This place is amazing everybody's very friendly very knowledgeable . They fix my old snow blower a couple times they are very friendly so when the time came to buy a new one I had no questions in my mind that this is the place I want to buy my new snow blower because if something goes wrong with it they service it besides they can tune up every couple years .very happy The machine was actually very decent price and came out really good it's still going after probably 8 years no issues
Dont think you will have your yard machine looked at by them for a very long time! They claim they have been in business since their grandfather came to America in 1901 in a review… Well, it seems the current owners lost a huge aspect of their customer service. They had my backpack blower for over two weeks and haven’t looked at it. When I brought it in, they said they will look at it soon. After couple days, I called them up and they said they haven’t gotten to it yet. I called a couple of days later. They said they have it running in the back now and they should get back to me very soon. Called back a couple days later, the man said they haven’t gotten to it yet at all and it’s towards the top of the list to be looked at. I had enough and need my leaf blower fixed. I went into the store and it was on the floor among a sea of other backpack blowers. It seems it was not gonna be looked at for a very long time after picking it up.
So if you’re looking for a place to fix your backpack blower that has extremely poor customer service, a long, long wait time and lies to you about your machine, this is the place to bring it!
After researching lawn mower & power washer repair I decided to take a chance with Colaneri Brothers.
The reviews highlighted past repairs they performed which gave me confidence that I may not need to replace both of my machines that were submerged in water due to flooding.
I am so grateful to Colaneri Brothers!!! Basically, for the cost of routine maintenance they resurrected both of my machines and saved me from having to purchase new products.
Without hesitation, I will be using them from now on for all of my routine maintenance.
In the middle of fixing a carb on my power washer I realized I lost the carburetor screws, I called a few shops and no one was eager to help. Finally someone suggested I called Colaneri Bros in East Rutherford. I called and they said for me to stop by that if they didn’t have them, they would find a way to get them. I stopped by and they took two carburetor screws off of an old engine and gave them to me for free. I was able to fix my power, washer and save the weekend due to their kindness and generosity. They have won me over as a customer for life! Thanks guys!
Needed to have my lawn mower serviced and found this place, since the previous repair shop moved away. Can't complain, replaced what was needed and runs great for having it for 8 years now. Friendly staff and competitive prices.
I recently had an issue with a toro snow thrower purchased elsewhere. Toro Corp directed me to have Colaneri brothers take care of the issue.
The minute I brought it in they looked at it and fixed it on the spot! This type of service and customer care is why I would recommend them to anyone 100%. Thank you Colaneri brothers!!!
Brought my blade to seek for a replacement, was expecting to pay EST $50 something, but they ended up advised me that it could be sharpen and only cost few dollars and so far been almost a month, my mower works just like the new one.

a family-owned-and-operated business in a local town on Main Street USA that still doesn't credible business and takes care of you the customer they have a great sales staff and they won't take care of your every need I just bought a brand newToro snowblower fit them explained everything simply showed me how to use it and said any questions please call them and they will help me
It changed owners, left tons of messages, they never call you back, I don't think they know how to deal with costumers , sad they are not going to last long this way
I have been Using their services since I moved to NJ 2004, Love the Couple, they are thorough, Do an excellent job on my Snapper LM and very reasonable $. I would not name the other dealers around but COL BRO's are 1000 times better
I've worked in the area for years now and this place is always buzzing with activity. I needed a new tool so I figured I'd give it a shot. This store reminded me of how much I miss small businesses. Very personal touch and great information. If you need a repair or product, stop by!
The family-owned business seems to be a thing of the past these days. What isn't a thing of the past, though, is Col. Bros. excellent service. I bring all of my small-engine machines to them for repair because they are the best.
