Getting better. Cars are back off the ground. Mostly.
Don’t have to pay extra for a guarantee on the part.
Friendly staff. Glad to see the old white haired guy back.
His knowledge is useful. Thanks.
Wrench and go very easy to work with good pricing. Richard ,Cody and Brian from the back is awesome good help with good attitudes. Will definitely be back.
Both me and my boyfriend tried getting someone to call us back after he left a message and I did the online request for a quote. No response at all, we tried calling and only 1 time got a person who was very rude and hung up before we could even say anything.
Used to be able to search car inventory on the website the feature no longer works kind of annoying to drive clear to the south side to check if they have a vehicle in stock to pick from
I've had nothing but great service and great deals . I go there every weekend if not every other. Most of the time it ends up being a reconnaissance mission, but I always get a great deal when I find something I need. Thanks guys! See you this weekend!!!
They didn't allow me inside because I had my daughter with me. Can't leave her outside without adult supervision. Make life tough. Guess I go to Amazon.
I called asking for a diferential, before nothing he gave me a price of 220 dindt let me say wath cat was this for and i had to take it off ,
I called riverside 150 just pick it up and pay at ofiice
Prices are made up and don't even match what the price is online. Bought an air vent, and the guy listed it as misc. and overcharged for it because he said he didn't know what it was and argued that it wasn't an air vent. He also said the prices online weren't accurate. The same guy another time told me a trim part was a bezel and belittle me saying I don't know car parts and he knew what it was. Bad experience and would avoid going there to get scammed. Paid $20 for a $4 part and didn't realize it until i looked at the receipt.
Great selection, easy to get to most vehicles and are already on stands. Very reasonably priced as well! Was my first wrecking yard experience and was very impressed. Will be back for sure!
Been there twice both times I was turned away at the door within an hour of closing time. They make up their own hours. Both times I came 3 hours before the closing time posted on Google or their website. Call before you go!
The best! I was discriminated against but they got rid of him. The older guy with a beard is the best. I go to this place to relax, every automobile is a book.
The yard is organized well, but hands down the rudest grouchiest staff of any other junkyard in the metro. Especially avoid the older “gentleman” with a beard and can’t walk too well. I was blown away by how he treated me and others around me. Very uncomfortable experience. I just left and will never be back unless things change.
Good place for car parts. Prices aren't negotiable but they're low enough. $1 fee for entry is a bother but worth it for how organized, they have the cars lifted off the ground plenty of space to get the parts you need. Do recommend!
Staff somewhat friendly but helpful. They keep it as clean as I supposed they can for the type of industry. So quick and easy to navigate through lines of cars & trucks allowing easy access to locate & remove the parts needed. Parts so cheap it's crazy!
This is a pretty good self service yard, and I have been coming here since they opened, and prior to that under previous names! I have a fairly large menagerie of 80's vehicles and like to come here every month or so looking for parts for them, or anything else I might find interesting. Most of the stock is 90's-2000's with a smattering of 80's. 2010's are starting to be more common as well. Today I managed to pick over an 82 VW Rabbit for things that my 88 Golf Cabriolet needed!
I actually give wrench n go about a 3 because they have a couple grouchy ones working there and are not trying to go any particular way out of for ya. I give one of their employees the 5 star. Javier is his name and I was totally impressed by his word and he by far went out of his way to help me and that meant alot to me that he didnt brush me under the rug and actually followed up with me. He is AWESOME!!!! SUPER SWEET AND POLITE AS WELL. People like him makes a repeat customer out of me. Thank you sir,
😊
This place gets worse each time I go. They are judgemental and rude if you aren't a man even worse. and when you call about a price they lie and then up the price after you spend all that time taking the part out. I go here so often and after this time I'm over it. I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you absolutely need to .
Always a great time, better then most places you might think to take this girl on date night! Lol! The staff is always helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I almost always find what im looking for, can't say that about many things. 😉 Best buck you can possibly spend.
My boyfriend needed some parts for the front-end of his truck, namely a bumper. So we decided to check out the local junk yards. It getting late in the afternoon so we knew that Yaws would be closed. So we called Wrench and Go. After confirming they were open I asked the person on the phone what time they closed. I got hung up on. The website said they were open until 5:00 So we grabbed some tools and headed that way. When we arrived, there were 3 people standing outside the front door. We didn't know if they were just practicing safe distancing or what. So my boyfriend checks it out. Apparently they were closed. This is why they were only given 1 star. We didn't need to waste the time and gas going down there just for them to make their own hours! So disappointed. Because of this deceit I will not use their services ever again.
No set pricing. Pricing is set by the Person u talk with. They want 23.50 for a interior rear view mirror. And 160$ per door panel. We talking about parts from mid 90s vehicles. Come on people. Check out trails end. Better pricing and customer service.
I looked at a vehicle that was for sale and when I asked about it they had it listed on paper for sale at $1700 then a person said to change it to $1900 and now I have seen it for sale on craigslist for $2000(2005 Ford Escape). This makes me question what their ethics are and how they do business. Was told all they did to the vehicle was put gas in it and nothing else.
$1 admittance. A person can't really go wrong with that. Don't be fooled, their online inventory isn't 100% accurate. They understate what they have, so if you are in doubt, check it out. I pulled a few items that were pennies on the dollar, so for those that are budget conscious...this is a great place to spend your day. The staff were friendly and it wasn't too horribly busy. The inventory was on the less fresh side, but that happens in a high demand area.
Update: The parts I bought that were claimed as good, all work beautifully. So happy I saved a fortune with these guys and got my hands dirty.
**THEY ACCEPT TOUCH PAY TOO**
(Samsung, Google, Apple, PP, etc). This small feature just made them my best friend
Recommend.
It's an awesome experience; 1st time without my brother or husband. I needed a relay switch. They charged me a dollar and cut me loose. I loved it. I met some really nice people recommended to all.
Loved it, walked in said I was looking for a front bumper, the gentlman asked year make and model, I told him, so he gave me super specific directions to the only one in the lot! I got my part and brought it up front, he gave me a very fair price and I took it home. A great overall experience
I like it because I can pull parts I want. My dismantling a part I can better understand how the piece will fit om my car. Great learning experience for the novice..great place to get low prices on parts that would cost twenty times more at the dealership. Pretty sharp staff too.
Horrible customer service!!!! Called to ask if they had a specific size tire, and the lady apparently thought that was a dumb question. Very condescending and huge attitude. I understand you probably can not know all tire sizes being it’s a salvage yard. However, it was a question coming from someone that lives 45 minutes away and again, it was simply a question that could have been answered without being talked to as if you are a child. Train your employees to have some respect and courtesy when dealing with potential customers.
I wished that they disclosed you are going to be charged and environmental fee for everything you purchase and an extra $3.00 for dismount fee on every tire you buy. Tires are listed at $20.00 but closer to $24.00 each. Overall a good place to get a decent deal if you are willing to hunt and remove yourself.
The service was welcoming and the prices aren't bad. They accept credit cards, and have good hours. The lot can get muddy after rain, but overall a good place to go. The automated phone service was very easy to work with and the staff was helpful when asking about their stock of vehicles.
