Amazing vintage and antique store in Harlem. I went there to see the collection and I have to say : it is huge. The variety of the collection is wonderful. There are a lot of different rooms. You can even find old public material of New York. I will definitely come back with more time to have a look at everything.

I guess if it's the only salvage yard you can get to then it's worth poking around. Some interesting pieces but selection was disappointing. Prices are pretty skewed compared to other places just west or upstate. Wasn't very easy to work with, kept leading us on about stock they supposedly had but which we couldn't track down.

The owner, Evan Blum, owns an abandoned warehouse in Albany that he refused to clean up and which dumped chunks of debris onto Amtrak tracks, causing all trains out of Albany to be cancelled indefinitely. Hundreds of NYers have and will miss trains and had cancelled trips because of him. Rather than clean up his property, he sued the city so it could continue to decay. He also owes back taxes on the property and refuses to pay it. We deserve better than business people like this who disrespect our community and our public transportation. If you do business with him, you are part of the problem.

My wonderful vintage wrought iron door from Demolition Depot was just installed by Promaster Gates. It's spectacular, couldn't be happier or more satisfied with both companies. Ilona at Demolition was so helpful and patient with me. She went out of her way to help navigate what would or wouldn't work for my project. She she spent loads of time with me to find the perfect solution to my unique security problem. She was candid and had loads of amazing tips for the care and feeding of old wrought iron. This project would have stalled without her. The pictures show the iron door in the second stage. Final painting will happen when the weather warms up. Thanks Ilona it's been a great experience. You have so many beautiful things, I want more!

The owner doesn't take good care of items he purchases and is currently leaving a massive and dangerous eyesore in the community.

Not much left at this location. The nice sales associate told us that they have moved most of the artifacts to Connecticut.

Not there anymore. There is a number to call, and when you call they will give you another number to call. They apparently moved to a large warehouse in Connecticut but they would not give the address.

A really neat experience whether you are in the market for a new fireplace mantle or not.

All I can say is wow. The man at the front desk, think his name was Joe was nice. He helped with various prices. I'm a frequent antique shopper all over the Northeast and this place was by far the most cost inflated place I have ever stepped foot in regarding antiques. During my visit I ran into various designers from Manhattan that shopped here for their clients. The prices amazed me since PA and NJ are so close and are antique Mecca's at extremely reasonable prices. There was a circa 1950's cast iron sink with no price or tag. The man that was helping me had to reach out to the manager for pricing. She brought a book with some pics, none of which was the same as the item I was looking at. She had absolutely no knowledge of it's age, cost, or the fact that it was for a surface mount plumbing fixture since it had no holes. The porcelain coating was scratched and missing small chunks. She randomly quoted a price of $1500. $1500??????? They are all over Craigslist for under $150. This place is such a rip-off. The lady with the little boy haircut doesn't know anything about her business or how to treat its customers. They also quoted me $7500 for a small chandelier that they claimed was bronze. It was a cast brass chandelier. I bought a similar one on eBay for $350 which had all the glass globes intact. This one didn't. If you have any idea of the price of antiques and have a vehicle there is no reason to shop here. Go look around and laugh at the pricing. This place is for people that can't be bothered and send their designers with a driver in their Escalade. Out of my 25 years of antiquing this place has left such a foul taste in my mouth. This is not what antiquing is about and if they had better pricing it would allow younger people to get involved and get an interest to salvage items in this short term, toss out world that we live in. Shame I didn't meet the owner. I'm sure he has extensive knowledge and great stories. They need to keep the lady with the little boy haircut in the yard with the statues to rot. $1500. Lol. That'll be a great story to tell around the camp fire.

This is probably the best place to find amazing vintage and antique pieces in NYC. The owner and staff are a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended!!

High-end architectural salvage --- from small decorative items and hardware to large architectural elements and mantles. They both sell and rent items. The “showroom” is comprised of four levels and a back patio. Be aware there are no price tags; visitors are encouraged to take pictures and/or jot down inventory numbers for assistance at the front desk. No elevator.

Great place to visit!! Very interesting artifacts. Wish I had a place big enough to actually shop here!! The management is very accommodating. Bring your walking shoes! 4 floors and a back yard to check out.

Love this place. A designer's dream come true! I have to admit that it's not your average antique store. A lot of pieces are used by production designer's who are borrowing them for TV and movies. But it is definitely a place every interior designer or design novice should visit. Amazing

Super cool place, lots of floors -- seemed haunted! Cool af! I went with my friend to gov ball, and this place caught my eye on the way! I was very interested in the large selection of old knick knacks and items they had to offer. They even had a floor full of antique statues and bathtubs which was far more interesting that I would've guessed!

A great place to visit, even if you don't plan on making a purchase. the wide variety of unusual things, from crystal doorknobs to entire cars, makes it an unforgettable experience. The organization of the store is a bit disorienting. WARNING: it is almost definitely haunted
