I just purchased my first Subaru from Mid-Hudson Subaru, and I truly had such a great experience from start to finish. Marion and Cheri at the front desk welcomed me right away, offered snacks and drinks, and immediately made me feel comfortable. Alex, my sales consultant, was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely easy to work with. He made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free, and I never felt pressured. Everything was fairly priced and transparent, which I really appreciated. Erik in finance made the paperwork quick and simple, and Joe, the sales manager, took the time to check in and make sure I felt welcomed and taken care of. Reached out to keven for an inquiry about a few cars i was looking at, he immediately got back to me and took the time needed to help get me into my 2025 crosstrek wilderness, he was beyond kind and patient while working with my horrible schedule he went above and beyond as he has done for many other i know. I work in the industry myself so finding that “right” person is extremely difficult but with him it was a breeze!!! When it came down to everything else each person took the time to go over everything in depth as well they all addressed every question and concern despite even being there past closing! They were not pushy or persistent with anything and just went at my pace so if you don’t want the typical sales runaround and actually want to be treated like a person instead of a walking pay day you may want to stop by and check out their collection of subies! Ohh by the way second picture is of the manuals for the car that he took the time to mark each important page/section and even color coded everything my ocd is quite satisfied to say the least!

I am ecstatically happy with my experience at mid-hudson subaru. Brandon Velez helped me and he was phenomenal. I felt welcome, taken care of, and like he genuinely cared about my having the experience I voiced wanting. Very refreshing after some of the car search experiences I've had with other dealerships in the past. I came in already knowing which car I wanted to look at, having already been approved for a loan from my bank. They did not try to upset me a different vehicle, had the impreza I wanted ready for test drive right away, and once I went forward they actually beat the interest rate if my bank substantially and saved me a fair amount of money on my purchase. I was in and out with my new impreza in about 3 or so hours with no hassle. He has since called in to check in with me to make sure I'm happy with the car too. I will be recommending all of my friends purchase vehicles here going forward.

This is what buying a car should be like. We came to a deal on the phone and when we arrived at the dealership to sign it was exactly as we discussed. No games, no endless time waiting to "show it to the manager" etc. Best of all, they offered us the exact deal as advertised on the Subaru national website without the all-too-common practice of claiming those prices are "not really available." The delivery experience was perfect. Our sales rep, Anthony, was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. The entire process was not only easy, but was actually enjoyable. Everybody we dealt with, from the General Manager Tricia to the Finance Manager Erik and the Product Expert Rich were first rate professionals who were a joy to work with. Absolutely the best car buying experience we ever had and we have been buying cars since the 1970s! If you are in the market for a Subaru and live anywhere near Mid-Hudson Subaru, this is the only place to go.

Keven (salesman) was absolutely amazing from step 1. Never once did I feel I was being coerced into making a decision I wasn’t ready for. I felt nothing but support from him. He should be so proud of how he does his job. So personable. He even went as far as color coordinating and highlighting the owners manual of the car to make it the easiest to find what I’m looking for- although I have not needed to open it because he so thoroughly explained every inch of the car! Other dealerships should take note and Keven should be recognized for how amazing he is! Than you Keven! You made me love Subaru ?

I have leased 3 vehicles from Rick Davis at Mid Hudson SUBARU. He is very helpful and takes the time to make sure I have no questions or concerns. The finance person, I don’t remember his name but he explained everything I was signing. There was no pressure to try an sell me additional plans or services. Every one at this dealership was great.

Buying my first car felt intimidating, but Mark and Gary made the entire experience genuinely comfortable and empowering. Mark treated me like his own child, someone patient, protective, and truly invested in making sure I felt confident and excited rather than overwhelmed. He never pressured me and took the time to explain things in a way that actually made sense. Gary was just as incredible on the financial side. He walked me through every step carefully, answered every question without rushing, and never once made me feel unwise for not already knowing how this process works. Together, they turned what could have been a stressful milestone into a positive, memorable experience.

