Best mechanic I've ever been to. Just good people and good service. They're clearly knowledgeable and care about their work. The customer service is also incredibly friendly, and they're always fair and honest with their pricing.
I continue to use Raymond’s. Just got muffler/exhaust done. They caught that the muffler was still under warranty. Saved $300. Very honest and trustworthy.
The garage because the car died in the middle of the road to see if the tow people could tow it to the garage. They told us can't get to it this week but we will next week. They never got us in for 3 weeks. Then they quoted us $250 for the timing belt and finally after me bugging them for my son they got the car done and the job was now 850 some odd dollars. He never communicated anything with us. He never talked to us. The only call that I made was to Alex and he said if I wanted to do the whole entire timing belt kit it would be $1,300 and if not it would be the original price quoted of 250. When it came down to it they did not need the whole timing belt kit and the bill was $800 and some $9. I complained and tried to have an adult conversation with the owner Raymond and he said he wasn't going to argue with me that I was being unrealistic + I only told him that I wasn't arguing and they should be talking to us first before they charged us anything $250. Was it for just the timing belt? Nothing else was discussed then Alex denied ever saying that he quoted $250 and Raymond said what is it going to take to make you happy and he was very rude to me and I said I will pay what's fair but nothing was discussed. As far as a diagnostic fee of $150 and usually any other shop you go to the diagnostic fee goes towards the repairs. I've called several places and that's what everybody does and Raymond said no, that's not the way he works. But that diagnostic fee was never mentioned once. Very unprofessional. That took a month for my son to get his car back and he was very rude. I will never bring my car there again and the other people that live in Liverpool that go there also are aware of it and they will not either
The worst experience ever. If there were no stars I would give it. No ability to discuss concerns, a bully. Over talks and shuts conversations down. Talking with them is counterproductive. Rude, will not listen. Will never use again and will make sure no one else does. I was traumatized by the experience, especially the customer service.
Been going to Ray’s since the kids were in high school. Kids would drop off the car in the morning, pick it up after school and we would go up any pay him when we got home. Very honest, doesn’t over sell, warranted the work, and will let you if the car is worth repairing, or time to update your transportation. Never go anywhere else!!!
