This Dollar Tree has come along way! 🌲 Big props to The Manager & her crew! The people are what make the store. Lately, I see everyone here working diligently as a team. Way to go East Rutherford 🌲

Was super excited! They have things that other Dollar Tree locations that I have been to, don't have.

I would give zero stars if possible. No baskets available to carry to your items through the store, and carts can’t be used because they have a long bar sticking out of the carts and the ceiling so too low. Asked for help from and older lady with short blonde hair behind the counter and she screamed at me. Horrible horrible service . Don’t waste your time or money

The usual finds here, but very overwhelming. A mess in the store, and a lot of stock not put away. Only two self checkouts open on a busy Saturday.

They're alright sometimes. They are starting to annoy me now because they are out of the stuff that I really need! And I'm talking about for the longest time!🤨🙎🏽‍♂️And it is not coming in apparently, and when you ask them about it. They give the same damn generic (I really don't care answer). I don't know!? 🙎🏽‍♂️😐 Really!? You work there for a 100 years and you don't know!? 🙄😐🙎🏽‍♂️

I have been in love with dollar tree since I was a kid. I loved to shop there only having $20 in my pocket and coming out with a bag of new items. Sadly, the customer service at this establishment failed me. They discriminated against customers and began to shout, curse, and verbally harass customers. The manager at this establishment follows those who appear to be young around the store and watches them due to her paranoid mindset. She ruined the shopping experience for many and caused major distress and discomfort with multiple customers.

I was extremely disrespected while shopping at this establishment and I wish I could give it zero stars. The manager at this store decided it would be appropriate to begin cursing, screaming, and commenting on customers clothes while I was simply planing on shopping for a soda. Never coming back here again. Especially with how poor the customer service is.

Honestly if I could give a store zero stars I would. The manager at this establishment had the audacity to comment on a minor's clothing stating that she looked like she was going to a club and then proceeded to discriminate against customers trying to enter the building only allowing one minor inside at a time. This policy is extremely frustrating for families and paying customers who are in a rush. This is also not the first time this specific manager has shown her paranoid, irritating, and disrespectful attitude. She has screamed and bullied multiple customers at a time while following them around the store for no reason. If you cannot handle the stress of your own establishment either get a new job or be quiet. This behavior was extremely unacceptable and I definitely will be complaining to corporate.

If I could give zero stars I would. I am writing to express my deep concern regarding a manager at this dollar tree. On march 26,2024 the female manager had told a minor that they looked as if they were going to a club and to cover up. Then the manager proceeded to only allow one minor in the building at a time due to her rather paranoid attitude. This policy restricting entry for more than one minor is discriminatory and inconvenient for families. I urge you to address these concerns immediately. We expect a formal apology from your manager and a revision of discriminatory policies.

The woman working the cashier on 12/29/23 10:30-11am VERY RUDE she was Yelling at all the customers as soon as I came in I was only there for 5 minutes imagine how she is all day. She was saying her register is closed when she was the only one open. Horrible attitude. She Never came to the self checkout to delete an item that was double scanned so I didn’t even purchase it I just decided to leave. And she yelled at me about not purchasing it. Horrible Lady, go find peace. No reason for an attitude at 10am she chose to work there, No one made her apply.

These employees are AWEFUL! I came in and grabbed something off the shelf, put it right back where I grabbed from and this old lady (employee) pokes my shoulder...the dialogue went as such: Employee: Are you going to buy that? Me: No Employee: Then put it back where it goes. Me: I put it back where I found it. If it doesn't go there then it's your job to put it where it goes. This place needs corporate or ownership to come and fix the nasty attitudes of the employees, starting with the manager. Starting to believe a bad attitude is in the job description

I used to love shopping here. Now that they only have self check out, I refuse to shop here. The lines are too long and there are some people who have a hard time using the machine. It is really frustrating. Management should not be stingy and should have cashiers available. I rather drive out of my way to a different town for a dollar store than deal with this.

