Today was a very successful day. Dylan is the man. He helped changes my battery and he also fixed all my fuses for the truck. Truck wouldn't have signals lights or anything like that. This guy did everything. I am so thankful for him and his work. He's a great worker and knows how to take care of his customers. Highly recommend him to help with everything. God bless.

I have been shopping at AutoZone in East Rutherford for many years. I must say the manager Lisette and her staff are professional, knowledgeable and most helpful. Also, the store has never been as clean- a pleasure to shop there. Worth a visit for all your auto part needs.

WOW!!! Most disrespectful customer service ever!!! I have shopped at AutoZone for over 20 years. NEVER AGAIN!!!! I wouldn't take free merchandise from them at this point. Lance White is the manager of the store. Forget his level of disrespect, he lacks the intelligence and open mindedness to be reasonable. When he realized what he was saying no longer even made sense, he continued to flat out lie!!! I escalated the situation through corporate. I was told I would receive a call back in 24-48 hours.... No call!!! Just like when my duralast battery exploded in my 1966 Pontiac 10 years ago. I should have learned my lesson then when corporate failed to contact me upon the stores request. I went to Advanced Auto parts in Hackensack. Parts were cheaper, employees were awesome, and the stock is so much more abundant than this crappy AutoZone!!!!

Max was very knowledgeable and told me more than I would expect someone to advise on oil choice for older car. He also gave me a hand to see how much oil was needed and a quick opinion if he noticed anything else under the mask, which was valuable. Also pointed me in a right direction to a performance cars shops because my local shops were too busy.

I don’t usually write Yelp reviews, but I told myself this one was long overdue. There’s a young man named Anthony at this AutoZone in East Rutherford, with curly, bushy hair and a chill, helpful vibe, who is hands down one of the most knowledgeable and courteous employees I’ve ever dealt with at any auto parts store. Every time I come in and Anthony is working, I leave feeling like my car problems just got 10x easier. He’s patient, doesn’t rush you, and somehow always manages to find the exact part I need, even when I barely know what I’m talking about. He explains things in a way that makes sense, and you can tell he genuinely enjoys helping people. Honestly, I’ve jokingly said to myself: “If Anthony’s not working today, I might as well come back when he is.” That’s how reliable and helpful he’s been. AutoZone, take note, this guy’s a gem. Keep up the great work, Anthony!

I needed 4 lug nuts for my tire. The guy at the store sold me 4 after I told him the make and model of my car. I made the mistake of throwing out my receipt in the trash can outside. I went out to my car and the lug nuts he sold me were not the right size. I went back into the store, maybe 10 minutes later to return the lug nuts. I went over to the same worker and told him he gave me the wrong lug nuts. He told me I needed my receipt to make a return. I had to go outside and dig through the trash can in front of CVS. I couldn't find the receipt. I went back into AutoZone and I explained that I literally just bought the lug nuts 10 minutes ago FROM YOU. He still said without a receipt, I couldn't get my money back. He would only give me store credit. I asked him that since the purchase was only 10 minutes ago, couldn't he just reprint my receipt and use that??? He said no! At this point , he could have even voided the transaction and given me back my $29. But no!!! He was extremely stubborn and not understanding in any way. He sold me the wrong lug nuts. Yes, I made the mistake of tossing my receipt... But it was literally 10 minutes from purchasing. He gave me store credit which I will never use. I just don't understand why he couldn't help me. I feel like he was just trying to make a stand. Don't throw your receipt out guys.

I went to autozone because my check engine light came on. I was helped by Anthony, not only was he a huge help he was so friendly and kind!! He even brought the paper out to my car because it was cold out. Best experience i had at this autozone yet!

This morning, I noticed that one of my car's key fob batteries was weak when I tried to use it. I went to the nearest AutoZone store, they checked it, and said the battery was dead. I asked them if the battery was still under warranty. They checked and said, "Yes, it’s covered," but then added that if the product was not purchased by me, there was no warranty. They said the warranty is tied to the buyer, not the product. So, basically, even if they not sold me the item, if I wasn’t the original purchaser, there would be no warranty.Doesn't matter item is still under vwarranty. Then they gave me a customer service number. I called, and I ended up talking to someone who sounded completely fed up with life, didn’t want to be there, and was extremely rude. They said the district manager would call me back in two hours. I went back inside the store and explained the situation to the employee, and the store manager came over. The store manager said, “I spoke with the district manager, and there’s nothing we can do.” I went back to the office and . Finally, the district manager called. I asked if they had spoken with the store, and the district manager said, “No, we didn’t speak to anyone.” So the store manager lied, and when districk maneger said call u back they would call me back both lier , they never did. Also,I found the person who bought the battery originally gave their name but nit enigh for them they want zip code and phone number no way they gonna replace. In short, these big companies have figured out how to legally take money from us. The system is very convenient for this, and those working within it aren’t even ashamed to lie. I wanted you to be aware that this happened at the Rutherford, NJ AutoZone store and with AutoZone customer service.

