Johnny and his team not only do a perfect job on the cars but they also do the job with a full heart. Extremely kind father and son team who work hard at making sure your car is returned to you perfectly. Very trustworthy people. They’re my go to guys for all my cars.
My husband‘s Jeep was damaged by a careless driver. It needed some body work done. Upon the recommendation of a friend we were directed to Auto Repair of Great Neck. Johnny, one of the owners gave us a reasonable cost for the repair. The repair was done in a very timely manner. We were extremely pleased with the result. You could not tell that there was any damage done to the driver’s side door. If you need any body work done, I highly recommend this business.
As harsh as l've been in my previous reviews about this auto shop, sometimes their prices are just too tough to beat. Owner seems like a nice fella. Old schoo My main issue in the past were mainly some of his mechanics. I dropped off my car in the morning to have my engine belt replaced and he got it done within the day.
I noticed the factory belt looked a little worn out and I figure it's best to get that changed before winter time. It's better to be safe than sorry so I went ahead and got that all done on Friday.
The car came back fresh, nothing unusual, no joy riding, my radio station presets were all still intact. For mechanical fixes, minor stuff, inspection, I would recommend them. But as far as body work, paint, I would go elsewhere. If you happen to own any German vehicles, Mini, BMW, Mercedes, and encounter the common check engine lights, malfunctions, have these guys take a look before letting the dealership service center rip you off. Do yourself a favor and save yourself a couple of hundred to a couple of thousand by just having these guys work on your car. Some electrical malfunctions may require the dealership service center to fix but if it's mechanical, engine, these guys are more than likely able to do the job for a much lesser cost.
I’ve been here a few times for various reasons like oil changes, inspections, and random issues with my car. I’ve always been treated respectfully and fairly and the prices seem reasonable. They have always been prompt with their work and I would highly recommend to others.
So nice to have an honest mechanic and body shop. They performed the job flawlessly, at a reasonable price and completed the work earlier than anticipated. I will definitely use these guys every time I have a car issue.
I am very happy with the body work that Auto Repair of Great Neck did on my 06 Acura TSX. Both George and Johnny were professional, courteous, and fair in their price.
Refused to give price for timing belt/water pumpo replacement over the phone. Told me I have to bring the car in for them to give me a price. Shady. It's a standard job, like an oil change. There is no reason to withhold price.
Great work! Jonny is a very nice man, works quick and calm. Truthfully I wouldn't come here for such large accidents but for a large dent or scratch fix, I would take it here over any where else in great neck.
by far the best body shop in great neck. george and johnny are extremely fair with their pricing and very accommodating to my needs. they always provide me with a detailed description of the work they are going to complete. it’s very nice to see how much this business has grown over the years. i have been coming here for over 10 years and plan on using them as long as i have too. they dont judge you by the type of car you are driving like many other people in this business. they are true gentlemen! thanks for serving our community!
