Right now, I’m sitting on the scale and have been for about 15 minutes. I won’t move until someone talks to me. Another truck behind me. Right now I don’t like this place. Not only that it was so difficult to find.
I don't understand how this company can have an open fire pit burning rubber and dangerous materials.<br>How is this even legal.<br>I can't breath when I'm outside and the wind blows my way.
Love Sims metal management and the leadership of the employees is on point.Very well organized and directed.Other than long wait times ob the scales during bulk day ,it's a great yard as far as the employees go .Mike,Jose,and Carlos are phenomenal employees in the management of the daily operations and I hope that they are recognized for the great work they do day in and out.(Black Jeep Cherokee).Says thank you sincerely.!!#!!!
Terrible ,Terrible,Terrible place...6 hours load time as mentioned before the forklift driver is too important to assist.Multiple scale rounds and the weights are always inaccurate. The scale weighs in increments of 20 pds so for every load its always minus 20 pds so think 20lbs for every truck that goes thru.Multiply that by 400 or 500 some odd trucks that go thru there daily and theres alot of stolen profit margins that they recieve.The key is to weigh before you go,I mean what company wants to get robbed on weight???I know ours doesnt does yours?I can only speak on the Richards Ln location in Newark but seller be ware!!!!!!!!!
As the other comment, after 2 hours they were kind enough to load me with 2 pallets and send me to scale. When I came back, they didn’t even continue to load but took care of unloading other trucks that were coming and going.<br>The forklift driver is too important to talk to - so watch out.<br>I told them to take their stuff off and left. GOOD LUCK!!
By far the best yard I've found in the area. Every other yard cheated us on weight and/or downgraded our metal for no reason other than it would be too much hassle to put back on the truck.
