We recently used Marty Massey Towing & Recovery Inc for one of our business trucks and couldn’t be more pleased. They responded quickly, handled our vehicle with care, and were professional from start to finish.
My car impounded and they are overcharging
I was told 300 -and two days later it’s over 700
Like come I might as well get my things and get another vehicle because it’s going to take a prayer to get my car out
First let me say I'm very sensitive to other people's time. My background is in transportation and I know that the clock is running on tow drivers.
I have used Massey to move my classic cars before. Today I needed a breakdown tow (just 2 miles) but the Massey lady said they were "swamped" with no local drivers available right then and it would be "a couple of hours" so I called another Douglasville company. Their driver showed up, was condescending, and used some language I won't repeat. Just plain rude and pushy.
I told him to go away and I called Massey back, and told them I would wait at the location with my car.
Massey showed up in five minutes. (no exaggeration). He was exceptional. A young guy. He was very cautious hooking to the car. Money was not a big concern in this but Massey was still less than the bad company. I made sure the Massey driver knew I was grateful.
Got a tow from driver Chris he was very professional and helpful

Car was impounded maybe 9 hours and was charged $350! After being wrongfully arrested, you have to deal with highway robbery to get your car back! This whole town is working together to ROB and overcharge people especially targeting out of town tags/vehicles!! It’s not right and I pray justice will be served as this has been a nightmare for me and my family all involved in this HIGHWAY ROBBERY BY THIS TOWING COMPANY & THE DOUGLASVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT!! 0/10
My car got towed here wasn't even here for 24 hours only a couple of hours I was charged almost $400 which is ridiculous I ask if a manager was there so I can try to at least get a better price no manager & no cooperation smh I advice everyone PLEASE do not come here unless u wanna get rip off this company is horrible ? & just taking money that people don't have
Dr John is the man!!! He was quick, professional, kind, and great overall. I'm very appreciative. The price was great. Its relieving for me to know an honest business that handles things professionally.
I broke down ? tonight on my way home from work then I called Massey Towing & Recovery the guy who answered was extremely nice and was also reasonable then afterwards Dr. John showed up in a very quickly to Tow my truck and he was very professional, helpful, and courteous! I recommend this Towing Service to any of my family, friends, and others to choose Massey Towing anytime they need a Tow!
This company frauds you by overcharging and breaking O.C.G.A. governing laws.
I called around 11pm as this company advertises as open 24hrs to retrieve my vehicle. I was told I would have to wait to 8 am the following day & was qoted $300. I went there around 9:30am the next morning and the old guy charges me $460 even after I told him the quote I received not even 12hrs prior. My vehicle was impounded no more then 16 hrs. After researching towing laws I see that if your car hasn't been in their possession over 24hrs, there is NO storage fee which I was charged $100 for. The old guy would refused to give me the name of the tow truck driver who picked my car up w/o my consent. 0/10 would NOT recommend!!!

Should do some reeducation on road safety. Your driver was to busy yapping with his co and slammed on the brakes and swerved into my lane almost causing me to go off road thank God I was on a motorcycle and could shoot past him. Almost turned him into Swiss cheese trying to run up and fight me for honking when he was in the wrong. The video is doing great on tik tok has 15k views currently ?
