Bad customer service, the girl in the register didn’t want to help me find what I was looking for with the excuse that it was just her and another person in the store at the moment, very unreasonable, I ended up going to another location.

Auto zone should be avoided. The employees refuse to install a rear windshield wipers. The manager stated his employees were not trained properly. Also the AutoZone database listed the wrong size of rear windshield blades for my 2014 Toyota. AutoZone was an all day event from untrained employees to incorrectly listed items on the company webpage. I advise customers to try advanced auto parts. Their employees are happy and willing to install parts purchased from their stores. Very rude and lazy employees

I think it's disgusting and disrespectful for other Auto Zone delivery driver to be parked in Handicap parking space with no handicap identification. When told manager it was blown off never shopping auto zone ever... Should be ashamed!

I came in the other day and I got an excellent service. This wonderful young man, very tall I think his name was Luis Sousa. He assisted me very well. I went in to buy a lightbulb, as one of the bulbs on my headlights were working. He brought me to it and EVEN helped me install it on my car!

I had a wonderful experience at the Malden AutoZone. Sheidy was incredibly knowledgable, helpful, and kind. She replaced my windshield wiper blades for me so fast and picked out a wonderful brand as I have no experience in this area. Thank you Sheidy!!!

I came to this AutoZone store today to buy a new pair of windshield wipers. When I was trying to replace them, I wasn’t sure how to do it, so I asked one of the staff members for help. The first guy didn’t know how to replace them either, so he asked another employee to assist. While replacing the passenger-side wiper, the wiper arm accidentally snapped back and hit my windshield, leaving a small chip and a visible crack. At first, I didn’t notice the damage because I was standing in front of the car and couldn’t see it clearly. The staff member kept apologizing, and I told him “you’re good.” After they finished and went back inside, I inspected more closely and discovered the chip and crack. I went back to talk to the same employee, and he was cooperative and checked the windshield with me. However, he kept saying it was just a small chip and nothing to worry about. He even mentioned that his own Acura’s windshield had a larger chip and said mine was fine to drive with. He suggested that if I really wanted to fix it, I should go through my insurance. I told him that filing an insurance claim would increase my insurance premium next year, but he didn’t respond. Since he was helping me for free, I didn’t argue further — but regardless, my windshield was still damaged.

Hi, I just wanted to leave a review after my experience yesterday. The boys were amazing, I only remember one of their name Nicolas Silva but there was another tall kid that took my payment. Even though they don’t have much experience with cars, they went out of their way to help me put in my light bulb. Thank you again, much appreciated! It was stressful for me because I didn’t want to get pulled over and the sun was going down so again thank you!! They were also very kind and you guys should be very lucky to have those two boys.

I would like to take moment to give a huge shout out to Sara and Sheidy. These ladies went above and beyond to help me. I bought oil and unfortunately put too much in. They quickly ran outside as my car started smoking and immediately knew what was wrong and how to handle the situation. They called their mechanic and tow company a.s.a p to help fix the situation. I appreciate these ladies so much for the help. Hands down the best customer service I have received in a long time anywhere. This was usually my go to location but I am now a forever customer thanks to their help. Thank you again Sara and Sheidy!

Stopped by at 5:20PM EDT on 8/8/25. Amazing team - found exactly what I needed with the help of this great team from the manager to the cashier. I would highly recommend this place for your auto needs - reasonably priced items, knowledgeable team and helpful support.

I went to the autozone Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon around 3ish. I have been waiting in the line for about 10 minutes. Theres only one person clerking someone out. Theres a girl sitting on boxes with redish blonde hair she sitting her small self texting on her phone. What is she a manager? Because she has a gray shirt and everyone else has red. She attended the person in front of me. She is so rude her attitude is disgusting. Why do company like this hire people like that. Im black and i ain’t rude if people cant remember their car stuff it ain’t a big deal just ask politely for the registration. I went for my pads stuff did i get it ? No once i seen her attitude i left no customer is going to want to be attended by someone that has a disturbing attitude. Autozone start hiring people that brings joy to customers and smile and are nice not disgusting people with an attitude. Im very fed up that i had to go all the way to saugus and i dont live in Saugus i live in malden and the people in Saugus were very respectful. But having someone in malden with an attitude your store is gonna come down. Dont expect me to be in there. Im all set with malden autozone

Alan V was super helpful when I went in and needed a tail light replacement. He took the time to help me remove the lightbulb and was a great person.

Arturo and his team at the Malden Autozone went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of! I came in to the store super overwhelmed and he step by step helped me with what I needed for my car. He didn't try to oversell anything or scam me, just helped me with the 2 things my car needed patiently and with a smile.

I went there 6 months ago to recycle the used oil, they declined. And I just went there again today and then refused again because "our tank is full". I really doubt it cuz it's the same excuse as the last time. So if you wanna recycle your used oil, better go to Medford AutoZone, they always take it.

Megh and Armani were awesome. Very helpful. They helped me change my headlights right on the spot despite the cold outside. They were very patient and kind to me. I would recommend this Autozone in Malden every single time. They’ve been always helpful to me in the past as well.

Bad, bad, bad service! The kid refused to change my light bulb. but just change the air filter of the guy before me! SERIOUSLY... I ordered Online, next day delivered, have it change by my mechanic for free, and I returned the light bulds while having my car washed across the street and I saved money ! What a desapointment! I don't get it most of thing are cheaper Online so why when you go physically to a shop they just don't give a donut about service!!

Iam beginning to think all auto zones are the same regarding customer service. 4-5workers in the store only one sales person helping customers he asked one of the remaining workers to help me. The worker had walked past me 2-3times not asking if I needed help mind you no other customers in the store. They were talking amongst themselves no remembering why there at the job to begin with

They were so so incredibly helpful. My elderly mother went there and there were three teenager/young men there that were so incredibly helpful my Mum came home so happy and told me to write this review. She needed windshield wipers but they were out of her budget and they helped her find coupons and such. One boy even came out and installed them for her. She was so thrilled with their service. 10/10 stairs. .

Definitely deserve ZERO stars. Bought a battery at this location for a Kia Sportage LX. The employee (tall/stocky Hispanic male with glasses) struggled to install the battery having to go in and out the store multiple times before “finishing.” The battery was not fully secured causing my car to lose connection to the battery while driving down 95 South. The looseness of the battery also caused cables to spark and melted the positive connector cable, the side of the brand new battery, as well as the thermal sheath for battery. Could have easily caused my car to set on fire! Once I get my final bill from KIA I will certainly be seeking reimbursement from auto zone.