I was having issues with my 2020 Outback (my 4th vehicle with MidHudson). It was a battery and a few maintenance issues. At the time there were "no coupons" for any of the services I was getting done. I spoke with the new service manager Sal - and because I've been a loyal customer he worked with me to get a good deal with my service invoice. I was a happy camper. I've been a good customer to Mid Hudson Subaru, worked with Kevin Nolan, in the past and every single person in that dealership is competent and helpful. Again this is my 4th vehicle in 30 years? A good team.

I ended up buying from this dealership because of the reviews and how the staff initially treated my wife and I when test driving used cars. I wish I had never step foot in this place and would rate my experience lower if I could. Overall this was the worst car buying experience I’ve ever had and would highly advise buying your vehicle elsewhere. My main issue was they are not friendly towards outside financing and have greedy owners only focused on mitigating their potential financial risk. They will not mention their strict stance on financing from outside entities until they get you locked in on a vehicle. For financing, they are a dealerships that will only accept certified checks outside of their internal options. No “bank draft checks” will be accepted which seems to apply to anything other than a certified check. This is NOT mentioned initially and they will throw every roadblock up that they can if you have pre-approved financing. My bank is, and will remain to be, Navy Federal Credit Union; a federally recognized, well known, and well respected company. This is not some “sketchy” bank that will “burn” the dealership as they claim is likely to happen. I had to make two trips to my local bank office the day of purchasing the used vehicle because of their stringent demands coming “from the [greedy] owner.” One of these trips occurred after the salesperson and main office verified they would accept the check provided by my bank after making a trip that morning before our afternoon appointment. They asked I make another trip down to my bank to get a certified check that added 3 hours to this whole ordeal. I highly regret my decision and would not have gone through with it if I had not already had a deposit down. I will never step foot in this dealership again even though I have “Lifetime VIP treatment.” I do not feel like a VIP and this location apparently only served to stuff the owners pockets. I hope you, potential buyers, will learn from my unfortunate experience and never visit this dealership. Find a different location altogether to get your vehicles from. I cannot comment on their service but my vehicle will never be on this lot again; even with the “free” oil changes and basic, routine maintenance promised as a supposed VIP. Unfortunately it seems like another once liked dealership falling by the wayside of new owners prioritizing monetary gains over working with their customers…

After going to this dealership for service for years and having great experiences, sad to say things have gone down hill since the new owners have taken over. Last two visits gave wildly incorrect estimates on how long service would take and they made sure to pressure us each time into services we did not need (just one example among several, strongly recommended a battery cleaning on a battery that was less than 4 months old). Last visit, we just went in for an inspection and it ended up taking almost 4 hours (originally said 1 to 1.5 hours). All this in addition to raised prices on everything. Gave them feedback on their survey too but never heard anything.

I bought a 2025 Forester Wilderness from Brandon Velez last Sunday, 11/29/25. Brandon went up and beyond my expectations and my husbands expectations in accommodating us. Firstly we didn't arrive until after 12 pm and he was able to get us to leave with out new Forester by 5 pm on a Sunday Thanksgiving weekend! He was patient, detailed and knowledgeable. We were quite impressed that he was able to contact our insurance company who are the most difficult to reach (based on our past experiences) and make this all happen on the same day. He explained everything clearly to me about my new car and I feel comfortable to be able to contact him anytime if I have questions. Brandon is an asset and an important member to the Mid-Hudson Subaru family. We are happy to have the opportunity to work with him.

Very disappointed in this dealership. I brought my car in for inspection and they said it would take an hour. They recommended 5 services so it will now take longer. I respectively asked for a ride home so I could not waste my whole day sitting in show room. They refused even though I am purchasing over 1K in services when I used to be able to get a loaner car every time I brought my Subaru in. It is making me rethink my choice in dealerships and even purchasing another Subaru.