Been coming here for a while, so I know the manager and greet her all the time as well as all the helpful employees. Today I was at the checkout line as my senior non-English speaking mother stood by my side when a young, curly hair, Hispanic lady (employee) wanted to make it somewhere she had to cut thru the line and said EXCUSE ME, my mom didn't hear her so she rolled her eyes and with an attitude said EXCUSE ME again in such a disrespectful manner, yet hesitated to even address the white lady in front of us (cause she knew what was gonna happen). I just moved on and checked, but she gave me an attitude again for no reason, therefore I politely told her she is not entitled to disrespect anyone let alone her elders, she went crazy and started cussing me out in Spanish along with her non-employee friend (I assume) who was by the register, little did they know I speak Spanish so I called them out again in Spanish as her peer was constantly threatening me to leave the store before he does something 😂😂 Boy I just walked out and laughed. This kind of behavior shouldn’t be allowed! All of this drama over me telling the employee she’s supposed to wait till the person moves after she says EXCUSE ME!

It used to be a awesome place now there will be a huge line for the self checkout and three older cashier's standing there on their phones. And their self checkout machines are the slowest I've ever used. They will lose their store from this! They lost all my business and a lot more people I know.

The manager was on her cell phone, did not assist an elderly lady at the self check out and spoke demeaningly to her because she could not work the self check out kiosk, a customer asked her if they were any more baskets and the manager replied “we don’t have baskets we have carts” maybe she was having a bad day I don’t know. As a customer service representative one should display respect and willingness to assist Five stars to Diane ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Today I was purchasing at Dollar Tree with my son and daughter. My son is 4 years old and had to use the restroom. So I asked one of the employees to let me use the restroom. When I got to the restroom it was unspeakable of how nasty it was in there. It seemed that they haven't cleaned that bathroom in months. The trash can was completely full of the trash fall into the floor. They were over a hundred flies on the walls that the moment that I open the door they were flying all over the place. As well as the bathroom did not have any toilet paper how do they expect the customers to clean themselves without any toilet paper . it also had a horrible smell . It was a hazard in there. How do they expect their customers to use these type of bathrooms that are so disgusting unspeakable how to explain everything I saw in there.

Had a very long wait to check out. Had only one person checking out people. The store had a good amount of customers. They had few other people working in the store. All were putting out new stock. Should of had taken one off stocking to open up another line. Very poor management customer service should of came first over stocking.

So disappointed each and every time.(usually stop in when shopping Aldi) It's dirty and dingy ...stock usually stacked on floor and bare shelves. In some ways I could almost sympathize with the employees attitudes. Poor leadership not caring and we the shoppers openly complaining to a cashier that really is not at fault. I prefer to go to the Clifton/Passaic store over any other! They take pride in their store ALWAYS in such good order..clean bright well stocked NEAT and super friendly and helpful! And I always compliment them...amazing what that does for someone 's attitude even if just stocking shelves!

This store has great items and lots of merchandise. It's usually messy but that's because the customers put things all over the place. Staff is always friendly. This area of Bergen County has a lot of stuck up trash that are demanding and hence get offended when they don't get what they want. You're at a dollar store! Cut it out! Get what you need and get out, or go to a supermarket or other store.

Horrible place to shop! Yes, you may find some good items for cheap,(I go there for craft stuff) but to me it is not worth it. I will choose another dollar store. Every time you go there, they have one cashier open with a line all the way down to the other end of store. Then I mistakenly carried in my very small dog in my arms, unaware of the policy, & the cashier was very rude. She could have told me nicely to leave and I would have understood, but instead she chose to take me as I was next in line. She told the lady in front of me to me over so she can take me first and get me out of there. Then she aggressively took the basket with 3 items I told her I decided not to get and tossed it behind her, rolling her eyes. Then she proceeded to scan my stuff very aggressively and telling me to take stuff that I was exchanging out of my bag. She spoke very nasty. I was very embarrassed. I told her that I already apologized a number of times and that she doesn’t need to be mean to me. She actually said, “Oh well!” I called the manager the next day, should have demanded to see one right there, but was so humiliated & hurt that I just wanted to run out of there. Well anyway, the manager seemed to be dismissive & not really care, saying she never had a complaint before of her cashiers. As if that matters to this situation. I guess this lady just gets away with treating customers horribly. I called the toll free number and of course you can’t speak to a human being, you just have to leave your message on an answering machine. I know I will never hear from them! I guess you get what you pay for! I will never shop there again!

