I put my friend’s car in for an inspection. It took 5 hours for them to call me. Only to ask if it needs an oil change and if i wanted to do the cabin filters. I agreed to the cabin filter but not the oil change. It was a 100 bucks for the cabin filter replacement. And they performed an oil change anyway and reset the miles on the car. Seems like they performed an oil change under the assumption that i would be suckered into agreeing to it. When i said no, they had to remove it from the bill. Seems like they want to push extra charges on you for no reason. All i really wanted was the inspection. Thanks for the free oil change i guess.
Received an estimate for a broken front axle(CV shaft) replacement of a Toyota Tacoma. Was over $1000 more than the shop I ultimately used. Went back to the shop and confirmed the estimator program they use did in fact estimate the repair incredibly high. Never used this shop so cant comment on quality or anything else. Just get multiple estimates from different shops. It may save you over $1000 like it did for me.

This was my first time going to First Automotive and from the very beginning, I received great customer service. My husband and I are going on a road trip to Tennessee and wanted to make sure that our car was all good for the 16-hour trip and they had our car looked for a reasonable price. If we weren't moving, we would ABSOLUTELY make First Automotive our trusted mechanic!
Developed a loud rattle at 4 PM while traveling westbound on Interstate 90 just outside of Liverpool and was lucky enough to be referred to First Auto. A sign in the immaculate waiting area said "We don't just fix cars - we help people" - and that perfectly sums up what First Auto is all abount. We pulled in a bit after 4 PM and it was immediately clear by the owner's manner that one way or another we'd get back on the road that day - and we did. If we didn't live 275 miles away I'd schedule all my service at First Auto. And yes - they do take appointments.

Russ is helpful and professional but the other guy is bad news. Charged me a ridiculous amount of money for parts and labor that didn't happen. Ended up having to do everything myself, as usual. Tried to deal with just Russ but they threw a fit so I stopped doing business with them, so did my family and friends.
Had a late inspection done and needed somewhere quick. Mark helped assist me during my needs for a car inspection quite quickly with an appointment and date setup. The process took around a half hour and I was on my way. Thank you guys for the help I really appreciate it! The waiting area is also very nice ?
The entire team at First Auto are fantastic. I've been a customer of theirs for over 12 years and I wouldn't think of taking my vehicles anywhere else for service. They speak to you honestly about issues with your car and their prices are always reasonable. I suggest that everyone check out First Auto for their vehicle service.

Quick and easy service. Dropped my car off and used overnight secure drop box for keys and notes. Spoke with them first thing in the morning & they told me what the issue was and had my car by the end of the day. Fast, easy, no fuss service is what I enjoy and what I received. Very happy customer.

I've been bringing my vehicles to First Automotive for something like 25 years. I find my questions answered fully and without delay, and I'm always treated with respect. Over the years I've developed an easy relationship with owner Mark Kompare and other members of his service staff. His shop is the only pace I would now take my auto for even the simplest servicing or repair.
Been coming here for years. Service is always quality and timely. Grayson is very relaxed, helpful, and great to talk with every time i have to set something up. I have never had a concern I was being rail roaded or pushed into unnecessary expenses here. Good honest people with reasonable costs and effective results.
My new place to go for auto repair!! After 3 different shops worked on this car..they were the first ones able to diagnose it correctly. They were quick and pricing was very fair.. Customer Service was great and they went above and beyond my expectations..will definitely go back and recommend to everyone I know!! They really helped me when no one else could!!!!
This ship always goes above and beyond expectations. Their customer service is unmatched, and you can tell by their efforts that they truly care about solving the problem in a way that is best for you. The only knock I could ever give is that sometimes they can take a bit longer, but it's only because they have so many life-long customers. 6 stars.
Best place to take your car. I am so glad to have found this place. They are very accommodating and fair. Won't be going anywhere else. (Found this place after dealer wanted to charge an arm and a leg for a replacement. They easily saved me $500.)

I have an older car (2004) chevy and I have to say that I'm very happy with the repairs . I wasn't even sure what the issue (S) were but they found a few and only repaired what was needed! Without giving up safety. I will be going back to them for any future repairs. Thank you for a job well done
My family and I have gone here for years. Mark, Grayson and Justin know what they're doing. They are patient as you explain the problem and truly want to help solve it. They don't push for extra service. You can trust them to tell you the truth and make good recommendations. Their waiting room is beautiful, comfortable and clean. They are very responsive and call to explain the issues with your car. My husband and I trust sending our daughters their for work on their cars.
I have lived in a few places and travel a lot. I have had to have my vehicle serviced all over the country and even the globe, and this is by far my favorite place. Incredibly professional. Beyond fair with their pricing. Never had a single issue with any repair that we have had done. Very honest, very clear and sincere, and just above and beyond what you would expect from a repair shop. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