I have been going to MidHudson Subaru for over ten years to service my Legacy. Since their move to their new location, which is such an improvement compared to the former location, I’ve had the good fortune to have Amanda Ventresca assigned to my account. She has been so helpful. She explains the service needs to me in plain language that I can understand. She is always professional and makes me feel like valued customer. I will never forget the time when my dashboard lit up with so many warning lights. When I called, she calmly told me to bring the car in and made sure I had a loaner car. Then she followed up with status reports to keep me informed. Today I brought my car in for an inspection. She greeted me with a big smile. I’ve always have a positive experience at MidHudson Subaru, and Amanda is a big reason why. And the snack bar is a nice perk as well.

Bought a used car here. I found the staff very helpful and friendly... even though I didn't buy a Subaru, they still went the extra mile to be helpful and get me into a wonderful hybrid. Tony was my salesman...great guy! José was the finance guy and he was so knowledgeable! Amanda in service was so sweet! I would go back here...the Subarus are so pretty!

Hands down the best experience I have ever had while looking for a car. This is the first dealership that truly cared about helping me and not looking for a profit. Keven Baughman is the most genuine, caring, intelligent salesman that I have ever had the privilege of working with. Between him and Trish, I truly felt like they were looking out for my best interest. Trish was able to secure a loan, even though I did not have the best credit. Keven was thorough and suggested a different car than the one I originally was shopping for due to additional storage space. I will DEFINITELY be returning for every car that I will need in the future. Thank you Mid Hudson Subaru, Keven, and Trish for making this painful process so incredibly easy. I brought my car in for its 12,000 mile service today. As I was checking in I saw all these signs saying they are now charging a 3% fee if using a credit card. I thought this was quite odd. A car dealership charging an extra 3% if using a credit card?? This is not some local mom and pop shop! I waited over 2 hours for this service to be complete and then got a text about possible additions to the already overcharged bill that I was going to have to pay. When I went to ask a question about the text I was basically dismissed by the service woman at the counter. When my car was finally finished I was told I had to pay the 3% extra if using my credit card or use my debit card and not be charged the fee. Now, I had a 10.00 coupon but that would be a wash if I used my credit card. I did complain to the women at the desk and their response was “ We understand but we just work here.” My husband and I have owned 4 Subarus and this is the first time we have purchased from Mid-Hudson Subaru and it will be my last time doing business with them! FYI I called Colonial Subaru in Danbury and Brewster Subaru and neither dealership charges this 3% fee when using a credit card.The people on the phone were actually floored that this is a current practice. Is this dealership implying they are not giving the same quality service ? In my experience the customer service at the other dealerships was quite welcoming and helpful with an actual person coming to speak to you about any car issues; not a text! I read another review with a similar complaint and the response by this owner was truly unreal. So Mid Hudson Subaru has a new owner and I understand each dealership is independently owned but I will assume each dealership has to abide by Subaru’s corporate Social Responsibility that states they will have ethical business practices ! Shame on you Mid- Hudson Subaru you are far from this!

The process was smooth! I never felt rushed, had all my questions answered and with a smile. Billy my salesperson was very knowledgeable. Every interaction I had from the front desk to sales then chatting with the manager and then finance was positive. They even have someone contact you in a couple weeks to see if you have any questions about the car, if so, bring it in and they will go over anything needed.

Easily the best car purchasing experience I’ve ever had in my life. The customer service all around was amazing. I did end up purchasing a car. I’m very happy with it. I also couldn’t figure out how to get a ride when I needed to and they didn’t even hesitate and just came to pick me up. Jamal was my salesman and he was super knowledgeable and really made me feel comfortable with the purchase. Patricia, the sales manager was super accommodating, and the finance team was very knowledgeable as well. Good attitudes and good energy all around I will definitely be purchasing more vehicles from them.

Had a wonderful experience at Mid Hudson Subaru! Everyone was very personable, friendly, and made you feel a part of a family. Anthony was a top-notch salesman, with no sales pressure, just very helpful, taking a personal interest in my circumstances & what I was looking for. Sales manager, Trish, was also exceptional, taking a personal interest in finding the right vehicle for me and going out of her way to get me what I needed. Even the FA, Gary, was very personable & worked with me to get only the protection I wanted at an affordable price. I am proud to be a Subaru owner!
