dumped in there, assuming they would even fit, it is clear a severe clerical error was made. Bad business practices.
These guys have had traffic at a standstill on Vosburgh Road for a solid 20 minutes to pick up a dumpster. Don't worry about us guys, no one has anywhere to be.
Company is fine to work with. They are subcontracted through twin bridges (casella now) and with their lower prices we decided to use them for our house clean out. We have not been home, we moved across the country and planned travel back home to do what we needed to do with our belongings. Scheduled a delivery for the end of the week to go hand in hand with our limited time we were going to be back in NY. The driver called me Thursday morning stating there was snow and he couldn't get up the driveway, fine. We rescheduled, and they were supposed to re-deliver on Tuesday morning which is what I was told. Dumpster didn't come until Tuesday afternoon/evening. Was going to have the company pick up the dumpster Thursday when we left to come back to Texas, BUT was informed that regardless if we get it picked up on day 2 of having it or day 30 of having it, we get charged the same price so we decided to leave it on our property for the max time without being charged extra. Fast forward.. they pick up the dumpster.. might I add we paid $500 for that said dumpster. They tacked on $100 plus tax for the first delivery attempt. They didn't care that we were not home to predict the driveway situation, and refused to take off the fee. Good business would be taking the fee off since we had no clue the weather situation or driveway situation, and they had already gotten their money from us anyways. Will not use this company again.
I promised Anna that I was going to write an Awesome review about How Awesome Jim's Rolloff is - This is for you Anna 😉 I rented a rolloff for my daughter who is getting ready to move, she texted me & asked if I could request a late pick-up of the rolloff (Monday was the last day). When I spoke with Anna, she not only gave me "late pick up ", Anna offered me Extra Days at No Charge!!! ❤️💜❤️ I Was Beyond Happy! Obviously I Thanked Anna, I even claimed her for my new best friend, LOL! What Excellent Service!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Just finished a 20yd roll-off dumpster. Decent prices. Both the delivery and pickup guys were super polite and well versed with driving a truck of that magnitude. Was pretty damn impressed with how they got a 20yd dumpster into my driveway with 0 incident.
I used Jim's roll off service for the entire winter with an estate clean out. They were able to provide me a reasonable price and able to pick up dumpsters every day. Most companies wouldn't be able to get to it for 5 days but not these guys. The driver was very accommodating and was easy to work with. Can't say enough great things about this company. I will be happy to provide there name to anyone looking for dumpster rentals.

Jim’s was exactly what I needed. Needed to do some basement and house clean out but needed to get it done over time, Jim’s worked with me on a fair price. Driver was on time dropping off and picking up. Will definitely use them next time I need to clean up.

We ordered 2 dumpsters back to back for a house clean out....didnt matter who i talked to everyone was awsome. And they did whatever they could to fit my time frame ....i will definitlu use them again if necessary.
Always helpful and super easy to work with! I decided to do a pandemic purge. I needed to sell my father's house and clean out the garages and basements of 3 other houses. My friend told me I wouldn't even be able to get a dumpster/roll off because everyone was doing the same thing. With NON-pushy guidance from Andrew I decided on the biggest roll off. It came on Tuesday after I had only called the Friday before. The driver arrived at the earliest time of the window I was given and though I wasn't there yet, he put it exactly where I wanted it with a car in the way making it tricky! When my two weeks were up I had completely filled it and thought of a thousand more things I wanted to get rid of. I thought it would be tough to get another one but when I called, Andrew said that they would dump out the one I had and bring it right back. I ended up filling four! The last one I had for at least 2 months. This was no problem for them and they came the day after I called to say that I was ready to have it taken away. Jim's Roll-Off Services was a pleasure to deal with and I would recommend them to anyone

We used Jim's twice, about 7 years ago for a small renovation, and just recently for spring cleaning. The company has grown but both times these guys were nice to deal with, reasonably priced, and were flexible with our needs. We will call them again for their service.

Found this company through a google search. Called three other companies and choose Jim's Roll Off Services after speaking with Andrew. Andrew really worked with us to accommodate the request and time frame. We had additional pick up and drop offs of empty/ full dumpsters without any problems. Looking forward to our spring gutting project with Jim's Roll off Services as our dumpster company. This google find has turned out to be painless and Andrew made this experience very pleasant.

Five star experience start to finish. Booked easily online, drop off was on time, customer service was excellent. On delivery, they asked permission before putting a wheel on any part of my lawn, the folks were all pleasant, and they were careful with surrounding property and the lawn when dropping off and picking up. Would use again. Highly recommend.
My neighbor used this company and in the process of putting the dumpster into my neighbors yard they destroyed my property and never knocked on my door to let me know i have vid proof when we called them about it the man was very rude and offered me 25 dollars to fix the property thwy damaged.sas thing is the owner was on site when the damage happened ..i will never deal with this company orr their poor customer service skills again

The owner of this company Jim, backed into my parked SUV while delivering a roll off dumpster in Albany. He then encourage me not to get a police report...promising to take responsibility. When I refused to let his "friend" do the repairs he refused to be of assistance and instructed me to try and fight it out with his insurance company. Not only do I question his "condition" during the incident, he has proven to be untrustworthy!
I've used Jim's twice now and every time has been a great experience. The office personnel are friendly and easy to work with and the driver I had both times was just as great. Prices are very reasonable and the dumpsters have been in real good shape which was a nice added bonus. I will continue to use Jim's for future projects at my house.
