I am a retired NYS Parole Official and was amazed of the customer service I received by Shane. I am always treated with respect, and they go above and beyond for customer service! Exchanges, warranties and refunds are never a hassle. What stood out to me, was how Shane really cares about giving his customers the best quality advice, and will go out of his way to make sure the customer is treated fairly, and makes the best possible purchase for his car.. Awesome customer service. A+! Go there for all your auto/accessory needs.

I came in this morning with a car battery that was repeatedly giving me trouble. Latravius was friendly and helpful. He helped me to find the correct battery, recommended an add on that I should purchase and then went out and installed it. It was 22 degrees out and he installed it quickly while my kids and I waited in the car. Thankful for the service here and I will be back :)

Was having an issue with my truck battery that I got just over 2 and half years ago and they tested it and the tester said it was low, they warranted it just by looking up my purchase through my phone number, they even switched the battery out in the truck for me at no cost so I didn't even need to get my hands dirty.

Worst experience of all time. Purchased and installed this starter from advanced auto parts. Worked initially...then left me stranded. I took the vehicle to my mechanic who informed me the starter was defective. Since I bought the starter from a "reputable " company, I asked R&A to hold the starter for me so I could return it. Made scenes to me.... I went to Poughkeepsie aap and was told.... I could exchange the starter for a new one. After explaining my experience, the continued to refuse to refund me my money and I fact were hostile and rude. Talking to the other store in code like I was trying to somehow do something wrong. This is simply poor practice and the worst customer experience I have ever had. I will NEVER do business with advanced again. This simply would not happen if I had used auto zone..... if you use them.... buyer beware.

Never had a bad experience in Advanced Auto Parts as they always have good customer service, but this time was even better when my battery light came on and my power steering, abs and tracking control all shut off Eric preformed the testing necessary to determine the alternator blew and drained my battery down to minimal power. Eric cleaned the battery leads off, sold me replacement battery and replaced it for me. He was professional yet personable and explained every step. I was able to get to the mechanic with the new battery and the alternator was indeed blown. Overall Eric is knowledgeable and friendly so 5/5 stars for advanced auto and 10/5 stars for Eric.

5 stars fir Eric! My family and I drove almost 500 miles today. After checking in to the hotel I went to get dinner and my van wouldn't start. Dead battery. Showed up here like 5 minutes before closing and Eric hooked me up with a new battery and the tools to put it in. The terminal connectors didn't quite fit, so he showed me a little truck to get me on my way. Thanks Eric!

So Yesterday me and my girlfriend was there to purchase a wiper blade for her car. The next day the wiper falls off maybe because of ice or something we don’t even know what happened. I called the store to see if we can get a replacement. The store manager Brandon was so professional and very helpful. We ended up not making it to the store because they close at 8pm and she was at work at the time. About 5 minutes later after calling the store. Brandon calls me back saying he can come to her Job to replace the wiper. We so much appreciate it. Thank you Brandon ?

Came in with a dire issue and was sold a $190 battery I didn’t need. David Kane was the associate. He didn’t offer to run a test on my current battery. He just sold me a new one while I was not in the clearest mind.. convincing me it would be the solve so I went for it.. only for me to find out just an hour later I never needed a battery and I actually have a completely different issue unrelated to it.. Tried to get my money back but couldn’t. This put me at a real loss. Ruined my finances for the week and my ability to actually fix my truck. Never coming back here again.

An associate named Brandon was very helpful. He answered our questions attentively in ways that were easy to understand. He seemed very knowledgeable and knew his stuff. Also, our dog really liked him.

Terrible staff, the clerk was on the phone and refused to get off the phone or put the person on hold when he has a customer standing in front of him requesting to be checked out. Made me wait and then we he finished his call. He placed another call while checking me out and made me wait again. Never going back there again, he went out of his way to be rude. Obviously his parents didn't raise him with any manners.

This is my go to location for autoparts. The guys here are awesome. Tested the battery in my truck and it was way overdue to be replaced which I had suspected. They gave me options on best battery for my needs and swapped it out for me in the parking lot within 20 minutes. Great job!

Wish I could add more stars.. We can't thank this location enough for the help this past weekend. We were towing our camper and one of the axels in the truck completely fell apart. We got home and called this location explained the situation and to see if they had the parts we needed. When I went to pick up the parts, Brandon was beyond helpful. He took the time to research and make sure we had everything we needed. He made sure we weren't buying parts we did not need. He was even able to find out that the main part we were replacing was under their warranty still and was able to help out with that too (which I never even considered to be an option)!! AMAZING customer service from Brandon and Theresa who was there as well helping out.

