I can’t say enough about Alex from AV ATowing. I had an unfortunate mechanical incident on Rt.1 in Milford this week. I needed to pull off the highway at a gas station to check under my hood. Although, I had the situation under control, Alex went out of his way to come over to see if I was OK. He wasn’t looking to “sell” me his service, but genuinely cared. I would absolutely recommend this company. Thanks again, Alex!
I called and was given a quote by a very nice lady. She said she had to call the driver and confirm. A few minutes later she said the truck would be there in an hour. It was right on time and the guy was great... Wouldn't even take a trip.. first choice next time I (or anyone else) needs a tow.
Should have looked up the towing company before using this company, he quoted to be there within 30-40 minutes, took almost 2 hours to get there, then he promised to send me a receipt in the morning so I could submit to my insurance, I have reminded him several times and no response! No text or call back, since it’s not his pocket he doesn’t care!!
Got a flat tire at 11 pm one night. I usually never have an issue but that night the lug nuts weren't budging. Just had my knees replaced so this was not fun on e rainy night. I looked up the local towing companies and saw AVA Towing LLC. The gentleman that answered was asleep but very courteous. I wasn't very far away from him so it wasn't very long for him to get to me. He had all the right tools and even had to air up my doughnut which had gone empty. Great service at a great price. I saved his number.
These people are over priced! Since I needed a tow in the middle of the night I was told I would get a receipt in the morning so I could get a reimbursement from my insurance company. They have avoided my calls. And when I did get a hold of someone, they said they would get right on it. It's been over a week, I have again tried calling multiple times. Still no receipt. I would not recommend these people. Not at all.
So after a month, only after I posted this bad review, did he contact me, complained that my review hours his business. Well, that's your pocket right? What about my pocket. Getting a reimbursement from my insurance company. Well, he finally decided to send me something. Was it a receipt? No it was an invoice for something I have already paid! What a shady person this Alex is! The worst!
Horrible service not professional at all was stuck in the rain called for a tow was lied to serval times about coming to do the job this man named Alex was horrible would tell me he was coming an was not then called a day later to ask if I still needed help! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!
On a rainy Sunday afternoon drive back from Virginia to New York City, our van encountered a flat tire. AARP and Allstate would have taken over an hour (plus $$$) to tow our car (and could not help us since we didn't have a spare tire) but we were trying to get our car to the Walmart auto center (to buy a spare tire and have it fixed). The auto center was closing in an hour. AV A Towing picked up our car and towed it all the way to the Walmart auto center just in time. Long story short, we were able to go home on that same night with their help. We won't forget that day and these guys! Thank you so much!!
Very professional and respectful. Good price paid him a lil extra since he had to pump my tires and charge the battery to get it in neutral. Overall great guy and great service. Definitely reccomend.
Picture it, Broadkill Beach at 5pm on a Friday night. Two women and two kids stranded on the side of the road with a dead battery :( Enter Alex to the rescue! Friendly, quick and happy to be of service! If we lived in the area he would definitely be my mechanic...not too bad on the eyes either ;) if you're ever in the area and have any car trouble, give him a call!
Alex is Awesome!! He towed our car from the middle of nowhere and he is Fixing our car so we can get home! We are about an hour and a half away from home. He made a scary situation not scary for my sister and I!🤗😇
Fast Service, reasonable prices and great customer service! Nobody wants to be stuck on the side of the road, but if you are this would be a great place to call!!
I had a great experience while on my vacations with this towing company even tho my rental car broke down, AV A Towing was kind enough to take me to a good local shop. Very quick, honest and affordable. Will always recommend them.
