Store 42 on st rt 42 in union ky gets 5 stars. My man Joe found my warranty, doing a last parts sold matching my part number and located my purchase. Not only did he do that, he honored the warranty and provided me the brake pads at no cost. His response was we are trained to go beyond the normal to help our customers. I decided to also go beyond and call our Great job Joe at store 42 on 42 in Union. US HWY 42

TIGER: 'Struts' his Skills! We needed two hood struts replaced on our 2016 Hyundai Sonata Limited and we were recommended by our local AAA to go to Advance Auto Parts in Florence, Ky. Advance Auto Parts ordered the correct struts and received them in a couple of days. When I asked to have the struts installed, they referred me to 'Tiger', a cheerful and knowledgeable manager, who was able to install both of them in about ten minutes. Tiger was totally professional and careful in his installation of the struts, while being both friendly and reassuring to me during the installation process. We would therefore like to give Tiger, the manager, and the staff at Advance Auto Parts, a top rating of FIVE STARS for their professional help in this installation. - LWK

Brandon (I believe that’s his name) literally saved my life!! My car had no motor oil and he came and helped me diagnostic and refill my oil. He also taught me how to do it myself next time. I couldn’t be more thankful

The staff at Advanced Auto helped us out when we were stranded with car trouble in a bad thunderstorm. They went above and beyond to help us to diagnose the problem without trying to oversell needless products. They were friendly and knowledgeable, and we're grateful for their help!

Talk about going the extra mile this guy Andrew did just that in helping my wife with figuring out as to why her brake lights was not working and assisted her with changing the bulbs out I give Andrew and Company a five-star and highly recommend you buying your automotive parts from Advance Auto Parts!

Was accused by employee Rick of trying to commit “commercial fraud” and told me that we did not have an account, which the Valvoline location that I work for does. I provided the address and our store phone number which at any other location I’ve been able to be found. Then proceeded to get rude and so did his manager. they proceeded to tell me that they couldn’t find my account and then tried to put it under another Valvoline location, which was incorrect for discount purposes. Very terrible way to do business and really need to train your employees on customer service and how to treat and talk to people. Not immediately try to say that they’re committing fraud of any sort.

I went into the store unsure of what I needed for my truck.. The guy behind the counter greeted me as I came in and asked me what he could help me with, I explained my situation with my brakes and he immediately explained what I needed to fix my issue which was a new caliper... He was very knowledgeable and told me exactly what I needed to do to install the caliper and bleed the braking system... I'm not sure if he was a manager or not but the name on his shirt was Ervin however he said he was known there as Tiger... I was a bit overwhelmed when I walked in because I could not take my vehicle to a expensive repair shop, but when I left I felt confident in my ability to do the repair with the advice I got... I was assured by Tiger that if I had any issues that I could come back and talk to him and get answers or advice on repairs.. I have came into this store several times in the past and seen him here but he was helping other customers at the time... To be honest with you I believe every employee at advance should step up to this level of customer service that I got with Tiger... I also at the same time bought windshield wiper blades for my F-150 and before I even paid was asked by him if he could install them for me, which I said yes as I had never done it on my F-150 before... He walked out and installed the blades in no time and when I tried to give him a $5 tip he said it was not necessary as it was part of his job and resisted accepting the tip... It is this level of customer service that you don't get very often anymore from most places and it is a refreshing situation when you walk into this advance in Florence Kentucky and get this type of service from Tiger... I will go to no other parts place from now on and ask to be helped by him and the future... Keep up the good work!!!! Thanks Bill...

I have to totally applaud Landon and Nick for their superb customer service and friendliness. Had my thermostat housing break. They loaned me the basic tools to get it fixed in their parking lot. Never hesitated to help me get what I needed for the repair. Both those gentlemen need to be recognized for they way they treat customers no matter how much the part was. I will be a continuing customer at that location. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Tonight I was doing a simple ball joint replacement on both front side lowers for a customer. I discovered 1 bushing on each side was totally blown out. I called two other part stores before Advance Auto Parts.... Both of those were special order and almost a week out. I've spoke with a gentleman named tiger here at Advance Auto Parts and he was able to make sure that I had the bushings I needed by the very next morning. He went completely out of his way to help me out and I will not call anywhere else again!

I typically buy my auto parts online. I do the same with Advance Auto since there are discounts of 25 - 40%. For the most part, I am able to find what I need only and pick up the part. I usually get serviced right away when I do at the stored. The service is knowledgeable and they can usually answer my questions, if I have any. The tool rental service is good as well. Every once in a while the item I ordered is not the item I receive. Typically this requires an extra trip. But for the most part this is a good location.

The new GM, Nick, is hands down the definition of great customer service. My battery had died right next to Advanced Auto. Thank goodness because Nick did not bat an eye. He came out in the cold and changed my battery. I truly appreciate his time and effort knowing he most likely had plenty of other important things to do. I am so proud that Advanced Auto is a part of my community! Thank you Nick!!

They have things when autozone doesn’t which comes in handy but I’ll never go back after they tried to sell me used hid bulbs When mine went out. I took the first one back thinking maybe it was a mistake but then I get another one and you can easily that the bulb had been used and was damaged even. If it comes off the shelf no problem but anything behind the counter there is no longer and option for me. Maybe next time...

Rude reps: Walked in and said good morning, both reps acted like they didn’t hear me. Walked up to the register and repeated. Nothing. Not very helpful: Asked about a certain part for my Sienna. The rep pulled up some random stuff on the monitor and told me a price. I asked to see it. He turned the monitor like he was offended. Completely wrong. If you don’t have the patience for this, just get another job. Not every customer will know the exact name of what they need. I just went to the one on Dixie. Much better.

Once again Advance Auto to the rescue! This time it was brake lines on a Saturday afternoon. They had everything we needed to repair our car on premises. In fact, if you are a hands on person these folks can save you alot of money on so many different auto repairs. From oil changes and filters to brakes and gaskets these people know what they are doing! As Always, Enjoy!

They have everything you need and the folks working there are friendly and knowledgeable. They will make time to come out to your car and answer questions. They have saved me money more than once and probably kept me from getting costly repairs. They will give you sound advice and you never feel like you are being ripped off.

Ordered parts online to pick up in store, only to find out when I got home and ready to put them on they gave me the wrong item. Went to exchange them in store, staff wasn't terribly friendly guy behind the counter called his coworker an "f***ing idiot" in front of me. They didn't really seem to care that their mistake ended up wasting hours of my time.

I'm kind of surprised this place is still open. I've only been there once, but the two employees that were there at the time did not seem to know much about the store or their products. I handed them a printout of an order I'd placed the previous night and it almost seemed like they'd never seen an online order before. Auto Zone is just down the street, and I've never seen less than four employees waiting to help customers out, and they seem like they know their jobs. UPDATE: I had to return the item I purchased because after reading the directions, I realized it wasn't close to enough, and the gallon size what I really needed. The person who took care of me was very courteous, and knew right where the gallon size product was. She processed the return, and gave me the online discount on the new product. I'm going to give them five stars for this second experience.