I purchased 18 glass containers she put some in a box, the rest she put in a single bag without wrapping and when I asked do you guys wrap glass wear so it doesn't break she opened a drawer smacked some newspaper on the counter and kept walked away. Seemed bothered as the next customer arrived that I was still wrapping never moved to help more bothered that I asked for additional paper and bag. It's 10 am, its so dark in this store its aa if all the lights are off, the cashier is helping one stock person empty boxes which are thrown everywhere, the isles are cluttered. I love dollar tree 🌳 I've noticed they have grown huge, their stores have become a not WELCOMING PLACE

Idk what is going on but this store needs a visit from their district manager. The store is an entire disgusting mess. The shelves are bare , almost every aisle has merchandise all over the floor. Boxes everywhere that haven’t been unpacked for over a week. And you can always count on it only having one cashier. This location and the staff are a joke. The store should not look like a tornado went through there.

The store itself is a mess, but I usually only go there when I need something specific. They have a good selection of party supplies and glassware which I customize for party favors and decor. However, the manager Cynthia (Cindy) is the most rude woman I have ever had the displeasure of speaking to. I do not understand how any human could ever work in the same store as her. Each time she is needed, it seems she is taking a personal phone call or needs to be retrieved from outside of the store. I placed two online orders and went to pick them up at the store, she told me she was too busy for me and that she would never get her work done and refused to stay late. It was a large, heavy box and not even the "man" (if you can call him that) who stocks shelves offered to help me bring it to my car when they saw me struggling (and you are unable to bring the shopping carts outside). When I went to pick up the second order, I told Cindy that I received an email saying I could pick it up, she stated "well the email didn't tell you how many boxes got delivered and what a mess we have back there today." She then proceeded to tell me "I'm not even supposed to be working right now." with an attitude. I made it known that she is rude and I do not appreciate the way that she speaks to me each time I need something at the store and I had to let her know that although it was unfortunate she was having a bad day, it was her job and it was not my fault that she should not be there. She was there, so it was HER job. She changed her attitude real quick when she realized I would not put up with her disgusting attitude as I am sure many people do. Another woman leaving the store even mentioned to me as she was leaving "that woman is so miserable and nasty, it's terrible." I will never place another online order to be picked up at this location again, and I will avoid her terrible attitude at all costs.

In line for Halloween supplies with my 9 year old. As entertaining as it may sound, an employee reacts to customer “looking at her sideways”. We all have bad days on the job, a screaming match and physically threatening customers is a little different. “Let’s take this outside”. Really??? Not one employee intercepted while this continued for a good 10 minutes. Totally unprofessional on the entire store’s part. I’m glad to know that I can be treated this way and nothing happen at this location. Pick your battles if you wanna keep your job. People are guaranteed to look at you sideways again. I don’t really want to see or hear the disruption on my time after a long day. Keep it classy Dollar Tree.

This is a pretty typical Dollar Store. They have some seasonal items, and a wide selection of candy. They also have 50% off clearance items.

The store has a lot to offer at a very cheap price. Every aisle has another selection and it’s all for a buck each. The cashier tonight did have a challenge entering a $20 bill, but she asked for help and it got resolved easily. We were able to pick up a few holiday gifts and not break the bank.

One of the largest and nicest Dollar Trees that I've shopped at. Friendly checkout lady with a sense of humor. Bought a pair of reading glasses for $1 which was eleven bucks cheaper than my last pair from Walmart's. Save a bunch of $ on their greeting cards. Very clean and organized store compared to others I've been in. I gave it one of my rare 5 star ratings.
