I did not buy a fuel tank like I was looking to do. I did not because of the honest man I spoke to. I was told when replacing a fuel tank its probable a better idea to buy new. He explained why to me and I agreed by the end of our call. He could of sold me an old rusty tank just so they could make a buck. I was instead guided to go a different route, a smarter route even though he was not going to make a sale.
I needed a door and a fender for my sons car. Not only did they have it, it was the right color, and the cost was half the price of the other places I called and for exactly what I needed. They had the parts removed and ready for pickup the next day, and they helped load. I've never used a salvage yard before for context, but this was a great experience.
It's been only a few days since I trusted this business enough to share my Debit card number . Well I don't spend it much so I can keep tabs on where my money goes . Sadly my information ended up trying to chard me a $600+ Amazon , a $350+ Wal-Mart bill and a $900 on eBay. So careful who u trust , cause I learn my lesson. And that's the last of my money this junk yard will ever see from my wallet.
Had a transmission go bad in my car, they were able to source one for a reasonable price, and were able to install it reasonably and efficiently. Only took them 3 days to complete it. Very happy customer. Staff was nice too

Went to buy a fender for my truck they had it ready for me paid for over the phone with a guarantee that it would be to my expectations so soon as I walked in confirm payment and quality of item out the door less than a minute with just what I was wanting

Feel like they took advantage of my mother 100% and basically I feel like they robbed or for over $600 the car didn't even get to drive away from their location and it was supposed to have a 30 day guarantee
Poor attitude poor customer service. Be warned he wont pull the part till you pay for it. Sounds kinda like a scam. No other salvge yard in town does that
I have been here on several occasions, the son has for the most part treated me decent but everyone else...TERRIBLE!!!!!!! I stopped in one day in an excellent mood but by the time I left, that was completely erased! They continued to act like I needed a personal inspection, I called ahead for the part so when I got there, they proceeded to act like I was an idiot. The father was INCREDIBLY NASTY! I tried to find a place to park and after parking in front of the building and getting out of the car (this was after going inside and experiencing crappy service) he proceeded to tell me, (as nasty as he could) I could not drive in the yard...I clearly had park the car, turned it off and was getting ready to grab the tools out of the back seat. I then grab the tool box and stood there the entire time watching me, so he then tells me that I can't take the tool box into the yard. I should know exactly what tools I need if I claim to be a be a mechanic. I was blown away!!!! I had no interest in stealing anything, I was just there to get a part. I told him about his crappy attitude and service and just said "yup". I stopped and thought about what tools I might need specifically and dug them out of the tool kit. I went to look for the part but didn't find it but the entire time, I couldn't shake the way the 2 guys came across. I though it was a "racial issue" but I see at least one other post about staying away because of terrible service. I'll never go to this business again, I should have just jumped in my car after the dad showed his true face. I couldn't even begin to think about treating my customers the way they did! I would not recommend them...for any reason!

Extremely Rude customer service. When i called to ask what a used part would cost, the gentleman who answered the phone quoted me a price that was very close to that of a new part. Therefore I simply and to the point asked if he could do any better on the price if i bought some other items as well. He listens to my entire question, then without a word he simply HUNG UP ON ME. WOW. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE RUDE PEOPLE. I wish i could rate this place ZERO STARS. It seems like as soon as he knew i couldn't be overcharged for the part (one that he had to bothered to remove from a junk car to even sell) he just hung up on me. Anyone who tries to act like a decent and polite customer on the phone deserves much better then what I got. I was nothing but polite and precise with my request and that's what this clearly low to no class employee gave me in return. I sincerely hope that whoever owns Sunset Beach Salvage realizes that having an scum-bag employee or manager acting unprofessional in this manner not only turns off a customer ,it INSULTS them to the point that they feel they must write an honest albeit ugly review to let other fellow consumers/shade tree mechanics know what kind of company this is. I will be taking future business elsewhere and encouraging others to do so as well. !!CAVEAT EMPTOR!!

I purchased a fender that I was told would fit a 1998-2002 Honda Accord, and it did fit, but it did not match the roof pillar, leaving a large gap. It also would scrap against the door. I purchased the correct one from ebay and it fit perfectly, and when I asked if they would buy it back, not full price, just purchase it back so I could get something for y $75, it was recommended that I take it to a salvage yard.
I will not be back to this place for business.