I went to auto zone looking for wipers and Jaynelle C. helped me the whole time. She made sure I bought the right size and type of wipers for my car. Then went above and beyond installing them in the rain. She is amazing and so helpful!

The night manager is a rude, lazy jerk. Wouldn't even care to help, let alone listen to what I wanted to ask. Brushed everyone off like he's got more important things to do saying only "Ask the associate in the front!". Then goes on his phone to the back.

I came here to get my battery tested and check my car with another test that checks they lights on the dashboard its called a fix finder and it took maybe 2 minutes to conduct the test and afterwards they provided me with a printed out report so i cab take to my mechanic. I come here to get various things for my car like windex for my car that helps clean any bugs on the windshield.

Unfortunately I used a different company to jump and subsequently replace my car battery at home, twice. The battery died AGAIN and I decided to buy a battery charger/jumper to get my car started and then I drove to this NJ AutoZone to see if I could get the battery/alternator/starter tested and then figure out a solution. I arrived around 2:20 pm on a Wednesday. I was helped by Lance and he informed me that he could test the battery the same day but if it needed a replacement, it couldn't be done today. I was worried my car might not start again but it did start after trying twice and I was able to move the car up to the front of the store. Lance came out and tested the battery,etc. and concluded: 1. The battery was improperly installed - the connections were loose and not in the right position. 2. The battery was not the correct battery for my vehicle (!!) We discussed my options and I decided to purchase a new battery with AutoZone. I followed Lance inside and completed the transaction. At some point I went back out to my car, still parked in front in the no parking zone (as directed), and I thought I was waiting for Lance to finish the transaction/close up my hood so I could schedule an installation for the next day, but Lance came out with gloves, a cart, a tool and a new battery. He said he could install the battery today and then proceeded to do so quickly. Once completed, I moved my car to a proper spot and met Lance inside again. He mentioned I might need the old battery if I were to pursue the previous company, so I took it home with me but Lance offered to dispose of it if I bring it back. I asked to tip him for his help and service but he declined and said I could leave a review instead, so this is my long winded response. I very much appreciate Lance & AutoZone and would absolutely return. Thank you Lance! BTW I was back home in East Rutherford by 3:20, even with a Dunkin pitstop. All-in under an hour and Lance was still helping other customers throughout the process.

I want to give a big shout out to Kameron for helping me with my issue! I had a coolant hose that popped a hose and he found the exact hose I needed immediately! I fixed the issue on the spot and my part was given to me swiftly ! Amazing service today!

I’m here a few times and month and I always find the employees knowledgeable and helpful. The store is always clean and well organized. A little while back I needed to replace the headlight bulb in my car and my mechanic was backed up. Lance, helped me located and install the correct bulb saving lots of time and aggravation. Thanks so much.

This is where customer service goes to die. I was there last week and asked one of the employees some advice on how to check oil level. Their response "We sell auto parts, not give advice". Everyone in this store needs serious retraining on what it means to provide customer service with curtesy an respect. If he didn't want to answer, he could have said "Sorry, I don't have an answer to that. Let me ask my colleague" or "have you tried searching on YouTube? Let me know help you" or "I would love to help but I'm not allowed to walk out the store to show but I can give you some tips"

First AutoZone location I’ve been to where employees are looking to be as helpful as possible. Came here for fuel injector cleaners and had my car battery tested because of ignition stalling that had been occurring sporadically. Turned out my battery was beginning to fail and I was still within my 3 year warranty. Lance not only assisted in changing out my battery, but he went above and beyond with overcoming several unexpected obstacles that occurred during installation. The only person who has ever shown this much care and perseverance in helping me with my car is my own father. Lance is a huge asset to AutoZone! Thank you so much! Very grateful!

USELESS! Went in to try and get a change of battery on my car key. First off I had “try” to open the key myself (usually other locations will open the key). There were three gentlemen in the front. One decided he wanted to talk about food and health (in an auto store) with someone who wasn’t even a customer. The other gentlemen flat out told me no he can’t help me. The other tried but mentioned he didn’t have his glasses. Didn’t enjoy my experience there what so ever. Please Do better.

I needed a battery. I called at 830a & they were already open for an hour. Lance answered all my questions & I came in afterwards for the battery replacement. Stephanie & Josh were beyond helpful & knew what they were doing. I felt good trusting the staff here. Lance swapped out my battery & I commend his fast efficient & proficient workmanship. Keep up the great work guys (& gal)…
