Dr. Negron saw both my wife Sandy and me. Sandy had pain in left foot. Dr Negron did xray and they gave Rx foot brace. She has been wearing brace for ten days and it has truly helped her to walk and move sans pain. He regularly does toe nails for me and this keeps me running at 86. Good for my heart and brain. He makes us stronger and better!
I cannot recommend Dr. Sims highly enough. He has been a true blessing and a constant source of support for my mother since late 2018.

Dr. Erik Sims was highly recommended to my mother, who became his patient and remained in his care for several years. Throughout her time with Dr. Sims, she was consistently pleased with his authentic compassion and the quality of his treatment. He stood out for his remarkable kindness and patience, especially when treating older patients, which is not always found in other healthcare facilities!
Dr. Sims provides a range of specialized services, including the treatment of ingrown toenails, comprehensive diabetic foot care, and wound management. The ongoing positive care that my mother received inspired me to become a patient as well.
During my visits, Dr. Sims carefully listened to my needs and concerns. I never felt rushed, and I trust his treatment and recommendations. Dr. Sims’s medical assistant, Ms. Katie, was attentive and efficient. She prepared my feet for the doctor's exam and answered all my questions. The front desk team is also exceptional, with Ms. Jannette providing excellent service.
The new office on Eastdale Avenue has significant upgrades. The waiting area is comfortable, the exam rooms are spacious, and there are two conveniently located bathrooms for patient use. While I would appreciate automatic entry doors, the proximity of the parking lot minimizes any inconvenience.
I am extremely satisfied with Dr. Erik Sims and his entire staff, and I would highly recommend their services to others seeking quality podiatric care.
Six weeks ago today, Dr. Sitek did my foot surgery, and I’m very pleased with how well it turned out. Prior to the surgery, she explained everything thoroughly, and is very good at keeping me in the loop about what to do next after the surgery. The staff in the Poughkeepsie, and Highland offices are very nice, and friendly, especially Kim. I will continue to get my podiatry needs done at Sims & Associates Podiatry. I highly recommend.
Staff is polite and informative. Dr. Kolber is an excellent podiatrist. Concern and attentive to our needs. We are truly grateful for a wonderful experience.
Recieved custom orthotics and they are horrible. I booked an appointment elsewhere going forward. They scan you with an iPad and make you put a deposit down even with insurance.
Dr. Negron is the best Podiatry doctor I've ever had. He is always kind and polite. He's an expert at keeping the foot strong. I'm an 86 year old runner. Ran many marathons in my younger years. And Podiatrists kept me going. I'm so grateful to have the superb care that Dr. Negron provides to me. I would not still be running without him! If you are in the Hudson Valley, he is the man to see.
Dr Sims is an amazing doctor. Is caring compassionate very professional but most of all he listens. His staff is just wonderful! I have nothing bad to say about anybody everyone has been nothing but professional kind and compassionate. I've recommended others to Dr. Sims.
I’ve been a patient at this practice for several years and have generally been very satisfied with the care I received. At my most recent visit, I appreciated having my condition diagnosed and a treatment plan established. However, the visit felt a little rushed, and due to how busy the office seemed, I held off on asking additional questions, planning to follow up later instead.
Unfortunately, it took multiple follow-up calls to receive a response and to have my medical records sent, which was frustrating. More concerningly, my X-ray was performed by an unlicensed medical assistant. According to New York Public Health Law §§ 3501 and 3502, only licensed providers and radiologic technologists can legally perform radiographic procedures, including positioning patients and operating X-ray equipment. I confirmed that the medical assistant who conducted my X-ray is not registered as a licensed technologist in the state, which made me concerned about the practice’s adherence to medical regulations. According to NY Education Law §§ 6530 and 6512, this could constitute professional misconduct and could potentially be classed as a felony.
While I’ve had many positive experiences with the practice in the past—especially before its recent expansion—I’ve noticed a decline in both communication and overall quality of care. I hope this feedback is received in the spirit of constructive criticism and helps support efforts to improve patient care and compliance moving forward.
