This store is insanely busy and the reps work their butts off. That said I had a bad experience at verizon with a brand new 17 pro max i got my daughter for X Mas and they kindly helped even though I didn’t have an appt. They let me know the wait would be a little long which was cool they set the expectation. huge thank you. I have been to this store a few times and was always treated professionally and have always left happy with my issue resolved. Apple gets it when it comes to customer support

0 service. Walked in to replace the battery and was asked to wait 30-40 mins for another tech guy to speak to me. I waited for 40 minutes and left. I don’t need nobody to speak to, I need to replace the battery and to know if you can do it now. That’s it. If you can’t - just say it and i will not waste my time.

long wait time, people that were here after us were helped first. nobody asked if we needed help while we were waiting, haven’t been checked up on in the past 2 hours. literally saw one employee just standing around doing nothing. they definitely need more employees- this is crazy.

I had a very disappointing experience at the Apple Store in American Dream Mall. From the moment I walked in, I was not acknowledged at all. No greeting, no eye contact, no assistance. Staff continued to brush me off repeatedly, even though I was clearly waiting and trying to get help. What made the situation worse was how uncomfortable and targeted I felt during the interaction. The lack of acknowledgment and dismissive behavior came across as rude and racially insensitive, which was extremely upsetting. On top of this, I was already under emotional stress because I had a funeral to attend that same day. Customer care and basic human decency matter, especially in moments like that, and unfortunately, this location showed neither. Because I couldn’t get proper help, I left and went to the Apple Store at Short Hills, where the experience was completely different. I had to change my appointment there, and the staff was welcoming, respectful, and professional from the start. They acknowledged me immediately and actually listened and helped. This contrast made it very clear that the issue wasn’t Apple as a company, but the lack of care and professionalism at the American Dream location. Customer service is important, and no one should feel ignored or mistreated when asking for help. I hope management addresses this, because no customer should walk out feeling the way I did.

Some workers in this Apple store are just ignorant and rude if they aren't disable since they kept rolling eyes! That's so confusing! They are NOT genuine apple genius, and shouldn't belong to this place. Terrible exprience tbh

Second floor on the American Dream mall, it was actually relatively empty compared to other stores near it - no giant line at the Genius Bar, I guess people go more local for that? They didn't have some of the old audio connectors for older versions of the phone, but they can order it for you.

Very surprised by the low reviews. Truly a disservice and an injustice actually because they really help me. I would recommend anybody that has an apple issue to go to that location. Don't listen to the reviews.

First time leaving a Google review - the service here was considerably worse than every other Apple Store I’ve been to. Extremely rude “genius” could not answer basic questions about a proposed repair without flaring up.

I want to give a huge shoutout to Alex and Eros at the Apple Store in the American Dream Mall! I stopped by yesterday to purchase and set up my new iPhone, and they were both incredibly patient and understanding with me—LOL, total newbie here coming from Android! There were so many cool iPhone features I wasn’t familiar with, but Alex and Eros guided me through everything with such kindness and care. Thanks again, you two—I’m already watching YouTube and TikTok videos to learn even more tricks for my new phone!

Every time I come to this store for Genius Bar it’s always an issue. I set an appointment to get my phone fixed and was quoted to drop my phone off on Monday. I come in waits 30. MINUTES to tell me to come back another day. It’s insane. I’m coming back now a 3rd for an issue and still not resolved. What’s the point of setting appointment late if you’re not going to be able to do it.

I had visited Apple Store in American dream mall in may of 2024, and bought an iPhone. My experience at this store was great as the sales executive attended me was extremely polite, displayed patience in setting up my phone and expedited the billing.

MJ is the best Apple employee we’ve ever met. She is incredibly sincere, knowledgeable, and kind — always down to earth and ready to help at every step.♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

If I could give them a zero I would. My iPhone 16 camera had been having issues for the past 10 months, I’ve been back to this store at least 6 times. They never able to find out the problem. They asked me to wipe my data twice, changed the camera itself, never able to fix the issue. I was told on my 5th/6th visit that if they can’t find any issue this time, they will do a replacement. And now they come back again saying they don’t see any issue in the hardware, asking me to wipe out data and setup as new, AGAIN, and when I ask what would happen if this doesn’t fix it, they say, we will do diagnostic again(which never worked) and possible wipe out data if needed. This is an endless vicious cycle. Not even to mention the horrible attitude some of the people have. Never come here for any repair. This is the worst Genius Bar ever. Update: Huge shout out to Manny, Anna, and Mustafa, they are very thoughtful and talented team and helped me solve my issue in a timely manner. Very professional and considerate. Truly appreciate their help.

Went to the apple store to pick up the new iphone a few days ago. There was a worker who seemed under the weather who touched her hand with her nose to stop “sniffling” and touched the iphone box without putting some sort of hand sanitizer or even hand it to someone else to handle it while she cleaned her hands. Very disgusting and unsanitary! If you’re under the weather, maybe don’t work where you are going to be with other customers and potentially pass it to them or maybe clean after yourself because you may not know someone can get it even worse from it.

Excellent customer service, everyone in the store went the extra mile to deliver extraordinary assistance, although the store was full of customers as I visited at pick time. Angelica was very knowledgeable, efficient and helpful. The only downside of the store is that they're one of the few stores in the mall closed on Sunday.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. They gave me a lot of trouble. They think anyone who comes to pick up an orders is a thief. Even their manager doesn't try to solve the problem.he was so rude .

