I'm a real repeat business kind of guy. I shop my favorite gas station, shop at same food market, same hardware store, and I'm willing to bet most you guys are too. Well thru the suggestion of a friend I decided to go here to cash in my payload for the week, I usually go to scrap yard out in Walton but this place is closer to home. It was an absolute nightmare!! I mean pulling in someone from the yard had dropped a semi trailer right on the scale basically blocking all access thru to the yard office or the ability to have my own load weighed. Other employee drivers with trucks were all just hanging around smoking and talking with not a care in the world about this hold-up. Finally after about 10 minutes of me sitting there the driver of the truck responsible for removing the trailer from the scale finished smoking, and talking then took one last look at me and FINALLY moved out the way. When I was finally inside no one was insight. No one at all to guide or direct someone in any way. With no help at all I unloaded my payload. Never once being offered any help or service. And wouldn't you know it, because of all the hold ups and lack of help I ended up being about 30 minutes late getting to work. Like I said, "Absolute Nightmare"!!

Very Helpful for getting rid of scrap metal for cash. The prices given for scrap metal is better than any other recycling company. Workers are nothing but nice and super helpful.

Great place to haul scrap off. Jessie was a big help and has a great deal of customer service this place takes care of your needs and don’t rip you off like most yards highly recommend this place to anyone

Recycling Express is the worst place to sell ur pallets to now day cuz they enjoy on ripping people off on their prices for pallets.. $2. For grade A&B pallets to the people is very wrong when they give thier other people more like $6 a peice. Well im filling a law suit for discrimination for all of the wrong full thing that they have done to me and not giving the equal opportunity as the rest of there customer. They cheat certain people out of there money that they put alot of hard effort into it just so they can survive and try to feed thier families out here. So i will never recommend anyone to take thier scrap or pallets there ever again. And extremely rude to people as well ............

I took some metal to be recycled. I asked for help to unload one item. They refused to send someone because they said I was on my own to unload. I am 71 years old needed help. I finally stopped a worker who was on a loader and asked for help. He was reluctant to give me 30 seconds of his time but because I had the road blocked he had no choice. I have never seen such poor customer service. Everyone I talked to was unfriendly and had a bad attitude. I’m sure there are other recycling companies around. This one is worth passing by. I was close to dragging everything I had to drop off and leaving it in their driveway. Had the one worker not helped me that is what I would have done. I couldn’t have moved the one heavy item to the pile of metal alone. I gave them one star because I couldn’t go lower.

Go to scrap yard. Prices are fair and staff are very friendly little Chris and jessie and lady in the office are awesome. Highly recommend

The only reason I willing gave this company 1 star is the simple fact you have to rate in order to leave a review. Fortunately the men who work the loading docks are very nice, helpful and willing to answer any questions you may have. Then there's the lady who works the front office and she is very unprofessional. Her attitude is appalling to me considering this is a place of business and people interact with her daily. The way she presents herself and her tone of voice are unbusinesslike. The fact she is the face of the company during the visit is why I will only give a 1 star.

I had to say express recycling I wouldn’t recommend no other scrap yard except for this place let’s just say yesterday morning I would not be back on the road without my truck my truck blew a hole in it and then the guys were nice enough to help me change over the tire but and changing of the tire we found out my leafspring on my truck and snapped well while I went out to go get another tire the guys there had welded my leafspring back for me to get me back on the road so I am very grateful to express recycling and I just want to tell everybody thank you

This place sounds very rude.i called literally jus to get a few prices because I havnt scrapped anything in years.i have a few catalytic converters along with some brass shells and tons of other things I wanted to get ride of so I called just to get an idea.so soon as the words catalytic converter come out of my mouth it was meet with "o you have to have titles for those"as if literally the first thing you thought as I ask was they are stolen.i get that they are stolen alot but that shouldn't be the first reply.i called for prices,not the procedure I need to go through when I get there.that should be saved for after pricing I think.like hey just a heads up before you do come here we do need titles tho.as I replied with I have the titles for both my cars they came off she then starts to tell me "o i have paid as lil as 2 dollars to 70 for those".If that's the case it sounds like you're really ripping all your happy customers you have online off without them knowing. I literally called two places right before I called you and the first question they asked me was are they OEM or aftermarket if I knew that then after I answered that they asked for the numbers off of them then after that they gave me a price and THEN that's when they told me what I already knew what I needed to have the titles to the vehicle that they come off of and why did they offer 150 each for them when the best you could say was maybe anywhere from 2 to 70 bucks. My anxiety is already bad and I already hate dealing with people enough as it is and there's people like you guys that make it extremely difficult and hard for people like me to want to do business with you when you sound so rude and condescending and especially when I literally just got off the phone with other people and have that exact opposite experience it's just mind blowing how fast one place can make you feel like your nothing.im glad I decided to call instead of go there.

