I originally went to this Spencer's to show my friend the store, since she is from out of state and had never visited a Spencer's. We ended up meeting Edgar who was incredibly knowledgeable- he anticipated my questions and subsequently provided detailed answers. Their recommendations were spot-on and ultimately helped me choose exactly what I didn't even know I needed. The cashier who checked me out, Dani, was just as friendly and welcoming. They made the final part of the visit just as positive as the sales interaction. Overall, Edgar and Dani made the experience memorable, for my friend especially c: Their teamwork and great customer service made this one of the best retail experiences I’ve had, deadass. Make sure you’re checking the prices as you’re being rung up. It can ring up higher than what the tag says and if you don’t mention it, you’ll be charged the higher price.
Went there on Saturday and the guy at the front was really rude to me while trying to make conversation. It made me feel upset and unwanted there. So upsetting
Alarms were going off in the mall yesterday and police was running with K9 workers waved for certain customers to come inside but when I went to the come inside they told me no ? They picked and choose who was coming inside although other people went else where. It was not packed only 1/2 customers came into the store nice to know in an emergency that could be life threatening workers pick and choose who can be helped.
Went to go shop and buy some shirts from here today but the employee was very rude. It was a young black girl and she asked us not to take out shirts to look at. I looked at 3 shirts but two back nicely and in the proper area and still had one in my hands. Wouldn’t have to take out the shirt to look at if the wall matched the shirts below. I put my stuff down immediately and left. I will not buy from a place with rude and lazy workers.
The bald man was super helpful with answering my questions, he was very on point with the sex toys . My wife and I got 3 and he said they come with a year warranty and even told me what to do if they do get damaged .
Didn’t like being followed and stared at like I’m about to steal. Can I shop without moving and them switching spots to be in my area at all times? There was other shoppers in there and not one of them followed
The same Spencer's you will find in any other mall. Small, cramped, busy. The front is clothes, middle is mugs wallets and jewelry. Bit behind that is the incense and gag gifts for bridal showers. And obviously in the back is the same thing you will find in any Spencer's. Clothing, toys and outfits included.
It's a good store but I always end up window shopping, very few items are actually compelling enough to warrant a purchase. Still fun to look at though
The staff here made me feel super uncomfortable when buying items that would normally make a person nervous to begin with. I left feeling humiliated. I won’t mention the story because it is personal but the two females who were at checkout last week know what they said and knew I could hear. I will never shop at this place again and advise caution to anyone else who decides to go there. Not cool.
Spencer's is one of those places you go into with your friends all the time. After all if you're looking for a mug with a marijuana plants on it or a shirt that has a curse word, where else would you go?
And everyone knows that if you go into the back end of the store you're going to find the adult section.
On your way to the back of the store you might pass the lava lamps or the selection of t-shirts with varying sayings.
In trying to avoid close quarters with other people I would say this is probably one of the worst stores to be in right now however.
