These guys were great. Arrived on scene to tow very quickly and squeezed me onto their busy schedule fior an excellent repair tgat seems reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

This is how you show up for the community. Wappingers Auto Tech showed up when no one else could. It was a dark, cold and snowy night. We were on the way back from seeing family. Our truck blew a tire. We were stuck in a dangerous spot on RT-9. I tried for over an hour to get the insurance to send roadside, but no one in the area was open/available. I was given the number for wappingers auto tech and they were able to send someone quickly to help get me and the two babies off the side of the road. 10/10 would recommend them for all your towing needs! Floyd was professional, quick thinking and kind given my nervousness with two babies on the side of the road.

Trustworthy. My son attempted to replace the axle on his Jetta. He was unable to disconnect the axle from the transmission. We got it back together. Auto tech bailed us out. Not a lot of shops will take on a job like that. It's like having a friend in the business. I'm greatful.

I have had my car serviced here for a couple of years, and they have always done a great job at a fair price. The staff is also very friendly and pleasant . They never try to push extra services that are not necessary and will work within my budget. I highly recommend this place!

My engine blew & I was towed to Wappingers Auto Tech. Everyone was SO HELPFUL!!! They went out of their way to ensure that my vehicle was repaired to better than its original condition. I'm so pleased with their work!

I dont always write reviews because I just don't always think to do it. However, this was an absolute must. I normally come to Mavis just because its close to my house so its convenient. However, I couldnt get in today because they were booked so I called everywhere and no one could take me in as it was mid afternoon. However, I needed an inspection done and oil change which both were important but I was pulled over for expired inspection which honestly didn't even realize it so anyway, as i was on my way to Mavis I got pulled over again even though I was trying to get it done. Well I called Auto Tech and they were closing in less than an hour. They said come on over and omg I am absolutely grateful. Not only that but staff is just super friendly and down to Earth. I will come here for now on! Thank you for being so nice and accommodating to my situation. ❤️

My Pontiac GTO failed to start in the East Fishkill rest area on I-84. The next morning NYSP arranged for Wappingers to pick it up and I elected to take it to their shop. They quickly diagnosed the problem -- the fuel pump -- and miraculously found a replacement, this being a 20-year old car built in Australia and sold in the U.S. for only three years, 2004-2005. They had it running and back on the road before noon the next day and kept me informed during the repair. Financially, despite being a one-time customer from 3-hours away, I was treated more than fairly. Everyone at the shop and office was engaged, helpful and cheerful. Wappingers Auto Tech is a gem: competent, honest, helpful and responsive and I can't recommend it more highly.

Had to have my ram 2500 towed off the road with a bad wheel bearing. Josh was communicative, quick, and professional. I have a ram, I know about being towed. If you find yourself in need, call Wappingers auto tech.

Took my 28k miles camaro here when hooking up the computer to do an inspection the door was about just touching the wall guess when he put the sticker on the short guy I am sure had a hard time reaching my sticker... end result my fiberglass door has a crack in it now all this car does is sit in a garage I take it to get inspected and this happend fiberglass door or to fix this is not cheap and was an original door!!

I would hands down go back. I’ve been to so many auto mechanics but after going I would def go back with ALL my cars to get work done. They don’t charge an arm and a leg and know what they are doing. Will recommend to friends and family.

The owner who is semi-retired came out to help me get air into my tires even tho the shop was closed for lunch. We got it done with a little help from the mechanic who came off break. I really appreciate the effort. Putting air in tires and getting the right pressure is not as easy as it used to be. Thanks guys.

Was over due for an oil change. These guys got me in and out in a short time. Very friendly and highly professional. Definitely will be back for any service my car will need.

My family and I were on vacation in the Catskills and our water pump broke on our Suburban. We were 4 hours from home and in a desperate situation with all of our luggage and car seats being an issue. The professional staff at Wappanger Auto Tech were able to get our truck fixed in 2 hours! They saved the day! Great experience. 5 stars

When my car broke down 2 hours away from home they were super nice and accomodating. They fixed my car no problem, relatively cheaply and quickly. It is near a train station so I could easily come back and get my car! Would go back again if it wasn't two hours away!

I called triple A and they sent Brian from Wappingers Auto Tech for a battery jump. I suspected that it was my battery and had already gotten a quote from “my car guy in Beacon”. I decided to get a new battery. Not only did Wappingers Auto Tech charge me less than half the rate of my regular guy they did it quickly with amazing service! This shop will be my new “car guy!” Thank you all for the incredible service and great pricing.

Wappingers Auto Tech took care of my car amazingly. Ashley was very pleasant, and thorough everytime I called. Communication and service were both great. Highly recommend this place for any vehicle repairs!

These guys are great! They came and got my power machines on a trailer really quickly & have fixed my machines to top spec. They also give me a heads up before they button everything up, like asking to sharpen my tractor blades, grease the grease points, etc. They're good, so they're busy & there can be a wait to get your machine back, just don't be looking for a super fast turn around, the turn around is adequate.

A real treasure of a place, with kind, helpful employees. Chris was the most kind and courteous tow truck driver I've ever met. Wappingers was able to identify the problem, place the order for the component, and even permitted me to leave my car there for a few days while I was out of town. Additionally, they gave me a AAA discount without my even asking. Excellent service at a reasonable cost. :)

Was told by another automobile shop that my front coil spring was broken and would not pass NY Inspection. Since I couldn't feel anything when I went over bumps and the car wasn't sagging on the one side I wanted to get a second opinion. Well without an appointment I drove in they took me within 5 minutes check my SUV brought me into show me where the crack was in the spring. They were extremely nice and did not charge me a thing. They will get all my business now for car maintenance in the future. Everyone there could not have been any nicer. Great customer service that you usually don't get anymore. Thank you so much!

Buying a car? Bring it here for an independent inspection. I am a AAA member and found this business through the AAA website. I called in the morning and they were able to fit me in the afternoon. I had concerns regarding a potential used vehicle purchase. I wanted a mechanic with no skin in the game to look it over and tell me if he saw any red flags. They threw it on the lift and looked it over. Took them approximately 30 minutes. While the car dealer salesman tried to make me feel like I was crazy to take it out for an independent review, all the staff in this shop agreed with me and assured me I did the right thing. Sales people want the sale. It is the responsibility of the consumer to advocate for themselves and get it reviewed by someone with nothing to gain or lose by telling the truth. After completing his inspection the mechanic came out to talk to me and ask me questions and make sure I was getting the right warrantys and guarantees when buying the vehicle. I purchased my vehicle with the ability to lay my head down at night knowing I did everything I could to advocate for myself and ensure I wasn't buying a lemon. While it may be a lemon, only time will tell. They had a reasonable price for the look-over. I highly recommend everyone in the area go see them when purchasing a vehicle.

The staff was a bit rude over the phone and, their tone definitely matches many of the reviews posted here. I also asked them to call me back after they were able to get more information about how long it would take to diagnose the problems on my car (another shop told me it would take at least 3 hours given the nature of the problem, however AutoTech kept telling me to leave the car with them for only 1 hour – so the person on the phone said they would check to see what was involved), and they never called me back. Do not go here if you have other options.

Phil was super busy yet still found a few minutes to pull my AC refrigerant out and put it back in and verified compressor was good with no leaks. I am so very grateful.

Was so upset when I had to have my car unexpectedly towed a few days ago, but they were so great! Super fair pricing, quick service, and very nice. They will definitely be my go-to if I ever need a tow again.