The owner is a wonderfully nice person who went out of his way after closing time to help us. He stayed an hour later just for us. He also gives a nice competitive rate for metals. I highly recommend this place. Thank you recycling express!

Terrible business practice! Don't believe their business hours! They claim to "close at 5pm" but, after loading the trailer and starting that way, I called to get a a better idea of that they are near. GPS showed that I was to arrive at 4:35. The rep that answered said that, though they close at 5, they will not help me if I'm there after 4:30. I said I would be there at 4:35, and she said that they would be willing to help customers the next morning at 8:30. By definition, I feel that "open till 5" means that they serve their customers up untill 5. With this poor of customer service, I guess it's a blessing in disguise that t found out how they are before conducting business with them. Thanks Recycling Express, I'll go to one of the many other companies that open at 8:30am tomorrow.

Fast and great service. Employees really knew what they were doing. Great prices. I was in and out with no problems. They made the whole experience fast and easy. All around great experience. Would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.

I have used both of the Recycling Express locations for years. Every time I go there the employees are always willing to help me with unloading my materials. I'm always in and out in reasonable time with money in hand. I would recommend them to my friends.

Not a very friendly place to take your scrap. There is no signage or anyone to direct you where to go. The place is a mess. I cashed out and received only cash. No scale tickets, no receipt, or anything to justify what I had been paid. 2nd and last visit to this facility.

I went there tonight and got there around 4:55pm. They close at 5:00. I Was having truck issues with my drive shaft. A young boy looked at a woman with Daisy dudes on like what's this. She comes over and i said how do I do this? She starts yelling we close in four minutes with her hand showing four fingers. She then said we don't have time to do all this as her hand did a circling motion. We open at 8:00 In the morning and walked away. I found that to be rude as rude can get. It was only my second time being there and Im learning your facility. Not sure if I'll go back. No need for the additute and being treated badly.

Edit: When speaking with the owner he was very apologetic about the whole situation. He told us to bring back the receipt which we did and he made it right. Make sure you research the market value. If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is a rip off. They paid 1/5 of what Bluegrass Recycling quoted. Never using this company again. Chris "helped" us and was very rude and difficult to work with.

I have been using both of the Recycling Express facilities for years now and I could not say enough about them. The employees are always eager to assist when I come in. They help unload the materials to make sure that I am sorting them correctly. As soon as you are done they had me a slip showing the weight and you walk around the corner and get paid. I would recommend them to everyone!!

Rude lazy we did their job don't save cans and take it there they make you open your bags that you took so much time backing him up Bagon and throw him in a hopper and wait for do to sort through your cans and make sure you ain't got no metal in it find a different job you lazy pieces of garbage I will never be there again thank you. Oh yeah and you're not allowed to use the restroom to wash your arms and hands and face that you just got dirty doing their job junk is what they are

One of the best places to recycle any scrap metal you have. They pay better, they are super friendly and my favorite part is that you drive right up to the scale. I have a small child so being able to drive right in and not have to get him out of the car is awesome. I love this place. I will never recycle any where else if I don't have to.

Their new facility is great. You no longer have to drive around back of their commercial/industrial site. Now you can drive right into the building and come out right next to the pay window. This makes bringing my copper and cans very convenient and I get paid quickly. I am very happy that they decided to separate their industrial facility and their residential drop-off!

I've only taken aluminum cans, and the price for those can be easily checked and is the same pretty much everywhere. The biggest problem with this place is that one has to drive around the back of the building to drop off and the pathway is always totally covered with material: paper, cardboard, plastic, and all kinds of metal. There's a very good chance you will get a punctured tire or get debris trapped under your car or up in the engine. They seemingly do nothing to keep that pathway clear. I'm sure they make their money off industrial clients and don't care that much about people bringing in small loads of cans, but still...they could make the effort. I'd go elsewhere, but this place is very close to me and it's quick to drop off and get paid.

drive to get to the drop off point needs to be swept, it's not worth recycling if you get a flat tire. the drop off point is a dead and he needs to be a drive thru. treated all wire s 50 percent number 2 paying 85 sense,except for Christmas lights. another prices as of Mae are steel 8.5 sense, Christmas lights 15 sense, aluminum 40 cents, brass 1 dollar 75 cents, dirty brass 1 dollar 25 cent, number 1 copper 2 dollars 60 cents.