I visited the Apple American Dream store to pick up an online order. The pickup itself was fast, maybe 15 minutes at most, but I was shocked to be charged $5.33 (plus tax) for parking on my way out. It feels completely unreasonable to charge that much for someone who is just running in to grab an item. The parking fee wasn't the only disappointment. First, it was a hassle just to get to the store from Deck D, requiring two separate escalator rides. Then, once inside, the staff seemed more interested in chatting with each other than acknowledging customers. I felt pretty much ignored, as if customers were an afterthought. Honestly, with the combination of the inconvenient location and the ridiculous parking fee, there's no reason for me to use this store for pickups again. I'll be choosing a different location next time.

Coming from an Android, there were a lot of cool features on the new iPhone that I am not familiar with, but Alex and Eros took care of me with such kindness. BTW thank you two, I am looking up YT and TT videos to learn new tricks for my phone! Note: Please understand that this is a high volume store. I came in yesterday (a random Wednesday) and the store was packed. The employees are working the hardest they can to accommodate all the customers. I actually felt bad because the employees were assisting multiple customers at one time, with even more customers bombarding and demanding for help with rudeness. If you never worked customer service/waiting/etc. you may not understand how overwhelming it is to have ten people speak to you at once. I do recommend coming to this location when you are not on a time constraint. The other employees seemed to be just as friendly and engaging, so don’t hesitate to give this location a try. Just come in with a positive attitude and the employees will help you the best they can! A smile can go a long way! I typed this review with the new iPhone 17 Pro orange that I purchased from this store yesterday! Thanks again and thanks for reading!

I asked three people for help. Three. All told me to stand there and wait. I waited for a good 20 minutes all for to be ignored and leave with nothing in my hands. I just wanted a pair of AirPods.

I had a very disappointing experience at the Apple Genius Bar. The staff member I dealt with had a rude and dismissive attitude. Instead of listening carefully and trying to troubleshoot the “no signal” issue on my iPhone, he immediately blamed my service provider without making any real effort to find a solution. I expected professionalism and support from Apple, but I left feeling frustrated and unheard. Definitely not the level of service I thought I would get

how do I start... the staff here is very unprofessional and confrontational. they won't stand behind there repair work. what I mean by this is I came in for a repair 2months ago to have my front glass repaired 2 days later I seen that my front glass was fogged up I knew right then there was an installation issue but didn't have the time to take it back because I work 7 days a week fast forward I dropped my phone in the tub taking my son a bath last night it full submerged for about 40 seconds took it out, both of my cameras was fogged next day screen not working water damaged. I went into the store today I had this gentlemen help me told me he would have to take my phone in the back to open it up to determine if there was at fault for the repair wait... he came out to say that I was responsible for the repair I disagreed due to the fact if I just repair the phone with them just two months ago witch was the front and back glass on the phone and what had failed was the water proof seal of the phone that caused internal damage which could have been prevented if repaired correctly to begin with. I asked to speak with the manager she was very condisending wouldn't hear me out. In my experience with them, they could never find an error on their behalf. Wouldn't recommend getting any of your products repaired here!

Absolutely AWFUL!!!! Iphone 16E is four months old, diagnostic test determines it need a new 'rear system' which is covered under the 1 year limited warranty. Apple won't replace phone, because they said phone was purchased through verizon. NO, phone was purchased online at Apple. Apple gives me a loner phone that is dead/no charge and sends me to Verizon to have them add my number and info to loner phone. Get to Verizon and they phone needs an upgrade so it can't be used. Are you kidding me. Two days, no phone and a lot of frustration. This is crazy!

I just wanted to write a positive review for the leader, Kayla, today when I went to visit for my genius appointment. Although she didn’t help me necessarily directly, I realized she runs a really great team. It was nice to see enthusiastic employees that had good rapport with each other and her. Idk if she’s part of the hiring committee but it was the first time in a long time you can feel the zen and flow in retail. Kudos to also hiring employees that speak various languages (something else I noticed while waiting for my appointment). A positive work environment is usually a reflection of a good leader, so shoutout to Kayla and the team! :)

Pleasant experience during my visit. As a customer walking in and seeing a great deal of people, I was a bit reluctant, however I felt acknowledged and welcomed upon entering. Surprisingly the staff appeared happy to be there, and the manager on duty I believe her name was Belle Da Pena was absolutely amazing. The way she managed a busy store while connecting me with the right team member was impressive. I will definitely be back !!

It was definitely a great experience purchasing the iPhone 16E. Justin was very helpful and collaborative. I truly appreciate the excellent service I received.

The worst managed Apple Store I’ve ever seen. To simply scan and receive an iPhone, after booking a time slot, they still left people waiting for 40mins + This is not on launch day. I had the opposite experience with other Apple stores. Also, the line was not long enough to justify such a long wait for a simple pickup. Finally, instead of being overly nice and welcoming as usually Apple Store employees are, these seemed bored/dismissive/annoyed. Before entering the line I asked twice “how long does this line take”? And the employee answer was “I think pretty fast. You were allowed to line up an hour before”. Oh well, the Apple website said I had a 15 mins slot just for my pickup, and the employee says I should have lined up an hour earlier? I see the last 4 reviews have 1 star. Go somewhere else if you can, and save yourself the parking ticket too. My questions are: who manages this Apple Store? If the 1:30 slot delivered at 2:15, what happened to the 1:45 slot?
