Will never use this location again. They allow people in the store no mask, yet "because of covid" they won't allow me to use an engine scanner. I have alcohol, and gladly would have sanitized it after use. The AutoZone across the street allowed me to use their scanner no questions asked. I'll be using autozone from now on. What a bunch of retards here
Had to make a semi-emergency trip at 5PM to replace a dying car battery. Associate was very helpful and patient, installed the new battery even though it was lightly raining (their policy is that they can't install batteries in rain for obvious safety concerns). I felt bad since it was pretty cold outside and all he was wearing was a t-shirt. Still, he was friendly, professional, and courteous. If I ever need automotive services in the future I'll definitely be going back.
Overall experience in advanced auto parts has been great, however when went in this particular location at 6h30pm to get my check engine light on... the answer that i got was that they "wouldn't go out after dark and it was to windy".
Went to autozone and got that taken care of.
Do yourself a favor and go to the autozone in Framingham, because customer service here sucks big time...!
Its always a headache, bad experience with them ,bought a battery and 1 yr after have to change under warranty and the buy alternator and it went bad 5 months after but they cant replaced another headache, they RIP me off no replacement never again, garbage...
My passenger windshield wiper fell off literally a mile from here. I pulled in, in the rain, found a wiper that fit my car and went to checkout. I was extremely impressed that the clerk said there were less expensive versions of the one I picked if I was interested. I didn't get his name but great service.
I like other advance auto part stores and frequent them in my area. The guy who helped me, after overlooking me waiting in line and going to help some other guy who had just walked in, was obviously not thrilled with working here. Older gentlemen with a goatee missing a few chompers on the bottom row. Looking passed the simple mistake of not noticing the dude in line holding a big box, this guy wasn't pleasant at all. After getting up charged for a part exchange of the exact same thing he proceeded to speak poorly about a customer who was calling on the phone. Mocked them to the rest of the team and put them on an indefinite hold. When I didn't understand why I was being up-charged for my parts he became instantly hostile. I said whatever and paid the extra so I could be done and get out of dodge. The rest of the team was great and maybe he was having a bad day but nonetheless I would not do business at this location again.
I wanted to buy and replace my car battery. Advanced advertises you can purchase and have it installed. Wrong, only one person there, said he could not help me. Lost me as a customer
Awesome experience! I can't say enough about Bill, the associate who was able to identify and help me purchase only what I really needed for my car. I went there right from the dealer, who quoted me a long list of little repairs, and was able to spend a LOT less, have a great conversation, and get done what needed to get done. Really appreciated Bill's attitude and his assistance.