Went to pick up my online order at this location. My order email says they do curbside pickup, so I did as it said and called the store while parked up front. The women on the phone was very rude, at first the phone broke up on her end, so I said hello and asked if someone could please bring my order out(two packages of blinker bulbs) to the car, she said “ok”. I said thank you very much, she said “ok”. I was the only customer at this location, so why she made it seem like she was busy was besides me. This seems like laziness when it’s not far of a walk to just drop my items off with me maybe 10 feet away from the entrance. Had my window down, knows that she spoke to a women, proceeds to go to my boyfriends side of the car and hand him the receipt to sign. I took the receipt from him and I sign it, as it was my order and I paid for it, made no sense why she did this. Employee name on the receipt says Teresa. Such a simple transaction, yet she turned it into a hassle with her attitude and actions. This is not proper customer service, maybe this is not the job for her if she could not deal with simple tasks such as this.

Went in to inquire if I still was under warranty on my battery. Ian (I believe was his name) helped and was great. Super friendly and helpful. Came out and tested my battery for me and had a lot of good info on all the batteries in stock.

The Store rep. was very hard to deal with. I had to pick up my Car battery and required installation also. I visited on 16th July around 7.30 pm. Before going there I called the store to let them know in advance (at around 7 pm) and told the Store rep. that Installation will be required and he said ok. When I arrived at the store, the Store rep. looked for my Order in his system and processed it as Customer picked up. When I asked him to install the battery he mentioned he is the only person at the store and can not install the battery now and he was insisting me to take the battery with me. He gave some disorganized arguments and excuses like the there was other person who is not here at the moment, he/she is in hopewell so, installation is not possible. His body language, tone and attitude towards a customer was not appropriate from customer service point of view. He was trying to act like it’s not his fault and was expecting adjustment from my side. I asked some questions but did not get any logical answers. 1. If I called before coming to store and was confirmed for battery installation then it’s store’s resource communication skills or resource management issue. How can store rep. act like he is doing the right thing by saying no to installation and doing illogical arguments with Customer? 2. I offered to come back next day but he was insisting on taking the battery with me because he has marked that as picked up. He said “that’s the process. If he goes in and look for the order in the system it gets marked as processed.” I don’t believe that and he should not have marked the Order as picked up before completing the battery installation. If he was not able to complete the installation due to some reason he should have told me “can’t install” over the phone or when I arrived at the store but not after marking the order as “picked up”. Worst experience in Advance Auto Parts! This one deserves negative rating just because of the customer service skills of the store rep. Finally, I returned/cancelled my Car battery order as a result of this behavior of the Store rep.

The sales person I was dealing with never told me am item I was looking for was on sale. I needed wipers and save 15.00 as I saw the sales ad for a better brand than what I put on the counter. I think the sale people in Wappingers are a little more helpful and a better mood. But I got what I needed.

Went in for a new battery. They looked up the battery for me and installed a lot faster than I would have looking for the right wrench to unbolt the battery. Fast and good customer service. Best way to start the new year.

I was told earlier today by the dealership I'd have to get a new cabin filter. Cost $60. I recall doing it once a couple years ago, with help from YouTube. I thought I'd give it a try again. Walked into Advanced Auto Parts, spoke with an associate named Justice (real name, how cool is that?) and grabbed filter. Told him my idea, asked if he knew how to get it started. He walked out with me and 3 min later cabin filter was swapped out!! So I spent $27.02 for a cabin air filter, with a few min of time to remove and replace glove box, and saved $33 (not to mention a little time in the waiting room) to do it myself! Appreciated the help. Recommend this place, great staff.

I was so frustrated with my visit to Advance Auto Parts near the Red Roof Inn and the steakhouse on Route 9. I came in with my confirmation email from the online order I placed more than 30 minutes prior and asked for help. The associate there who was scrolling through car feeds on Instagram logged into the computer to tell me that the order wasn't there. He didn't investigate why my email and his system were not syncing. He didn't know what store he was in and his colleagues corrected him. We verified my order was submitted, the store number was correct and that enough time past, but we retreated to the stance that it was a computer glitch. To remedy the issue, I asked to just pay in cash and I would get my order refunded by Corporate. When the associate went to the back to find my part, he told me that it's a big box, and it's not there, so I would have to go somewhere else to get the part. The only reason I went to this store instead of the Advanced Auto Parts near my house is because when I did the online order, it was the closest store with the part in stock - apparently not. I had to ask the associate what other Advanced Auto Parts stores had the part in stock, he told me Poughkeepsie, but didn't give me an address. I was there for 30 minutes and received comical service. What a disappointing experience for sure.

Guys are helpful there. They know a good amount when it comes to cars and bikes. I have been helped there several times and they do a great job. Special shoutout to Nick who is very friendly and takes the time to help you find what you need. Good staff
