Making the online appointment, is totally useless. I had appointment at 10 am, got to store 9:45. Now after over two hours, my car sitting out waiting for the next mechanic available! total waste of my time .

Friendly fast quality service wish the prices were much cheaper but that's the world we live in definitely like this location would recommend them

Cleaning the 4 day old snow from the lot would have made this a 5 star review. Wish the store was still available.

When I couldn't even get one bolt off my break caliper, I knew it was time to let someone else do it. I dropped it off to PEPBOYS and they did breaks and rotors on all 4 wheels. They do a good job, in a reasonable time and don't "find" a bunch of stuff to upsell you on before you leave.

I took time off work in the afternoon after making an online appointment for a simple inspection and arrive for my appointment only to be told that I should have called and not booked online because they didn’t have time for it. Wild idea but maybe turn off the website if you don’t accept online booked appointments? Or maybe when you see that appointment come through and you realize you don’t have time to actually fit it in you call the customer? How is the customer to know that online bookings aren’t acceptable when it’s there as an option to schedule service. Not only was the option available; but the website showed openings most of today available like they weren’t busy at all…. Then they proceed to tell me that an inspection takes roughly an hour to do …. I used to go to valvoline for them and it would take under 15 minutes …. Don’t book online at this shop I guess ….

I recommend Pep Boys to anybody their service department. Is there knowledgeable about what you need for your car in the service for the mechanics as well he’s very knowledgeable. Pep Boys is a good quality to get what you need done for your car in good price.

I went to Pep Boys recently and they were absolutely fantastic. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. They explained everything clearly, didn’t try to upsell me on things I didn’t need, and went above and beyond to make sure the job was done right. Their service exceeded all my expectations. The work was done quickly, the pricing was fair, and they made the entire experience stress-free. It’s rare to find a shop that still cares about customer service like this. Came in for tires an state inspection, they had issues with the system and still managed to get me an others in an out. Great shop!

My husband and I went in today for new tires and alignment and had the best experience! Randy was very knowledgeable and took the time to give us a visual demonstration of what was wrong with our wheel which I appreciated. John, who checked us in and out, was very sweet and lovely to talk to! The wait was also shorter than we thought it would be -about 1.5-2 hours :).

Had a bit of a pre trip emergency (was scheduled to leave in 4 hours from when I walked in the door) and the guys squeezed me in and took care of problem very efficiently. I was very appreciative and was only there just over an hour.

went for an inspection and a tire alignment. halfway through service they told me one of my headlights was out so i bought a new one for them to install. i checked under my hood today cause it’s been throwing codes (which hadn’t happened til i took it there) and i found my old headlight bulb that they took out sitting on top of the grill/radiator and the box for the headlight was stuck beneath the alternator. charged me for labor for the part but didn’t clean up after themselves, just left it there.

This is my second visit to Pep Boys this year, each visit has been wonderful. John handled my intake he was friendly and professional! Midway through the service, they explained exactly what my vehicle needed, what could wait, realistic timeframes, and gave practical, relevant advice. Which is such a kindness, especially to those who only take their car in when the noise becomes undeniably annoying and/or unable to ignore. Randy wrapped up checkout with warmth and friendliness. They even applied a coupon I wasn't aware of prior to going in saving money without asking. Sometimes, the best part of a visit isn’t even the car.. it’s the conversation. John, Randy, Brad, and the whole team are rockstars!

Excellent customer service - The manager John has always made sure things were done correctly. I bring my personal car my work fleet vehicle and not to mention my daughters car . Been using them for a decade - highly recommended

Attentive, knowledgeable, and personable. Car wouldn’t start when filling with gas. Checked diagnostics, addressed the issue (cheaper than expected), and got an oil change and inspection. 1 day turnaround and good prices for the work that was done. Fantastic!

This place is the best! There's hardly any auto repair places that you can get a same day appointment for many things. They are reasonably priced and have a lot of availability for appointments! I get all my car care done there now. Highly recommended. Very professional and they are not pushy salesman types just very knowledgeable and informative.

George and John have been helping me out for years. I never have to wait. Everything is done within a reasonable time. If I have any problems they take care of it right away. I can't say enough about this clay store. On route 57, they are very, very good at what they do.

Great service, Black Friday special, can't be beat! I made my appointment at 3:00 p.m., for a 4:00 service and my car was done by 4:45. Four new tires, for the price of two. One happy fella. Also, the guys were pleasant and seemed genuine. I will consider pep boys for my future auto service needs. I didn't realize they were this efficient.

I’m from SC, was driving in Syracuse, friday morning I got a flat tire! Fortunately I had a spare. I called multiple places in town and Randy told me to come on in so he could take a look and see what he could do. I was in desperate need so I could safely drive back home. Thankfully Randy had called, ordered and installed the new tire and I was on my way before 5pm. 10/10 recommend! Thank you!

Third time I have gone to have tires done and my valve stems were leaking. First two times were a 2002 Nissan Frontier and 2001 Toyota Camry. My father was a master mechanic and as time goes on we find ourselves to busy to do our own work so we pay professionals to do it for us. Well every time I see on the bill they charge for new valve stems. First two times over a long period of time with the first two vehicles that leaked I figured well maybe they just made a mistake. This third time with my wife’s new Toyota Highlander I decided not to waste my Saturday and fuel once again waiting for them to fix it. I grabbed my fathers tire machine and couldn’t believe what I saw on my new valve stem I payed for already. In the picture you can see on a brand new valve stem it looks like it is 10 years old corroded so bad it’s lifting the seal and anything but new. I am done with PepBoys and I will continue to do my own work from now on.
