A great LIRR station. Lots of seats, lots of shops around, NICE bus stop near by. Very convenient way to get to Manhattan (22 min express train).

Good station, has food and drink stands. Ticket machines are easy to access. Nice, long platform to get on and off the train. You go up the steps and there’s a bus stop and taxis right there for you. Extremely convenient. My only concern would be the occasional smell of urine below the bridge but aside from that good station

It's always great to ride the LIRR. It is convenient and always a spot to sit in when entering the train. Upscale seats and clean.

Absolutely horrible experience… I go to the city sometimes and of course naturally I would like to park at the train station but unfortunately there is always funeral going on and ballets take all the spots which is not fair to the people who is taking the train into the city! This is insane. On the top of that you get harassed by the vallets. This MUST stop!!!!

Convenient station, but the ticket machine here doesn't work reliably. I tried my card, was charged and yet no ticket dispensed because the credit card reader stalled for a minute and then the machine reset.

Update #3 (10/25/21): Very pleased, the station is better than it has been in a long time. New tracks for both platforms completed over the summer are visiable and all staircases are open! Completely clear lot with plenty of parking spots for registered GNP commuters for those who are handicapped or disabled long-term or short-term and people who bike to the station! Also, on-site notification of off-peak fares still in effect, increase of trains servicing the station per hour (including express trains) and still required mask use onboard! Seriously amazing. Keep it up! Update #2 (10/5/21): Nice new tracks with both platforms A and B in use! All fares are currently off-peak. All entrances to the station are clear and accessible, from the parking lot to the street to the staircases at the ends of both sides of the stations! MUST WEAR A MASK ON BOARD! You can be fined up $50 and even removed off of the train. Confirmed by on-board automated vocal announcements. Just do it. Only concern: For those hard of hearing, the volume of station announcements on loudspeakers at the station is low. Update #1 (8/12/21): Station has been cleaned up a bit. Anyway, Until 8/29/21, all westbound and eastbound trains will depart from Track A (the side by the parking lot). Also, please check the train schedule online, as train service has been limited. Indoor waiting room at station is only open until 1:30PM. ALSO, for no-maskers, be aware that you must wear a mask on the train or you will be fined $50. Confirmed by train conductor on 8/12. WEAR A MASK! Original Review (7/25/21): Ever since 6/19, this station has been nothing but pain. Also, because the stairs and elevator for the side where handicap parking is located on Track A, the side where construction is being performed, please provide an update. I have submitted the update. Lastly, when is construction on Track A and the one-train-per-hour to Penn Station going to end? It would be nice to have a clear/approximate date with signs on the site saying SOMETHING, especially sections of the station itself is blocked off by tape.
