I had some very unfortunate car trouble (read: accident) in the area which left my beloved Honda Fit wheel-less and headed for the scrap yard. In the process, I was very lucky that Renato was available to help and generously offered to guide me through a stressful situation dealing with towing, insurance and a replacement car rental. Without going too much into detail, I just wish I had brought my car to Action Automotive in the first place––it’s likely my car would still be driving today. Anyway, Renato is a rare class act in what is often (in the city, at least) a shadowy business and he was very generous with his knowledge and expertise. Thank you again, Renato! You’re a mensch and a truly good dude.
Following an accident the car was towed to Action Auto, what an experience dealing with the Insurance company. Thank goodness Renato was able to guide me through this nightmare and for fighting for the necessary supplements, despite the fact the car had only a little over 4000 miles on the odometer the insurance company would only agree to pay for parts from used or foreign manufacturers, and not OEM parts
The repairs were carried out in a very timely manner using mostly OEM parts, what a beautiful job Renato did, his expertise and knowledge is second to none. I would highly recommend Action Automotive.
Returning home from your Babymoon, 7 months pregnant, to discover that your car has been towed is an objectively awful experience. Yet by the time my husband and I finished the process retrieving our car from Renato, we were somehow in a great mood. Our faith in humanity restored. And if you’ve ever had your car towed you know that’s saying a lot.
Renato is kind, fair, funny, highly efficient and competent, firm yet accommodating. He was a total shining light in an otherwise awful moment. We live in Newburgh but will be making the trip to Wappingers for any car related needs going forward. His is the kind of business you’re grateful to find, tell all your friends and family about, and continue to go out of your way for throughout a lifetime.
So beyond grateful.
I had gotten my car towed in an unfortunate situation. As soon as we met up with Renato, my wife and I were both heartened by his warm presence, his intelligence and great sense of humor. He said, "you didn't expect me to be this good-looking, did you?" Lol. My wife is pregnant, and as he towed our car home, he asked if he could stop by the store and grab some water for her! Not a lie--this guy is a prince. He was specific, direct and fair the entire time. Business is all about relationships. And Renato understands this on a fairly legendary level. We don't live that close to his shop, yet we're still going to try and use him whenever we can going forward.
I live across the street and never brought my car over to be serviced. Tried them today and everything was great.. wish I would of gone here sooner. Thanks again...
Good set of guys, towed my truck from an intersection on a weekend after the motor locked up...gave me some options at diffrent price ranges for a new motor... got it all done did a great job fair and honest people.

I was in a pretty nerve-wracking fender bender a few weeks ago where the main point of collision knocked my tire out of alignment and made it so I couldn't safely drive home. After much agony and stress courtesy of a recalcitrant insurance company dragging their heels about being of any help whatsoever and needing to call family for backup, these glorious gentlemen got my car into even better shape than the day I got it. If you are in the area, I sing these professionals' praises, I cannot thank them enough much less recommend them more. These guys are incredible. Not only did they help me with my accident after I was rear ended but then just out of kindness my wife dropped her earring down her seat and they pulled the whole seat out for her to find it. We can’t thank these guys enough, they’re just amazing people who do amazing work. You’d be crazy not to go here.
The starter stopped working in my car so I brought it to Action Automotive. They were able to find me the best price on a starter and install it all in the same day! I highly recommend Action Automotive.
I cannot say enough good things about Action Automotive. These guys know cars in and out! I recently had an accident, and it was 100% the other driver's fault. Their insurance company tried to scam me every way they could, but Renato fought them tooth and nail and forced them to do the right thing. Action repaired my vehicle, and it looks brand new. And, they even cleaned it, detailed it and topped off all the fluids! I trust them for all my vehicle needs, so much so that I actually bought a car from them!

Amazing experience. Renato and his team were simply amazing in repairing my vehicle after I hit a deer with extensive damage. They demonstrated superb customer service and communication throughout the entire process. Trust worthy, explained everything, and helped me navigate everything I needed to regarding insurance and obtaining a rental. They truly made the process as pain-free as possible give the situation and even returned my rental for me. The repair work was beautifully completed, and they even washed and cleaned my interior (which admittedly was a mess at the time of the accident!). This was my first experience and would without hesitation recommend Action Automotive to anyone needing these types of services. A+++++

Repaired my car after an accident. They took just over a week, got me a great deal on a rental, communicated the whole time, and saved me $300 on my deductible. The car looks and runs great. I highly recommend them to anyone needing work on their car.
