Best autozone in the area in my opinion. Manager Cami is super helpful. AJ who works there as well. They assisted me with wiper blades and fuses and the whole crew honestly is friendly and kind. Nice place and well run.
Terrible experience!!!! I brought an apart that cost a couple of hundred dollars and paid cash. The gave me the wrong part when I tried retire I kept getting the run around. 1st time was told they didn’t have the cash on hand and come back later. 2nd time was told still no cash and the manager had stepped out and they didn’t know when he would be back. 3rd time next day was told still no cash and manager had left the day. Then was told I could return the part to any store. Call the store in wappingers and was told no cash on hand. Final call the store on Main st. In Poughkeepsie and was told it wouldn’t e a problem and to bring it there. The Employee at the last store told me all the stores have cash on hand and they just didn’t want to help me. What a run around to get my cash back on a part that they gave that was wrong. They just lost a long time customer.
Yael, Aj, and Jake are super amazing employees, even over the phone : super helpful and when I got to the store, customer service was 3000 % the best. I had an emergency with my car: all the dashboard lights were on. When I got to the store, he helped me connect the machine to the car and gave me the right tools I needed, and he was super amazing when we got there. Thank you, guy!!!!!!!!! Best Autozone ever!!!!!!
William was very helpful with replacing my battery recently. Helped me to test that and the alternator, and after determining that it should be replaced, he walked me through the options and replaced it that day. He also answered my many questions with well-thought out answers that helped me to get a better understanding of car batteries, how they work, and what to look out for in the event of future problems. Very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable.
Went in and asked if they sold small pieces of threaded rod guy at the front gave me crazy attitude and said what do you mean do you want a screw and I said no I need a piece of al thread a small piece of threaded rod he proceeded to look at me like I had thee heads and said idk what your talking about again with attitude for no reason just said nvm and walked out won’t be going back to this autozone …
If your vehicle is only 1-2 years old they do not have basic information like wiper replacements in their system. Go up the road to O Reilly Auto who had in stock the OE wiper blade for me after a quick search
Bad customer service the manager was horrible unhelpful. The technician that was supposed to assist in changing a simple lightbulb couldn’t get that right. I’ll never ever go back to that AutoZone. I wish I would’ve gotten the managers name. The bulb that I purchased wasn’t the right one so I tried to return it, but he said once it’s open, he couldn’t return it. Horrible customer service $35 for one bulb and now I’m stuck with it. Call my credit card company and dispute that charge
Josh, the store manager, helped my mother and I with her windshield wiper replacement. He was so helpful, professional and kind. The store was very organized. I highly recommend. I will only go to this auto parts store.

The store manager Mariam is super helpful. I was at the store this morning for options to correct my rusted hitch rod. She knew exactly what I should buy and gave me instruction how to do it. On top of that she offer to help me if I get nervous doing by myself, she will do it for me tomorrow. Where can you get such a excellent customer service? I suggest people to definitely stop by this Autozone in south road and get the help they need.
The only Autozone to stock the coolant I need and the cashier was fast and courteous.
Update: again, the only local auto parts store to carry the correct part for my Audi. This time the air filter.
Very knowledgeable staff who use their electronic checker to quickly diagnose problems for free, then figure out which parts are needed. Much better and cheaper than going to the dealer.
I purchased 5 quarts of oil 1 extra quart and an oil filter. As the numbers flashed on the register I noticed he had over charged me $3 for the single quarter. He put it back on my credit card. Then I noticed he over charged me $3 for the five quarts. He fix that. I ask did you over charge me for the filter. He said No. I checked the shelf. He over charged me $3 for the filter. He reimbursed me $6.49 off the $9.49 he charged me. There you go. BEWARE OF YOUR RECEIPT AT THIS AUTOZONE.
The employee Herv was great when my car battery died and I had no idea what to do. He told me that they had the battery in stock and I could come in and they’d take a look at it for me to make sure they could change it. He went over everything on the phone and in person and helped calm my nerves. His kindness and understanding made a tough situation much easier.
I have been to this location many times and have always had a great experience. I was recently there to get new headlights and wipers for my car the salesman William was very knowlegable and very helpful. He even installed them for me. I highly recommend autozone and in particular this location !!
I walked in to stand in line with no other customers present and the so-called part sales manager took about 2 to 3 minutes to get off a cell phone and acknowledge my presence thus moving forward I felt as if I was wasting his time and he needed to get back on his phone great so-called manager AutoZone I will take my business to Advance Auto less than 7 minutes down the road
New store super clean and organized usually pretty dead which isn’t a bad thing. Your typical auto parts store, friendly staff I’ve gone there a couple times to take advantage of their check engine readings. It’s my regular autozone because of the friendly staff.
They make it easy to dump your used oil so I always buy it from them. That and my cleaning supplies. Sometimes they are out of the Castrol oil I like to buy. I wish they'd just put regular shelves in for the oil so they could stock more of it.
The Staff was great, however, my 1 star review is due to the parts I returned to Autozone on 1/29/18.
I asked the staff member to confirm the brake calipers I needed were actually, physically, in stock. He said yes.
He was right, but they where two mixed rebuilds, missing some of the parts I needed that were supposed to be in the box.
Autozone needs better quality control on these "rebuilt" units. It's not the staff's fault.
There needs to be better consistence when it comes to rebuilds.
ALWAYS check the box before you leave ANY auto parts store!!
The people are cordial enough but they don't pay attention to important details. I'm going on 3 times I've had to purchase parts twice because somebody was careless with the keyboard or reading the monitor. Pay attention people!
If I could give a zero I would I went in to get brake pads a rotors for my car. As the guy was searching for the stuff I watched him as he put the most expensive rotors on, then asked what kind of pads I wanted, then added all this recommended stuff on the screen. He didn't even ask me if I needed it he just added it to the order. I told him I didn't need any of the cleaners and lube and he gave me a dirty look and was like you don't what it. This is the exact reason why I prefer order stuff online you can't trust this place. DO NOT GO HERE!
The one star rating isn't for the establishment but for one employee. MICHAEL MARGIOTTA. I approached him described my car troubles and asked what product he recommends. in a loud and firm voice he thundered "NO SIR!! WE DO NOT OFFER RECOMMENDATIONS" needless to say i was humiliated so with everyone looking at me i calmly walked out and went up the street to advanced auto. no reason for him lying because i have been there before and the person who assisted me gave me a good product recommendation, not only that they took a look at my car to ensure that i got the right product. So far everyone else that i dealt with at the store were polite and professional. so I'll deal with them and avoid him.