These doctors & staff are amazing, they saved my husband’s life! A few yrs ago he needed emergency surgery. The vascular dr at the ER recommended this group. We are SO thankful they did! The surgery they performed saved my husband’s life. (With in 3hrs of arriving at the ER!) The care after, still to this day is beyond anything you would expect from a dr office. The office is clean, staff are friendly & they give you the care & attention you need. Call, make an appointment & you’ll be happy you did!
I’ve been a patient for many years, and I’ve always had a great experience. The front desk staff are friendly and welcoming, I’ve never had a long wait for my appointment, and the doctors are excellent, professional, knowledgeable, caring…I highly recommend this office!

The practitioners and staff at Sims & Associates Podiatry are the best. They made me feel welcome on my first visit. The care I received from Dr. Cornell is top class. He explains all procedures thoroughly and always checks to make sure I am not in pain.
From the second I walked in, I was greeted with kindness and professionalism. Amanda had an infectious smile that made me feel welcome and she squared me and my son away in a timely fashion. Once my paperwork was done, it took roughly 5 minutes before we were taken back to a room where my son was x-rayed then brought to the exam room. The doctor came in shortly after and was so nice and answered questions I didn’t even think of. Everyone at this office made my son feel comfortable and at ease. The location itself isn’t great but I can’t take stars away for something out of their control.
Made an appointment to have xrays . They gave me a time and day 4:45 on Jan.2nd. I show up and the doors are locked. I called and left a message no one called me back. So I call this morning at 9:11am to find out the receptionist didn't do her job and put me on the schedule and on top of this I was told the doctor wasn't in yesterday anyway.
Dr. Cornell was great! I would highly recommend him to anyone having foot issues. He is highly skilled, takes his time and does a great job! The office staff was also friendly and very competent and professional.
Went to see doctor Sims to get an opinion outside of my area since I had kind of been getting the run around locally of just getting passed between doctors. I confirmed beforehand over the phone that they took my insurance.
Come time for my appointment his office was very nice as well as his staff extremely friendly. I had brought my binder of X-rays and MRIs with me so I can present everything to the doctor. Upon getting to an exam room and explaining my situation the nurse left then came back and said they wanted to do X-rays of my feet. I told them I already had two sets as well as MRIs of both feet and that I had the discs with me as well as the reports. They insisted that they do what would be the fourth set of X-rays I had gotten on my feet in 2 years and they would not look at the multiple sets of identical X-rays I tried to provide. “Don’t worry, your insurance is paying for it” one nurse said with a laugh.
Rest of the visit went fine, doctor was friendly but ultimately unhelpful and referred me to yet another doctor which at this point was expected. I asked for a copy of the X-rays they took on a disk to add to my growing collection now and they told me they “didn’t do that” but since I already had multiple identical X-rays at this point it didn’t really matter.
I thought everything was fine until a few months later a $500 bill comes in the mail citing the X-rays my insurance would not cover. When I called they simply said it wasn’t their responsibility to confirm what my insurance would cover. (Then why assure me my insurance will pay for it during my visit???)
Seems like they just wanted to milk my insurance provider for some extra cash and which then left me on the hook to pay for X-rays I didn’t need when they could have just looked at the 3 other identical sets I had gotten, the most recent of which were less than 6 months old.
I guess the moral here is contact your insurance yourself to make sure they will cover your visit AND any unnecessary x-rays the office might want to do because they’ll just say whatever they need to at the time of your appointment and bill you for it later.
This office is absolutely amazing, the staff is top notch. The office is so clean you can eat off the floor, the selection of Archie’s (flip flops) is great so many colors!!!! They pride themselves on being efficient and friendly! Everyone needs to come into this office to get any feet issues taken care of!
Amazing office. We're were looking for a last minute new patient appointment as my 8yo son broke his toe. They were able to accomodate us. We were greeted with a smile at the front desk, everyone was super nice, the office was very clean and new. Doctor Vysotskyy was very attentive and had great bedside manners. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone
